Cozy M Hotel

This was a very last minute stay. I booked it online right on 2pm, walked in a few minutes later and was able to check in straight away. The staff are absolutely lovely and I feel they truly go above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable and have a great stay. The room was nice and cosy, but still felt spacious! The vibe of the room was great. The projectors rather than a tv was a nice change and the lighting above the bed made me feel very relaxed. The decor added a nice touch, definitely a homey and cosy vibe. I was truly impressed with the Cozy M. The room and facilities were clean, we stayed on the first floor and there were two shared bathrooms on our floor which we had no issues with. The kitchen and common areas were lovely, as was the included breakfast. It was an amazing variety, they even had alternative milks such as soy and a variety of breads. Overall, I highly recommend Cozy M and look forward to staying there again. Great value for everything included, the location, and the friendliness of staff and staff their outstanding customer service.

The staff were sooo friendly and helpful which was great. We loved the breakfast spread that was available every morning, really nice touch. The kitchen was good too, not huge by any means but good enough to cook basic food in. The bed was really comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms looked recently refurbished and modern. Laundry facilities upstairs were good but you do have to pay. We had a sink in our room which was handy, as well as a kettle, tea/coffee, biscuits, and a mini fridge. Really good location! Only took us 20 mins to get to CBD on foot! Housekeeping was every other day unless you opted out which is good as a lot of places don’t do that.

There’s no lift so bare that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. The projector style tv was cool however not ideal if you want to watch it during the day - as it’s too bright to see it. No bedside lamp just the main light so was a bit much if you wanted to read before bed. Only one male toilet/shower and one female toilet/shower on each floor (between 10 ish rooms).

it’s the best option in the city with the best quality/price ratio if you want a private room. Very tidy, the shower is actually renovated and good. The staff is always nice and tries to help. The bed is so comfy ! And so convenient to have your own sink and fridge. The location is also great! Very quiet.

This was my second stay in this hotel. I would say’s that this time I was surprised to have a room with very minimal daylight, like almost none because the window was so close to another wall. So for the price I was a little disappointed especially because the previous room was great for the same price. It can be a little noisy if there is people in the corridor and there was a little party going on on the same floor as mine one night so a little annoying but nothing major comparing to other places. And last thing, the kitchen wasn’t completely usable, we could use the big fridge and microwave but we couldn’t cook anything, could be good to be aware of that when you arrive.

Beds were comfortable and were medium soft. Really like the layout of the rooms. Small but has everything you need including mini fridge and sink. Projector is a fun idea for each room but the audio is crap without separate speakers. Good varied lighting options. Power where you need it.

Speakers of the projectors in the rooms are horrible quality. The walls/doors are quite thin with not the best seals so you can hear loud conversations emanating from other rooms while inside your own room. Breakfast was just ok. Basic cereal, toast and small baked goods. The hall lights are fluorescent blue and quite bright which makes them quite harsh when doing a midnight bathroom run.

We absolutely loved staying at Cozy M. It's a pretty central location. The room is very much a cosy space. The shared bathroom and shower was always spotless anytime I used it and seems to be cleaned frequently. The breakfast is great too. There are a selection of cereals, pastries, juices and hot drinks. The staff are helpful and kind. You really couldn't ask for anything more. Would highly recommend staying here.

The decorative pillows in the room seem a bit unnecessary and take up too much space. Maybe one would be enough. 😅

Excellent location! The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast spread they put on was a real treat as well! Our room was nicely done with a sink, kettle and fridge. We had an issue with our room but the staff were fantastic and sorted it quickly and compensated us more than what we had expected.

The projector TV was cool but you couldn’t watch it in the day unless you closed all the blinds. I don’t think there were enough bathrooms for the amount of rooms and guests, only one male and one female one per floor. No lift - just stairs!

I loved the clean, tidy, comfortable room that I stayed in. For the price you pay, when booking a private double room, this place provides excellent value for money. In the room there is a desk, sink, window, bar fridge, bed, and projector. The bathrooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

On balance there isn't anything I didn't like. bearing in mind that this is a budget option and a hostel, it is a good deal for the money spent. Is it perfect? No. Though, if you're looking for clean and comfortable on a budget, then I can recommend Cozy M as a good option based on my experience.

The breakfast was very minimal. Toast, cereal, a tiny muffin. I didn’t see anything substantial on offer, so I ate it (lots of great options nearby) But this honestly didn’t bother me - I wasn’t banking on free food. There were some people eating there so if you’re traveling on a budget then free coffee and basics is probably ghelpful

I liked it all

The room was very cozy and had all of the little amenities that make a stay nice. The shared bathrooms were very clean and well stocked with extra shampoo, conditioner and soap. I liked having a sink in the room for our own use. The breakfast was plentiful and covered all of your basic continental needs. While parts of the neighborhood might seem sketchy, it's actually quite safe and a nice, quiet place to stay.

The staff is very nice. Accomodated all my wishes. My room was small but enough for me. Clean and tidy. I love that I had a sink in my room.

The shared bathroom could be kept a little cleaner especially the shower. The toilet was fine. My room was a little noisy during the morning hours when the garbage truck drove past or when people walked past because my window didn't shut fully. I could barely see it but there was still a gap after I had closed the mechanism.
