Best Western Plus Hotel Stellar

The rooms were comfortable, and well equipped. The WiFi was reliably for keeping on top of work while we were away. The staff were friendly and helpful, with information about the locality, and how to navigate Sydney's public transport. The hotel is across the road from Hyde Park, ideal for Circular Quay and Sydney Harbour. There are plenty of eating and drinking options nearby in Surry Hills and Darlinghurst. There are convenient public transport options to the airport, Bondi and the CBD. There is a cafe on the premises which provides very good breakfast options and excellent coffee.

We did not have any complaints.

We were lucky to get the top floor which was a lot quieter from street noise. Previous stays here we were on the 3rd & 4th floor. Love the 6th floor. We always stay here. It has been our preferred hotel stay in Sydney for many years. We love the location, close to Museum and Central train stations, shops and restaurants. We also like that the room has a kitchenette so we can enjoy having breakfast in our room, a fridge, sink and microwave. Seeing we travel to visit family in Sydney from Perth having a studio with a small kitchen helps keep the costs of eating down. It is also always comfortable and clean with fantastic customer service. Thank you so very much.

Super location ... walking distance to Hay Market and Surry Hill. Even CBD we a little walk down. Located in an area that's convenient and yet quiet. Value for money for the price point paid if one is not looking for a full fledge hotel services

It will be nice if there's room with King and Double size bed in this hotel. This is not available.

Location Very good location. Across Hyde Park, a metro station and bus stop. The majority of the places we visited were within walking distance. Room Was comfortable, clean, and bright due to the street view. Complementary toiletries were provided. The kitchenette was a plus. It had a fridge, microwave, sink, water heater, plates, silverware, and glasses. We had a sofa, a small table, and two chairs. Very useful! Restaurant We truly enjoyed the 'Large & the Veggie Breakfast' options. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Service The staff was friendly, helpful, and available at all times. Price Good price-value ratio.

The pillows were too high/big. There is no ramp at the entrance to roll in the luggage.

room was awesome. super modern, spacious, comfy bed, and kitchenette just like expected (in my 6night stay I used fridge and microwave often). shower very powerful =) complimentary coffee, tea, shampoo and conditioner

the hotel appereance from the street is quite poor, and the reception area very small. Breakfast not included in the price is bad (since the hotel is quite pricey). Still I had breakfast there half of my mornings, and service could be better: they prioritise speed and efficiency rather than well manners that every waiter should have (for instance I ordered 3 items, came all at different times, and I had to claim for the 3rd one as they had forgotten to bring to the table)

It is as spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and the staff were professional and helpful. The cafe/bar staff were friendly and professional, also popular with some of the locals.

They are very strict on the 2pm check in. We arrived in Sydney at 7pm, had breakfast and popped into the hotel and were able to check our bags in which was fine. We were at a bit of a loose end and popped back to the hotel to see if we could check in at 1:15 but the room wasn’t ready. We were given an upgrade and spent a pleasant 45 minutes in the cafe/bar which was fine so really, no complaints.

Best Western Plus Hotel Stellar is located at an excellent location on the edge of the Sydney CBD. I specifically chose this hotel, due to needing a place to stay while getting medical treatment at St. Vincent's Public Hospital, which is less than 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Hotel had all the amenities needed for a longer stay. Very comfortable and super friendly staff. I also loved that I could ChromeCast Netflix from my phone to the TV!

The hotel is professional than Meriton. Communication is great. When fire alarm happened, they gave for customer with late check-out and coffee for free. That is why I book always hotel not a motel or airbnb. Plus, cleaning service is kind and professional. Amenities are quite not good condition but snack and coffee are good for us even they clean our dishes without any asking. Thanks for great time.

Location is fantastic, walking distance to everything you could need, Shopping at Westifield or Pitt St,, Restaurants, Circular Quay Wharf, and a cool night club the Soda Factory just next door!. We got a free upgrade to a better room also which was very generous. We will definitely be coming back.

Not really a big deal because they gave us some straight away, but we got our room cleaned twice and both times they forgot to refill toilet paper. However, on both occasions we got a new roll within 5 minutes of asking.from 2 different members of staff, one of these was at about 2am.

The room was very spacious and quite practical. I found the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning unit worked well and was very quiet, plus there was a window you could open if you wanted a little fresh air. There were also good block-out curtains on the windows, which made the room dark & cosy for sleeping. The bathroom was nice, with a few amenities I didn't expect and appreciated. Good water pressure. The staff were very nice, too. Location was good, not nearly as noisy as I might have expected, though there were a few people being a bit wild outside on the Friday night, and a few sirens, but that's to be expected. The double windows screened out a lot of that sound. I felt safe enough walking back by myself in the (early) evening.

I didn't really have any issues, but make sure you check the time before you go in to do laundry, they close off the power to the washers at 9pm (which is fair enough). The only other thing, and this is mostly funny, I could smell delicious breakfast cooking from the restaurant on the ground floor, and it made me hungry as soon as I woke up! I will try the restaurant next time!
