Newly renovated rooms were well equipped - USB charging points on the walls were a great touch, as we had kids and their devices. We were given two rooms with adjoining door - fantastic. Being new the bathrooms were great. TV facilities also excellent - Hisense TV’s with Netflix and YouTube.

Location was next to busy bottle shop but as that was also run by the hotel that manages the accommodation, that’s expected. To be fair not much pick up traffic so it wasn’t an issue. Our rooms backed onto a yard that was littered with discarded furniture - yes we pulled the blinds down but really it wouldn’t be too hard for the operators to clean up this absolute eyesore …

Staff friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. On the morning of the 18th the water stopped running while my husband was taking his shower. I phoned reception and they explained the builders had probably turned it off and she said she would go right away to find them and have it turned back on. within a few minutes the water was back on and my husband finished his shower. We realize unexpected issues arise and were impressed with the prompt manner in which the problem was resolved.

We stayed in Rm 16 and the way the shower door opens out to the toilet isn't very practical. I think a larger person would find it quite difficult.

Older motel undergoing renovation. We stayed in one of the new rooms and it was nice. Good bed and pillows, quiet at night. Good bathroom. Coffee pod machine was a nice touch. Bottle shop was close and handy. The hotel main bar area was nicely done up. As we were cycle touring it was good to be able to store our bikes in our room overnight.

The restaurant was closed for renovations , but when finished in the new year it should be great.

The rooms were completely refurbished and definitely exceeded our expectations. So clean, and tidy, had everything we needed. Loved the coffee machine in the room and the bathroom was huge.

The bistro was not available which was one of the main reasons for booking there, the staff kindly pointed us in the direction of a nearby establishment and the food there was so amazing so are happy.

The staff! So very friendly and helpful. After I brought my husband back to the room after having day stay surgery at the Wollongong Hospital, the staff were so helpful and concerned. Very kind indeed. Wal's cafe was fabulous! Wal was great to talk to about our needs. He made it easy for me when taking food back to our room. The tavern meals were delicious and I would not hesitate in recommending Wal's cafe to anyone travelling by or to locals who I'm sure already know how good the food is!!

We loved the air conditioner and the amount of space in the room considering there were 2 x single beds and a queen. The room was terrific for our family. The shower head was brilliant! I love an old school water head that actually flows water!

The shower was dirty inside like it wasn't cleaned properly but that was not a giant deal breaker. The extra security chain for the door was broken which would have been nice if fixed. The bathroom window didn't lock so could have been quite easily opened from outside.

Lovely clean room, bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent car parking. Good restaurant on premises. Close to all local amenities.

WiFi only available in the restaurant, but worked ok there. Everything else great.

It was comfortable and location was good and close to Stockland Shopping Centre

The doona was covered in coffee stains which my wife noticed in the morning . There was no WiFi in room, you had to go into hotel to use the WiFi

Cheap and the bed was very comfortable.

There was dead fly in the fridge, a weird stain on the chair and I don’t know if I was using the SMEG coffee pod machine wrong but the coffee wasn’t drinkable.

The room had been fully renovated in the previous 12 months and was very comfortable. Good bathroom, very efficient heating, comfortable bed.

Needed one more towel rail in the bathroom.
