Jardins de Montmartre

Twin room was spacious more than what I thought we would have with two shower rooms. I am a frequent traveler and room number 28 was the best twin room I have ever had with my daughter. Highly recommend this 3 star hotel. The housekeeping staff that cleaned our room the first two days was so helpful.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is one of those Parisian hotels with small rooms, but we booked a slightly larger Superior Room and requested a quiet room as well. Our request was very well attended: first we received a confirmation we would be given a quiet room through the Booking.com app and then once there we were indeed given one at the back side of the hotel. I thought this was a model for how a hotel should be dealing with such a request. The room was still not very spacious, but very comfortable with large windows that could be opened and a very good bed, we slept well. The bath room was clean and efficient, also there a large window that can be opened. There is some noise inside the hotel from other rooms (e.g. when toilets are being flushed) and from the corridor. We did not take breakfast in the hotel: the breakfast room is not very appealing and there are countless cafes and bakeries around the hotel where you can have a very nice breakfast in Parisian style. The hotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood close to the Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur. A metro station is closeby, as are many wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants. The personnel is very helpful and friendly, and speaks well English.

As mentioned above, the rooms are not quite sound proof and the breakfast room is somewhat small. But this did not influence our enjoyable stay in any way!

The location was perfect for what we wanted to see--very close to the Jules Joffrin station on the Metro 12 line. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved that the windows opened. The showers were hot, and the water pressure was good. I would and will absolutely recommend this hotel to a friend who was traveling to Paris.

I wouldn't say I "didn't like" anything at all about Jardins de Montmartre. The rooms were small, but we expected that (it is Paris, after all!). Our room was a walk-up, but because we only had to do it with the luggage once, it was all right. Plus, nearly everything is a walk-up in this city! Even though we were on the third floor and tucked away from the common areas, it was also a little noisy outside the room, and although that didn't bother me at all, my travel partner didn't like it in the morning. (He's a late sleeper, though, and the noise didn't start till after most people would have been awake.)

The location (it was close to Sacre Coeur and also close to metros going to the city).

The bed was quite short, my boyfriend is 184cm and his leg was hanging off the bed.

Staff were so helpful and friendly. They helped me with making reservations and gave good tourist recomendatdions. Room was clean all the time and we had multiple fresh towels/bedding etc. Location was also good! Close to Joules Joffrin metro and lots of cute shopping shops & bakeries nearby. Aircon worked well which ended up being essential in the Parisian heat!

The pillow was a large square and not the shape i am used to which gave me a stiff neck. I dont know if all pillows are this shape in Paris? Im sure if i asked for a new one they would have changed it.

The best thing about this hotel is its staff. They are friendly, exceptionally helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean. The power-shower is wonderful. Excellent air-con. The location is close to a metro station and there are plenty of bakeries, cafes and restaurants close by. It is VFM and I would certainly stay there again.

The rooms could do with some improvements to sound-proofing. That said, when I asked for a quiet/er room, they were very obliging. Bathrooms are small, but functional - this is Paris and hotel space is often smaller than elsewhere so this is not really a complaint. But visitors should not expect large rooms/bathrooms.

Perfect location for exploring beautiful Montmarte and only short metro away from centre of Paris. All staff were very welcoming and we never passed any member of staff without receiving a friendly "bonjour". As always with Paris the room sizes a bit small but so clean, comfortable and well presented. Good selection of pastries, cereals, meats, cheeses, fruit and cooked eggs for breakfast.

Some other reviews have said the hotel is noisy. That wasn't my experience but you do get a little noise from the street below. Nothing the hotel can really do about that and guess it just comes with the territory of staying in a city

The location was perfect - I personally would say the best neighbourhood in all Paris, tons of facilities at the corner. The connection to other parts of Paris perfect - just two minutes walk to the metro station and bus station at the door of the hotel. The staff was excellent. The room a bit small, but really clean. The toilet well equiped - just the sink a bit small.

The lift needs to be changed, quite old - but a big help for the rooms in upper floors.

We were very happy with the location (it is very close to the Basilica of Sacré Coeur de Montmartre), lots of restaurants, cafes, flower shops, different other shops, beautiful streets and buildings. It is a touristic place but less touristic than next to Eiffel Tower, for example. More kind of local spirit around. A bus stop right next to the hotel door. Very friendly and helpful staff of the hotel (especially Michael). Great shower (hot water, good pressure. For people from Cyprus, like us, it has it's meaning :) ) A comfy bed, windows can be open to get fresh air, ac working quick and well. A heater in the bathroom for towels.

Bathroom was a bit small in general. Breakfast needs fresh vegetables to be added.

This was a great location. The hotel is very close to the metro, on the backside of the hill in Montmartre. You can walk up to Sacre Cour and all the touristy shops in 10 minutes, but the surrounding neighborhood is pretty chill. Lots of affordable cafes, bistros, boulangeries, markets, etc are nearby. The room itself was clean and had a desk and small closet. The bathroom was actually pretty large for a Parisian hotel. We had a small electric kettle and coffee and tea were provided. I also appreciated that the paper products were all recycled or bamboo.

The room was pretty small, but for the price and location, I didn't expect more. The furniture in the room was a little shabby - bits of the trim were missing on the desk. Everything was still functional though. Although some instant coffee packets were provided, there was only one decaf and one regular per day. What if both people in a double room want caffeine? :) Oddly, there was no power outlet in the bathroom. The closest one was by the mirror just outside the bathroom, but it was near the floor. It was a little awkward to use the hairdryer.
