Das Gutenbrunn Thermen & Sporthotel

The bed was very comfortable. The shower gel, shampoo and handwash in the bathroom had good smell, the body lotion was very smooth. At the reception you can buy them also, so we did. The breakfast had wide sortiment, we could choose from a lot of thing. Especially we liked the cheeses. We were searching for peace and silence and we found here. It is very comfortable that in bathrobe we could walk through to the thermebad. In the evenings we tried the games in the hotel, there are different board games, billiard, etc. The stuff was very kind and helpful. The furniture and decoration in the common places are really crazy-designed and funny!

We had two rooms. A double superior and a junior suite. In the junior suite (room 317), I had to wait more than 5 minutes for the shower to get warm. Although the bathroom in the junior suite was very big, the bath tub was very narrow and unconfortable (and I am a small guy)

Everything. It’s a historic hotel, where even Beethoven spent a summer. It is very interesting decorated. The room was large and clean and the view over a beautiful park was amazing. The breakfast was rich, with many options to choose from. The bar was open all night and you could take whatever you wanted “on trust”, writing on a small paper the drink and the room number. That’s a very nice approach. The spa was nice, the entire hotel is a very interesting experience.

Maybe more details about the parking place and the rate for it. There are some parking places in front of the hotel, not enough though. But you can leave the car in the Rommertherme Parking and you get a parking ticket with a special price at the reception. You have to pay also the parking place in front of the hotel.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the price included admission to a spa next door (connected to the hotel via an enclosed passageway). The hotel is a very short walk to the Badener Bahn, a local train that takes you right to the center of Vienna. The staff was helpful. The place is a little quirky (in a good way), and includes a self serve bar that you pay for drinks via the honor system.

There is limited onsite parking that costs extra.

Everything! The hotel is in a wonderful park, peaceful and quiet. The hotel has an excellent bar, very interestingly decorated, where you can get drinks at great prices 24 hours a day. The entire hotel has a very pleasant, homely atmosphere. The room is large, spacious, bright, comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is perfect! The thermal baths with which the hotel is connected are excellent, clean, the water is warm and clean. We could stay here forever!

We had to stay only 3 nights 😢

The Breakfast was absolutely top notch. The baked goods were delicious, the scrambled eggs were perfect, and there was an exceptional selection of fresh cut fruit, muslix, cereals, jams, chia seed pudding, overnight oats...pretty much everything you could want. The room was large, clean, and well laid out. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The access to the thermal bath spa was convenient. I felt like I almost got my money's worth from the breakfast and the spa access alone.

Weirdly, the room felt a bit cool during the day, but too warm during the night. (No temperature controls that I saw.) There is only one, small, slow elevator; it's a building old enough to have had Beethoven stay there for a year.

Everything was great, we visited the hotel already in the past. The staff is nice, facilities are great, breakfast is exceptional. Room was comfortable. The entrance to therme directly from the hotel is one of the best features.

During our stay, a fire alarm went off by accident. It took the management quite some time to solve the situation, as there is no one at the reception in the evening. Therefore, all the guests needed to wait outside for the arrival of the fire fighters, which is quite annoying in the winter.

Everything is perfect: room, breakfast, service, and location.

Only one upset: too many people in the pools on weekends in violation of all sanitary standards (honestly, I'm not familiar with the Austrian sanitary standards, but I'm sure the number of people in the pool at the same time should be limited).

We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed the hotel a lot. Hotel makes you feel yourself like you are at home, an atmosphere inside, pleasant aroma, nice bar with billiard, friendly stuff service and especially we want to thanks a lot to the front desk lady Valeria , she is so nice to talk with!) Spa centre is also very nice with lots of different facilities to relax and pretty good restaurant inside. We also enjoyed the room and breakfast was super as well! To conclude we are feeling satisfied and looking forward to come back some day again:)!

Lovely hotel (unique and charming at the same time)w. great ambiance, surrounded by beautiful green park. Very attentive reception staff. Hotel has an easy access to the pool/hot spring bath area though attached corridor. Baden is a lovely small town with a lots of beautiful parks, garden, small bakery's, coffee shops, just hour shy from Vienna w/ so much to admire and 30 mins away from a great shopping at Voesendorf. For sure we'll be returning:)
