Mantra Hotel at Sydney Airport

The front-of-desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our studio room was compact, clean, and well-designed for our 3-day stay. Although the room faced the airport only a short distance away, the sound insulation was very good and didn't overly intrude. [Of course, Sydney Airport's nightly curfew also contributes to a good night's sleep! Beat that, Tullamarine!]

The parking lottery! The Mantra not being able to guarantee a paid parking spot will be a big turn-off for me unless we fly to Sydney. We drive 450km to reach the Mantra and not being guaranteed a parking space on arrival (unless we arrive before mid-afternoon) is disappointing. The same uncertainty exists if I use our car for travel from/to the Mantra during our stay. The Mantra's location isn't great for accessing public transport but we enjoyed the walk to rail stations and bus-stops.

Room was small but had everything we needed. Very clean and nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the good food and drinks downstairs at the bar and restaurant. Easy to check in and out. Helpful staff. Very good value. Very happy with our stay. There was even a cushioned bench and picture window at the lifts to watch the planes come and go. We walked from the domestic terminal and followed the signs to the hotel. When you step out of the domestic terminal doors turn right and keep walking. The signs are on posts and painted in blue on the pathway. The walk takes about 10mins.

My wife and I arrived late at the Mascot Mantra due to weather conditions affecting our flight schedule. On arrival the Staff were very professional which made for a very quick check-in. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the room and facilities, particularly the restaurant. Meals were excellent, especially the Steak and Chicken dishes and all meals were reasonably priced. The kitchen and table service staff were always happy and obliging. The Restaurant shift supervisor was excellent and ensured that everyone's needs were met in a timely manner. Overall, our experience at the Mascot Mantra over two nights was a great experience and we will certainly be staying there on our next trip to Sydney.

I didn’t have Breakfast But I ate in the restaurant and I truthfully enjoyed my meals .. Compliments to the chefs the chicken dinner was tender and delicious and the Barramundi was cooked to perfection I am a very fussy eater and I have NO COMPLAINTS at all 😍I was only going to stay one night and I ended up staying Two Nights , the room was very clean and warm… The Staff are all absolutely friendly helpful people they are all a pleasure to speak with 🥰 Twenty Stars 🌟Plus— out of five

The location was excellent - walking distance to the domestic terminal. Considering the proximity of the hotel to the airport, it was very quiet. It was possible to get a coffee from the bar downstairs and the woman made an excellent cup of coffee!

I wish that the restaurant operated for lunch because there is not much else in the area and it was too hot to go walking around!

Restaurant food and staff were great. Check in was good. Location next to the airport and parking were the main reasons we booked the Mantra. Have always had a great experience here.

The staff member at the front desk was unsure about how to book a taxi with a car seat - we didn't end up needing it as we walked but it would have been helpful if he knew how to do it. Their only option is to ring a regular taxi. However, a shuttle bus was offered as well, for $10 p/p.

Receptionists were bright and welcoming. Vivianne was amazing and made our stay memorable with complimentary drinks for 36th Anniversary. Room 802 is perfect for plane watching ✈️🥰 Quick trip to Intl Airport. Thankyou Mantra Team!!

Large Buses dont care about your parked car letting off passengers with their bags right up against our new car was very annoying! Because we could see them from our room! Tell them to pull up at the reception doors!

The location was excellent for walking to the airport, staff were friendly and restaurant was good. Breakfast was great. There was a problem with the booking which staff fixed readily and gave us a better room which made up for the worrying moment.

When you are staying at the motel and book another room a week in advance, at the reception, it was worrying to arrive on that second visit and find that you have no booking. But it was taken care of professionally.

Beds were comfortable and room just great. Got room service dinner, which arrived promptly and was tasty. Was concerned may be noisy so close to the airport but was pleased that could not hear any planes coming in or taking off. Was ideal location for early morning arrival by bus to international airport.

Possibly some options of purchases snacks (ie nuts or chips) but really more than suitable for overnight stay

Great location- a 10 minute walk from the Domestic terminal. We got a $4 (credit card) luggage trolley inside the terminal to wheel the luggage to the Mantra - to stretch the legs after the flight was very good. We returned the trolley in the morning before our outbound flight. On arrival, the single reception staffer was a bit grumpy and rude when she couldn’t retrieve our booking, even though we provided booking. com confirmation document and email. Other staff were fine. Clean room and bathroom and easy checkout and lovely walk back to the Domestic Airport with the trusty trolley, who spent the night in our room. aAlso enjoyed evening meal in restaurant. Great hamburger and Green Thai curry.
