Hotel Rakovec

Really nice location next to the lake, clean rooms and not so far from the city center. There is a spa too which you can go in for an extra price. It is worthwhile if you want a little swim, time to relax in the jacuzzi and time in the sauna.

We had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to check us in, but It looked like they was really busy. We also did not realise that children was allowed in the spa area. We probably would not have booked it if we knew, as screaming children running around kind of kills the relaxed vibe.

Location on the lake shore, quiet and decent 3-star hotel, with very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good, from muesli to beans porridge and everything between. Room really well maintained, bathroom recently renovated and superbly clean, bed is very comfy. Everything went well, we had a good rest and would come again.

The upper floor where the rooms are, is only accessible by stairs, which made it difficult for us as we could not use the baby stroller. Also no ramps from hotel parking through to the reception, stairs only.

Again, I did not visit this hotel by myself, I booked it for my technologically challenged brother and his equally technologically challenged colleague (they really travel a lot, but neither of them can fathom online booking), they were absolutely thrilled about Hotel Rakovec! They loved the hotel itself, its fantastic location, and the breakfast, which, in their opinion, was outstanding and it was included in the price! I am obliged to extend my deepest gratitude and warmest regards to the receptionist who stayed for more than an hour after her shift ended, waiting for them to arrive and check in!!! To conclude, Hotel Rakovec is a wonderful place and is absolutely recommended!

very good continental breakfast, clean new wellness (sauna, jacuzzi, pool, extra paid), very friendly staff everywhere, very good restaurant for dinner in place, warm rooms - the temperature makes them actually comfy eventhough they are really not the newest :-)

stayed in "bungalow", the old ones. Everything is like 10-15 years old, not 100% clean. Smelly bathroom until we watered the discharge canal in the floor. But well, positives overweight negatives really. If you stay at the room only between spa/dinner and great breakfast (and water the canal immediately after your arrival!!!), then it is completely OK!

The hotel has a wonderful location, with a nice view to the lake. The rooms are simple, but clean, a correct 3*. The breakfast it's good and the SPA it's just great. It has a small pool and a jacuzzi, plus 2 saunas: a wet sauna and a dry sauna. It has also a free parking. The staff it's very helpful and welcoming and the bonus of the stay was the room with a view to the lake. Great price-quality ratio.

The mattresses and pillows are not bad, but it could be even better. In rest, everything was very good.

Beautiful view, the hotel is right next to the dam. Beds were extremely comfortable, we had troubles to get up and leave them. I enjoyed the breakfast, there was literally everything - cereals, yoghurt, eggs, sausages, bacon.. We were also shocked by prices at the restaurant, the meals didn't cost much and one serving would feed little village. Also bowling and welness was fun. If we ever visit South moravian region again, we will choose this place to stay at.

The restaurant was closing at 10pm.

Nice location, good room, great Internet speed, very clean and comfortable bed and pillow.

All the TV channels were translated or spoken in the local language. Be aware if you will stay over Saturday and Sunday the Reception and the breakfast at the restaurant will be opened at 8.00!

Staff was helpfull, breakfast was very nice and tasty, restaurant food was delicious, room had lovely view. Hotel was clean, wifi was free and good, parking was in front of the hotel, dog friendly, overall it was very pleasant stay.

Shower head was bit old and leaky and it would be little bit more comfortable, if the double bed was one piece, not two beds with a gap in between.

Wonderful place and very good internal restaurant

It was a pity that the external swimming pool was still closed. About internal swimming pool, perhaps could be proposed during booking and not after arriving there

Place was very good our windows of the room had lake view, The accommodation was clean and comfy and modern and the breakfast was delicious. With some walk and using public transportation the city center is easily reachable.
