staff was kind and helpful. Provided lots of assistance and support for non-Chinese-speaking guests. The lobby was spacious and clean. The room was big and the reception employee upgraded to a room with a better view free of charge. All in all, very pleasant staying experience with Fairmont Hotel. Will definitely recommend it to friends.

Room service was so-so. The mini bar did not have beers. On the first day, the bottles of beer ordered to our room were not cold. Did not provide bottle opener. Also, the beers were very expensive compared to other similar star hotels, RMB 55,- for a bottle of 0.33L Tsingtao.

We were treated royally and would not hesitate to recommend this to other International travellers. The reception was extremely kind on our arrival to upgrade the rooms booked - not just my wife & I but also our children who had never stayed in such a luxurious size room. Thoroughly appreciated and a superb gesture. Additionally, reception were able to arrange twin beds for our children's room who had no interestnto share a bed. The hotel's ambassador Ping Wang was amazing in going way beyond her call of duty and personally walked us to a nearby recommended restaurant.

Excellent position, 5 minutes walk from Yonganli Metro Station. Nice and clean room. Staff was helpful and kind, special props to Eric!

I think they are just coming back to have overseas guests, so maybe the staff is not complete yet. I had some calls to the In room service where the staff could not speak english and I had to wait for someone who could and call again but sometimes they did not call me back, I had to. Not a huge problem though! I honestly thought the quality of the western food for breakfast (especially baked products) was very bad.

Very friendly and english speaking personnel. Prompt response for dine in room service. Exceptional facilities in the room bathroom fittings, bed room, humidifier etc., Located in a centralised region !

The staff speaks only Chinese. You can order anything through a voice translator, which must be downloaded in advance. Google Translator, as you know, does not work.

We did ask for a change of room which was quickly organised - only because the a/c fan was a little noisy. The alternative room was perfect, so no complaints!

My room was very spacious and comfortable. It was beautiful and the bed was super large and comfortable. I loved the bathroom, which had a nice and relaxing bathtub with all the amenities. The lighting in the room was also great and could be adjusted to fit my mood, which I also appreciated since I sometimes get migraines and need to have dimmer lights. The room service was good and easy to order, available from the hotel's restaurants and brought to my room within 25 minutes each time. All the staff were friendly and readily available to answer any questions I might have.

For the price of my stay, I thought that when I booked that my breakfast was included. It was not. I ended up having to pay 88RMB for breakfast, which is not a lot. The breakfast was okay as it was a buffet. It was mostly Chinese-style breakfast with an egg station and a few western options like bacon, sausage and thin crisp waffles. The rest was very Chinese, which is not bad and I definitely enjoy eating but I would have hoped that it would be more of a variety for the breakfast to be not included in the price of the hotel.

The staff were really helpful all the time. We had a problem with one tour and the staff helped us to find an alternative. Shout out to the concierge! The facilities were amazing and we had a very nice stay at the Hotel.

Stayed here a few times now, and each time it gets better and better. All the staff are just lovely and very accommodating! A big thanks to Yummy for helping me with some birthday treats for my boyfriend...again all in the service which I can’t fault. Our room as always was very clean and spacious, and the bed is so comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone 👍
