Unitas Hotel

The bathrooms are great, large Tub/showers. Beds are comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Very clean overall.

The rooms have A/C, it states 16 C but it felt more like 19-20 C.

The location was close to Charles Bridge and walkable to tourist sights. The breakfast dining and facilities were great for families. The staff was friendly and welcoming, with late afternoon/early evening snacks in the lobby if you timed your visit right. It was an older building but with lots of charm and beautiful features that made it feel like a fancy house. The location was safe and quiet, near police offices.

The ac did not cool the room as much as we would like, perhaps due to the high ceilings, but it was appreciated that the hotel did have ac.

AMAZING location, it doesn’t get more central than this. Amazing comfortable and very spacious rooms. Great pillows and well working minibar. 24/7 reception. They deposit our luggage for free for 10 hours, after checking out. They even serve small refreshments at the reception in the afternoon. There is AC and elevator. No prepayment needed. Accepts cash at check in.

No shampoo in the bathroom; only available at reception. Expensive parking (but same applies in all central Prague). The shower was complicated to use because the water temperature kept changing and the pressure was not amazing. However, the rest of the group (other room) had no issue, so not a general performance.

It’s a very nice hotel in the centre of the old town. Rooms are clean, big and very comfortable.

WiFi is working but it often disconnects and slowly reconnects. Speed is mostly ok but not enough to watch netflix. I just stopped using it and shared mobile internet. Again it’s working but not excellent. It’s a little bit strange that you have only one key for apartment. They provide a service that you can leave the key at lobby when you go out. It was ok for us because we walked almost always together but could be an issue when one already at apartment and sleeping and you have to ring when you came.

Communication with the hotel was easy and they quuickly answered any questions we had in advance. Then, upon arrival they greeted us with a free glass of wine in the lobby while checking us in. The room was ready earlier. Location is great, on a quiet street (right across the street from the police station, so I guess no worries about security 😉), walking distance to the old town and all main things in town. The building is historical (like most buildings in Prague I guess) and beautiful. Towels are changed everyday which is not common in most hotels that we have been to.

Nothing really

The hotel and its staff are wonderful! I had originally booked for three nights and then ended up staying twice as long because the city and Unitas Hotel made for the perfect holiday. Everyone at the front desk has been so friendly and extraordinary helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect with just short walking distance to many attractions and superb restaurants, but also really quiet. The rooms are large (I had a single room, yet it had a big bed and lots of space) and the hotel building has a really interesting historical background. But it also has a really modern atmosphere. There is a quiet courtyard were you can park your car (you should reserve beforehand). The hotel has really beautiful seating areas inside and outside. Everything is super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding and the hotel's staff are very attentive. You can have breakfast until 11 am and check-out time is at 12 - so this was the perfect place for me because I always like to sleep a little longer. Next time I am in Praha, I will definately come back to this hotel!

Ask for a room towards the quiet courtyard if you prefer to sleep with your windows open at night. Although the hotel is located in a rather quiet and safe street, there are bars down the road and it gets really loud throughout the night if your window is towards the street. If you shut the double windows, it numbs most of the noise though.

the location was fabulous, a quiet street, local feeling (with police station!). the staff were delightful and the glass of of local sparkling on arrival was a very nice touch! We could walk everywhere then come back to a quiet, comfortable room. We felt really at ease here, sometimes hotels feel too formal to me. In a city so full of history we also loved that this was an old monastery. We didn’t really need anything from anyone but they always seemed friendly and approachable. don’t forget to allow cash for your hotel tax (payable every where, we just forgot it hadn’t been prepaid)We’d stay again.

Fantastic location. Easy walking distance to wonderful sights, but in a quiet location. The room and bathroom were huge! Beds and pillows comfortable. Staff outstanding. While we only ate breakfast there once it was amazing in quality and selection. I’d definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

The temperature was not reliable. Our room was warmer than we liked (and we enjoy moderately cool) and as a result the heavy comforters that I love were way to hot. The shower nozzle did not work right when mounted on the wall, the head would not stay up so we had to use it as a handheld.

My flight came in very late, and the hotel was kind enough to make sure that there would be someone there so that I could check in at about 2 o’clock in the morning. They had also arranged a shuttle driver, who is waiting for me at the airport, even though my plane was incredibly late. Both of the staff members that I encountered were quite friendly and helpful.

I really wasn’t there long enough to not like anything. As I had mentioned previously, I arrived very late. I was only staying for one night which ended up being a rather short period of time before checkout time.
