Esplanade Prague

Location of the hotel was good and the porter on the door worked hard to help us in every way you could.

Having stayed in 5 star hotels elsewhere, this does not compare. The hotel is nice but tired and when you are expecting and paying for a 5 star, this was disappointing.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional. I had contacted them through Booking.com on several occasions to confirm travel restrictions due to the Covid situation and each time their reply was quick and informative. The hotel is beautiful. A step back in history with a lovely breakfast under a spectacular chandelier. Some beautiful glassware to purchase from reception and some wonderful pieces of history on display. Location is perfect, a short walk from the main square, which is ideal to if you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle. Right opposite the Metro for anyone wishing to get there via that method. The beautiful opera house could be seen from our room.

It was a shame the restaurant and bar weren't open, but we were fully aware of this prior to making the booking. A wonderful addition for a 5 star hotel would be robes, slippers and hot drinks facilities in the room. Perhaps also a wider selection of cereals to accommodate children more.

So close to the station, reachable within 5 minutes walking. Surrounded by nice sites to see. Friendly stuff and so comfy pillows 😁

The prices don’t match the service and it doesn’t seem to be 4 stars hotel. No room service or bars available in the evening.

a little sad the bar closed early upstairs everyday and the downstairs bar was fully closed

This is a fine hotel; comfortable and clean and in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

The walls between rooms were not good at keeping out noise from the adjacent room, where a TV and people speaking could be heard late at night.

The bar not being open!!!! I emailed the property after finding out (reading reviews) that the hotel bar, although advised in your literature that the hotel bar was being opened to customers in March, is still closed, you need to advise current/ potential guests of this

Breakfast was good, lots of choice. Prague is stunning

This was my second stay at Hotel Esplanade, but first time with dogs. It is a beautiful hotel! Decorated beautifully and the beds are very comfortable! The location is perfect for walking the whole New Town/Old Town area. The staff is wonderful! I love the the rain shower and balcony in the Executive Room, and onsite parking. Also across the street from a park and dog friendly!

The room and hallways smelled like kitchen in the mornings. It was enough to make me nauseous. The heat is on and we had no control over the wall unit, so had to have the window open all the time, and that made it noisy at night. The room coffee is part of the mini bar and they charge for it, and they charged extra for a cappuccino at breakfast. Using the rain shower would flood the floor, but the hand wand shower was tiny and low.

The hotel is beautiful and decadent. The staff are attentive and friendly. We booked into a standard room and the room was spacious and elegant. The bed was extremely comfortable. Good buffet selection for breakfast. Special gratitude to the concierge gentleman and young waitress at breakfast. Hotel conveniently situated to the city main shopping high street and amenities. Would recommend this hotel and in my opinion, it was value for money.

The only thing negative thing about staying in the hotel was that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. For a 5 star hotel, i would of expected that as standard.
