Almanac X Alcron Prague

The room we got was bigger than I expected and the bed itself was very big. Everything in the room was very comfortable from bathroom to bed. The location couldn't have been better, in a little side street from a big square. A lot of restaurants, shops and attractions were just a few minutes walk away. I must also recommend the Alcron bar which is part of the hotel. The staff there was extremely friendly with excellent drinks!

The team were so friendly and caring; they went above and beyond to help me with a late check-out due to a flight cancellation. I do not write hotel reviews often, but this place was great; facilities and rooms were new, stylish and clean. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else next time I am back. Thank you for the hospitality.

I usually don't give solid 10/10's but in this case everything was superb. The staff went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I initially had a interconnecting room with a loud neighbor, but I was moved to a more spacious and quiet room with an amazing balcony view. I would personally like to thank Peter as he did a great job in providing me with all the things I needed (even where to eat, go, and what to avoid in Prague). The location was superb, quiet but a 2 minute walk from Wenceslas Square. Old town was approximately a 7 minute walk.

A Prague staple in the 5-star category, the historic Alcron property recently underwent a complete renovation and is now welcoming guests under the Almanac X chain. The rooms were refreshed and modernized while retaining their previous comfort and spaciousness. Amenities and staff are on point and location still can't be beat: merely 200 meters from all the action, yet tucked just the right distance away to ensure a quiet night's sleep. Lastly, the superb bar remains largely unchanged, offering excellent craft cocktails and a wide selection of bottled booze. Be sure to drop by for a pre-dinner aperativo.

Alan at front desk was great! Super helpful guy! Overall hotel is very good, we had no issues at all during our stay.. 1) Room was upgraded on arrival to a bigger room which was great since we were traveling with our son and required an extra bed, which unlike other hotels was provided free of cost as well.. 2) We were told on enquiry, that construction noise will not bother us or disturb our sleep and it did not! It's not visually appealing when you enter the hotel, but that's all. 3) Staff helps you with the luggage, which is not common for Europe in my opinion. 4) Extra bed us set up before our check in. 5) We requested late checkout and Alan came to the rescue again! 6) Location is great, walkable from most places of interest and train stations not too far either.

1) Only thing I would say is, when we entered the room, there was dust in the corners of the room, as if it had not been cleaned for a while. Even the wardrobe were dusty. This actually put me off a bit. I mentioned this to Alan at the reception and then they got it cleaned.. however the bed and the linen were super clean. 2) No complementary drinking water or tea/coffee. I can't understand why a hotel of such potential, which keeps attracting negative reviews because of this one fact doesn't wanna change themselves.

The location is very good, its near the old town.

The staff, poor english, missunderstanding, we didnt book breakfast we wanted to enjoy p Outside, but we wanted to dring our first coffee in the hotel,the hotel itself doesnt have like a place wher you can drink onlu coffee or juice, u have to go to the dining area and they ask you for room number (than you have to explain yourself that you want only coffe and to charge u with card, and whsn finally we sat for coffee one lady came barely understanding on top of that was rude. They should work on tbeir stfarr attitude and english speaking.

the staff were cheerful and polite, nothing was to much trouble, rooms were modern and bed was very comfortable, The Hotel was renovated early 2023 and is a beautiful Art Deco building. location is perfect for exploring the city and for business purposes. we upgraded to a balcony which was well worth the extra cost

more variety at breakfast on the cooked menu to include meats other than Pork and Gluten free bread didn't seem to be available.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was really nice and friendly. You felt taken care of. The hotel is newly renovated.

The beds were great but a little on the stiff side for what I prefer, but I feel that that is the case with most hotels. Otherwise everything was really good.
