MOB HOTEL Paris Les Puces

Hotel is placed in quiet and peaceful suburban area where you will most certainly get some good sleep on your vacation. The hotel room was spotless clean and cleaned every day. The bathroom is large and new. The garden surrounding was great. Nearby is the Paris fleamarket where amazing stuff can be purchased.

The neighbourhood is close to St. Dennis which we found out was the place to be avoided in Paris. We had an early flight and the hotel staff advised us to take an Uber since the #13 metro is not the safest. I wouldn't recomend this hotel to solo female travalers since the neighbourhood looks quiet scary at night and there isn't much street light. During the day it looks like a normal family place.

Loved our three-night stay at MOB hotel. We had booked adjacent rooms (double for us and twin for the tween and teen) and they were actually opposite, which was a shame, but not the end of the world. Rooms were compact, but clean, quiet, well thought out and equipped with nice design details. Sadly, Karlito restaurant was closed while we were there, but we used the outdoor seating to enjoy coffee and pastries for breakfast and had dinner at sister hotel MOB House (round the corner) on our first night, which was great. I imagine there's a fantastic atmosphere when the restaurant, bar, cinema etc are in action. All the staff were fabulous and helpful – the lock on the kids' room was a bit dodgy and they had to keep reprogramming their keys. We liked the location near the amazing Marche aux Puces, a bit further out than we'd usually stay, but an easy bus (no 85) ride in to central Paris from the stop around the corner. We were driving around Europe, so it was really handy to have secure parking.

Would have loved the restaurant to have been open, but that's a good excuse to return! Air con wasn't working properly in one of our rooms on first night, but was quickly resolved when we let reception know.

Loved the decor, courtyard and reception area! Room was great, very clean and the beds very comfortable. We were very grateful for the AC in a very hot August!! Loved the little Mob book with local recommendations too. The restaurant was closed when we were there but it looked like it would be lovely - the courtyard area was pretty magical & great for the kids!! There were chickens on the roof which the kids loved visiting - a great family hotel!!

Our toilet flush was a little broken & kept falling off the wall but otherwise everything was great!

The atmosphere was amazing. Very relaxed and cozy. A lot of locals using the restaurant. A short walk from the Metro station and the huge antique markets. Staff was very informative and friendly. We especially liked the "Karl Marx room". Parking was in garage under the hotel with easy access. All in all - a very nice experience - and yes, we will be back.

The only little thing to remark on was the fact that the hotel from the street is very anonymous. There is a large wooden gate and it's not very clear where to enter with your car (especially when it's poring down :) so it's easily missed.

It’s in a nice building, that is so what of a complex, with terraces, and restaurant. Bed is comfy, and so are the pillows. Having stayed there before, depending on which room you stay in, you will get a different experience. If you walk in the direction of Paris, on certain days there is the dizzying variety of the market, and places for snacks, coffee etc.

Being very British about this, no kettle in the room, but they the have the restaurant downstairs, so it is not serious. It is a little far to get from, approx one hour by tube from Gare de Lyon to Garibaldi. From Gare du Nord, it is a tube trip and walk. If you sightsee in the area there is a surprising amount to experience however.

The whole vibe at the hotel is laid back, quirky and friendly. The layout of the room was great and the bed was really comfortable. Loved the hangers along the wall to set your clothes out on. We ate at the restaurant both in the evening (pizza and pasta) and for breakfast. The fresh bread was amazing and the muffins were the best my son had ever eaten.

Unfortunately the extra bed wasn't ready when we arrived (leading to a small panic that we hadn't selected the correct option when booking!) but a member of staff was soon up to help get it ready, and apparently it was really comfortable too. The lighting is a bit hit and miss too, so you're not sure what you are switching on and off half of the time.

We loved this hotel. A little bit quirky, which added originality, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, sparkling bathrooms ; excellent value for money, easy access to two metro stations to get into Paris, fantastic night's sleep thanks to comfortable mattress and soundproofing. The breakfast was delicious, and I will definitely definitely be staying here again when in Paris. It's a holiday in itself. The concept of the hotel being part of the community is a bonus, as is theview of the interior courtyard, and a church from our window.

Nothing. Everything was wonderful. Parking is expensive at 20 euros a night (in a closed garage) but you definitely need it, as there is nowhere to park nearby and who comes to Paris in a car anyway?! Paris is between 30 and 40 minutes away on the metro (metro's five minutes from the hotel) so possibly too far out if you want to be in the thick of things. However, having stayed in many Parisian hotels, there is NO comparison for everything else and no better value for money.

perfect place to spend a couple of nights.lovely rooms- they put up camp beds for kids in same room, great bathrooms and super restaurant and bar. lovely food and good tunes made staying with tired kids easy. nice pop up shop. really close to flea markets. chickens on the roof a bonus!

a bit too far to walk anywhere but flea markets. we did walk to Momartre but with kids it’s an uphill trek and through some rougher streets. some good restaurants (that are open) in the area and a decent boulangerie so you could choose to eat locally but not at hotel.

The hotel ambience was really nice. The breakfast was so tasty because they serve with organic foods. They have laundry room for free. They have chicken farming which is fun to saw them in rooftop. I wanna say thank you for Sheina if im not mistaken her name, she's from the management team who's took care my issue gently.

The receptionist at that time when i was checked in wasn't professional. He didn't tell me what we would get as a guest. When i used the laundry room, i found the drying machine didn't work and he didn't even told me coz i just got the detergent from him. He didn't introduce us what was the benefits of this hotel then i knew finally from the management team that they have unique things that you can't get others hotel. My room was to small, especially the table, and no kettle.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. The patio / garden is very nice. The styling is also superb. Parking under the hotel is nice. The restaurant is surprisingly good, and so are the (local) beers! Metrostation is only a 5 minute walk

A few small things could be improved: it would be nice if the toilet in the room had a full door, and not a showerdoor with openings at top and bottom. Secondly, it would have been nice if we could have had the window slightly open during the night. But that window was right next to a (quiet) street, and it could not be locked in a slightly open position. So we left it closed.
