The Sebel Sydney Manly Beach

Location, room size and staff are all wonderful.

Rooms in the South Tower are really looking old and worn, the carpet and sofa were particularly old and stained. My room wasn't serviced after my first night, which is not a big deal but it would have been nice to return to a neat space. The bed was comfortable enough but as it was comprised of two singles that were pushed together they kept rolling apart leaving a gap in the centre which was not great for sleeping. The lack of powerpoints by the bed, or places to charge your phone close by while sleeping is also a bit inconvenient. Some small upgrades would make a big difference to a stay. Having to ask for simple amenities like a shower cap and sanitary bags is also annoying. For the prices being charged, it would be nice to still receive these items to use during a visit.

Helpful staff, alllowing early check-in for ourselves and guests to get ready for wedding. Thank you. 1 Bedroom Apartments with Oceanview were perfect size, location, and well resourced. Room attendant knocked on room regularly to see if we needed extra towels, coffee etc. Close to everything we needed for a 2 to 3 day stay, including restaurants, coffeeshops, ferry terminal, supermarket etc.

The parking area was very small. After reading reviews, we brought our smaller car, and so pleased we did. We left our car in the garage, and went by taxis for the duration of our stay. The hotel permits double parking, but there are times when the Reception is not manned overnight, and you would need to be aware that you may not be able to get your car out. Disappointed the restaurant is not owned by the Sebel and therefore does not open for breakfast. It was a wonderful location, and it would be perfect even if it only opened for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe a good idea in the future.

We stayed there for my daughters wedding. She was in room 702 & 703 & I had 404. They booked there honeymoon night there as well & I kept asking John were they would move to so we could move everything out of her room before we left for the church. He was quick to give my daughter & her new husband the room straight across the hall so we could just put all our stuff in there & go to the church. We also left a few thing behind called them & they moved it all over for us. In this busy time for us the staff were amazing. Thankyou again

You couldn't buy any alcohol from the restaurant next door to take away. I wanted to take a bottle of bubbly for the girls. My brother also stayed there & said the same.

The location was excellent! We also appreciated the room configuration in the family room, the refrigerator and the balcony. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

The room felt pretty well worn and not as comfortable as it could have been. We were really looking forward to unpacking this part of our trip, but the room had no drawers or cupboards to store anything in, only a few hangers in the closet which was nowhere near enough for four people. Also, the queen bed only had two flat pillows on it at check in so we had to ask for more to make the bed more comfortable for sleeping and sitting. Lastly, for the price, it would be nice to have a decent coffee maker like a nespresso. There were only packets of instant and most were decaf. The tea selection however was really nice.

Central location, easy to find. And parking availability. Staff professional and efficient.

Option to have breakfast in the hotel either in restaurant or the option of room service not available. My husband has a medical condition and the requirement to travel to the very nice venues available on the strip was challenging for him and me. Your facility is central, but should I opt to stay at another time a dine in option would influence my booking choice.

The location near Manly beach and shops is fantastic. The front desk staff were also great. Very useful having parking for such a busy location.

We are Australians who live in the USA and travel a lot in the USA, Australia and Europe. The Australian accommodation market is vastly overpriced for what you can get elsewhere in the world for the equivalent price. The standard of things like room fittings and the pool and surrounds are fine but they are not the quality we can get elsewhere for the same price.

Always love staying at the Sebel. Manly is such a beautiful place !

Beds are not that comfy unfortunately :/ It was also a fourth time staying there so we thought that we would get some discounts or some benefits like not having to pay for parking or an upgrade of the room but it was just a normal stay.

Had a lovely long weekend at the Sebel, which we booked when we still couldn't travel outside Sydney and it made a pretty good plan B for our usual November vacation in Noosa! We had a lovely 1 bed apartment overlooking the ocean with balconies on two sides. The Sebel is close to Manly for restaurants but far enough away to not get the noise at night.

Rooms of this quality don't come cheap and the price is pretty steep. The gym and on-site restaurant are still closed due to COVID and renovations. The pool area is a bit basic. But otherwise it was great.

Riley who greeted me at the front desk was a super star as he assisted my colleague in getting a room as he unexpectedly had to stay the evening in manly. Riley also took time to show us to our rooms and explain the facilities / area to us ! He was a legend

location, view to beach and spacious suite loved the pool!

had to ask to replenish coffee, tea, sugar, milk, toilet paper. small things were overlooked such as light flickering in bedroom, not changing sheets daily, floors were quite dirty after a couple of days and not washed.
