Hotel Continental

The Continental in Brno is a remarkable 11-floor icon of a hotel in classic modern style. It has been tastefully refurbished and carefully modernized, with many appliances being both functional and elegant in design. The staff is attentive, competent, and friendly. The huge breakfast hall with its strict layout and orderly design is impressive, and most products on offer looked excellent to us. The location is central, there is a large garage below the hotel, and the view from the higher floors across the city is perfect.

The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She did her best to make me feel like home during my stay at hotel Continental, Brno. The breakfast was delicious. Tee and coffee menu for breakfast is worth a special compliment. The room was spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable. From the upper floors of the hotel one can enjoy a beautiful panorama view of Brno and its vicinities. And there is plenty of space for car park besides the hotel.

The location was absolutely perfect. Close to the dormitory where my younger sister was staying, close to an albert (supermarket) and also close to the actual city. The bed was nice and soft, great pillow and blanket. I slept really well. The toilet and shower are separate, so that was also rather convenient. And the breakfast was delicious.

The exhaust fan will automatically turn on whenever you turn on the light of the shower area or the light of the toilet. If I'm just going to brush my teeth, I don't need the exhaust fan to be on.

This is a hotel I know and like and always use when working in Brno. The rooms are nice, clean, the bathrooms perfect, beds comfortable and you are in the very city center. The bonus is the check-out at 12:00 and one of the best breakfasts I've experienced included in the price of the room. I strongly recommend the hotel.

This is really minor but it's good to be prepared. The spaces for cars in the garage are extremely narrow, so an inexperienced driver would not be able to park when the garage is full (especially if your car is bigger than a Mini).

Spacious, comfortable bed, panoramic view, friendly staff.

The space in the breakfast corner is really small and the guests have problem to move or to get to the food. I would remove some tables and shift the paravan. For the category and the price I expected a better breakfast, also at least free jacuzzi and sauna when there is no swimming pool. The system of the cards to the room is not robust and the guests need to go often to the reception and refresh the data on the card in order to get to the room.

Location was very good for exploring center of Brno; not too far, not in the middle of action-packed center (and there were open air concerts all over the place during our stay). Undergroung parking was a nice thing. Room was also quite good, clean, with huge shower cabin. Also big plus for a/c. I expect you can get good views from upper floors. Staff was really friendly, and I recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Loud fans in the bathroom & toilet, really inconvenient. Soundproofing between the rooms also not ideal. Breakfast was okay'ish, but I don't appreciate some items (pancakes) running out of stock after half an hour. If people like them, it's a good idea to bring more, hmm?

Check-in was completed swiftly, and successfully and all done with a friendly smile. The hotel room was more than big enough for two people, with the beds being lovely and comfortable. We quite liked the idea of the bathroom and toilet facilities being separate too. Breakfast was just great, with lots and lots of choices of hot and cold food, all filled up swiftly if anything became empty. The hotel is ideally located within 5 minutes of the old town (Liberty Square) and is easily accessible from the bus/train station (about 10 minutes walk). There are plenty of restaurants and bars within 5-10 minutes walk either towards the old town or away in the opposite direction if you are looking for something a little more local. Nothing to dislike. These guys have everything covered to make your stay a great one.

Excellent view from the room. Very clean. Little retro eqipment (family appartment) but well kept, good condition. Two private (very nice) bathrooms. Both bathtub as well as shower. Minibar with reasonable prices. Nice breakfast restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Good loacation.

Buffet style breakfast was perfect. My co-worker asked for scrambled eggs and staff made it without any kind of hesitation. Room was okay, a bit kind of heritage from the 2000s. It was clean, WC was separated from bathroom. Bed was not soft, but it is a big positive feedback, because this is my personal preference. The hotel located on the north of the city center in a walking distance.

Bed was not wide enough, but was okay.

dinner. I arrived around 8 pm and wanted to eat dinner at the restaurant. I asked if I can order main dish, and I was told it's ok. I ordered the meal to find out that it was disgusting microwaved food. I would appreciate this information in advance, that they do not have kitchen chef but microwave food, I would have ordered cheese and bread or salad instead.
