I enjoyed the fact Manly beach Corso town centre and ferry terminal is close and easy to travel round The Sandy Bottom guest House. Brilliantly located! I enjoyed the cleanliness of the property. Andy the manager for guest house was very approachable and helpful with advice and tips on locations round Manly,top bloke. Keep up the good work Andy!

I think sometimes not having a toilet and shower in my room. I completely understood the terms and conditions of the room I was staying in. In reality it wasn't much of a problem for me. Fully recommend The Sandy Bottom guest House.

Close proximity to the beach and broad walk. The main shopping precinct is only 10 minutes away, and the ferry terminal is 15 minutes. The ceiling fans were a welcome addition. The manager is a decent bloke and very approachable.

This is definitely budget accommodation, so l knew to expect nothing fancy. Simple improvements could include hooks on the walls or behind the doors to hang clothes. Servicing the bathrooms & toilets twice a day in the morning and afternoon as opposed to once a day would make the batroom experience much better and give an opportunity to top up the toilet paper.

Excellent location, charming character, quiet room, pleasant decor, kettle and fridge in the room, helpful and friendly management, daily cleaning services, well equipped kitchen with pleasant sitting area, relaxed atmosphere, nice seasonal Christmas Tree deco, close to beach, easy walking distance to mall, shops, churches, ferry and bus stops.

Bathrooms can get messy and could be cleaned more thoroughly and frequently.

For us it was a great location. It was close to the main part of Manly, but not noisy. It was also very close to the buses that we used every day to go up to different parts of the Northern Beaches coast. Also really close the beach. The host was very friendly and informative.

It was all good. We were looking for a quiet comfy bed and being able to get a good night sleep. We achieved this.

The place was cute and comfy in a perfect location (very close to the beach).The kitchen had everything you need and the bathroom facilities were also good. Host Andrew is an extremely friendly and helpful person! He helped us a lot with our travel plans and was always there when we needed something. A really great service that we’ll forever be thankful for!

Clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable and convenient. I only stayed for the one night and although the room was a little small it was all I needed and had a tv, bar fridge, a view of the ocean and a nice window to let in the fresh air. Andrew the manager is a nice guy and was easy to get a hold of should I needed to ask a question or 2, thanks Andrew.

The hostel is literally 30 seconds from the main beach and few minutes walking to reach the Corso. Big kitchen to cook. Andy, the manager, it’s absolutely the best person to have around. Always happy to have a chat and to give you suggestions on Manly and much more.

Large, clean room ; very comfortable bed., friendly informative manager. Amazing position, close to Manly beach (1 min walk at end of street). Close to restaurants and public transport.

Guest house/back packers rely on kitchen cleanliness of other guests. It wasn’t bad during my visit. You need to be flexible. Very good for price and position

Andrew, the manager, is genuinely interested in the Wellbeing of the guests and is gentle, kind, and super helpful. I would definitely go back for future stays because of Andrew's amazing attitude to life and his work. Also Perfect location :)

The position was great, a block from the beach, less than 10 minute walk o the Manly Ferry, laundromat close by, several op shops in walking distance :). Price was good for the location.

My room was facing the petrol station so there was a little bit of noise.
