Grand Mercure Beijing Central

Central location close to the shops and restaurants and two subway stations. So ideally linked to some famous attractions. Gave us water bottles every day so no need to buy any, there’s a 24 hour convenience store next door, a built in Starbucks, nice swimming pool. Quiet dark rooms at night.

Nice if the bar opened a little later than 10pm as there’s not much for night life in the area for a drink.

Beautiful location. 5 minutes walk to the Xidan shopping malls; 15 minutes walk to National Opera House; taxis anywhere usually take you onto Chang'an Avenue. Perhaps an analogy is Columbus Cirle in NYC--except that the Financial District and the Ministries are also just minutes away. Great swimming pool. Elegant interiors. Very helpful staff. This hotel has been among my top choices in Beijing for years.

This was a business trip, hotel was selected due to its near positiono to our meetiings. In general ok Clean and comfortable Breakfas also quite good. Extremely close to metro station

Totally satisfied with all that was offered for us . Hotel staff is very polite and kindness, clarified and explained all that we did not understand , helped with taxi booking and offering the place we can visit through registration in WeChat . The breakfast was delicious . Bathrooms towels were clean and items were qualitative.

A good shower and comfy bed. This hotel used to be near the south Beijing railway station although the station had been moved to a new location. With heavy traffic now the norm in Beijing I would leave at least two hours to get to the southern railway station from this hotel.

great location between 2 subway lines, very close to the shopping district, helpful staff, lovely pool and facilities, and even gave me and my wife a treat for our birthdays…..highly recommend !

Wifi didn't work very well for us as kept cutting out Couldn't adjust air con .... so room at times too hot

Excellent and inexpensive hotel in the city center. Conveniently located relative to the main attractions. Nice pool. Great breakfast. The manager at the restaurant, Tina, is very friendly and ready to help. Thanks to the staff for promptly resolving the issue of an extra bed for a child.

the furnishing if the room is old and need renewal only 1 restaurant in the Hotel and the time is opening time is very limited .
