Guo Ji Yi Yuan Hotel

The hotel is great, comfy, clean and in an excellent location. But I give such an outstanding review mainly because of the helpfulness of the staff. Now in Beijing it is very difficult for tourists without a Chinese sim card to reserve places in tourist attractions or for shows. Entrance to most tourist attractions and sights in Beijing is severely limited. The hotel staff, and especially the manager with the business suit and black tie (I do not remember his name) went out of their way to help me. I am deeply thankful and will recommend this hotel to anyone.

It would be nice to have breakfast and/or restaurant in the hotel. But there are plenty of good eating options outside, especially in that super nice pedestrian street.

The breakfast was good with a lots of choices. The location was also very good.

We found a lots of dust in the room. Also, the room was very warm and it was not possible to use the A/C or to open the windows.

That location is amazing. Within less than 100m you’ll reach the shopping district with lots of food options. Reaching popular attractions like forbidden city, etc. is very easy.

Overall experience is quite average including the breakfast etc. bathroom had quite old fittings and hot water supply was limited to stipulated hours because of the maintenance

Excellent location, kind and respectfull staff, complete silence during the night, nice breakfast. I can only recomment this place.

Once my breakfast table was fully cleaned when I only went for drink, also return envelope was throun away in thought this was rubbish. Bit this can happen anywhere and has no impact on overall evaluation.

The location is great close to the subway and from wangfujin street. Room was clean and big enough.

Pool wasn't available at the time i was there, but was informed about it when I booked. No real issue with the hotel. Breakfast is, I think, overpriced compared to other hotel in the area.

The Crowne Plaza was wonderful. When we first arrived the manager and the staff were fantastic and gave us an early check in. They offered coffees and helped us complete the health kit. Particular thanks to the concierge Mike Guo who was just fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and helped us arranged everything. He even gave us his wechat so that we could contact him if we needed to. I can't wait to go back and visit Beijing again and 3 days was not long enough. We will definitely book this hotel again. Highly recommended

Very nice interior and location.

The wifi almost didn't work, but I realized it wasn't the hotel fault. Internet has restrictions in China and doesn't work good with western apps and web's.

Interesting to stat at the first Crowne Plaza hotel in East Asia. The staff were really friendly. It's good being part of the free reward programme as it allows for a free welcome drink and other benefits. The bar was really nice and a tasty glass of red wine and a really good happy hour.

the food at the restaurant was pretty average and not particularly good value. went to the peking duck level 2 restaurant.
