Campanile Paris Ouest - Nanterre - La Défense

Rooms had individual A/C, Plug is close to beds, table and chair in each room. Complementary liquid soap in bathroom, and hot water kettle and tea/coffee in room. 24 hour reception. Elevator Location: About 15-20 minute walk to the nearest metro (through a park) and then a short trip into Paris Centre (although you need to pay a slightly more expensive fare as Nanterre is outside Paris Centre ~€2.80 vs €1.90). 10 minute walk to a Lidl, 10 minutes in different direction to an Aldi and about 7 minute to a Carrefour - lots of options but take note that they close early (~8pm) and close very early on Sunday.

Room service was a little early (for me) ~10am. Lighting was fairly dim in room - might not be suitable if you had work to do. Location: Shops and restaurants close fairly early in Nanterre - to note if arriving late. You might have limited options to eat out if not travelling to the city.

Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at the property, staff was very welcoming and helpful, assisting us on many occasions. The facilties was really good and the we had a comfortable stay, we would recommend this hotel if your in the area as it is very affordable and comfortable. Everything was lovely but there were some things that could be improved like the selection of food in the buffet as there were not enough variety of food as we hoped for and it left us wanting more. In conclusion, we had a great time staying at this property and we could consider staying here again.

A friendly welcome on my arrival, with clear explanations of hotel policy etc. The room was very clean and the bed comfy, The staff were most helpful and obliging especially when I asked for something that friends I was meeting needed so we could share a celebration together. The staff went "above and beyond". The hotel bar was vibrant, and the bar staff very friendly... I particularly enjoyed their wide range of cocktails. The evenings I was there, there was a super talented cocktail maker working behind the bar, she was very skilled and the cocktails delicious! Breakfasts - wide choice to suit all tastes!

Good location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were really comfy, had a really good nights sleep. You can walk through the park to get the station which is about 20 mins. Breakfast had a good selection of items, including a water bath for your eggs which I’ve not seen before (I would recommend 6 mins for a perfect runny egg!). It’s no 5 star hotel but it was comfortable and a short walk from places to eat, supermarket and other amenities including the arena which is the reason for our stay. Also me and sister were put on the same floor as our family who booked separately, I hadn’t asked so it was a nice touch.

Maybe having vending machines for drinks and things so that the staff don’t always have to get up but that’s no big thing really. Hallways and carpet looked a bit tired.

Friendly and helpful staff; room large and comfortable enough for two people. Comfy bed, nice shower, wifi, tea and coffee, and an inexpensive bar downstairs. Location wise it's within walking distance of the metro, definitely a pluspoint.

The first evening we had made reservations for 8 people for eating at the buffet, and it took an awful long time for food to be ready (quite a few customers were left wondering whether food was already served and eaten). Then it took even longer for a second serving. Drink orders were not correct (order one cocktail, get two different ones). Quality wise the food was definitely ok; quantity wise was not as expected for this price. The burger was tiny, especially compared to the buffet for 2 euro cheaper.

Really cosy room, clean and comfortable and despite the mattresses being a little too hard for my liking, I slept like a baby just because of how snug it felt. Staff were very helpful and polite, room cleaning service was great and overall a lovely stay. Walked about 15 min to get to the train station each time with about 20 min to central Paris via tube. The walk to the train station is a scenic and very secure and safe feeling park that was well lit. Really enjoyed the stroll each morning. As for visiting La Défense it was extremely convenient, an 18 minute walk (just next to the train station) made it super easy to get to the concert we visited for. Safe and easy to get back home from late at night! Added photos of the park directly outside because it was just so charming.

Mattress was a little uncomfortable, but for what it lacked in quality it made up for in emotional comfort and still very easy to have a great nights sleep on.

Nice hotel very clean, quiet and great staff.

Probably the location a bit of a treck to the train station but once you know your way it’s not to bad and only about a 15minute ride into central Paris. However on a real downside the hotel was paid for in advance via the app, I was asked for €50 deposit when booking in, not a problem. However 4 days later I’m still waiting for it to be refunded into my account very poor and disappointing the room was left in good order and I expect my deposit back into my account.

The warm welcome what we got from the evening crew with Juliette was very unique. We have never got such a nice reception in any other hotel in our lives. And we travel a lot so it was really a unique experience. If we go to Paris again, we would definately come back to this hotel. Nice walk through a safe park to the RER station and in a couple of minutes you are in Paris. Parking is safe with a camera surveillance for a small price. Lovely chef in the evening during our stay with lovely freshly made meal for our children. We stayed 2 nights and we ate dinner both times at the hotel. Very friendly cook and makes delicios real fresh french fries too. We loved his cooking style :)

Breakfast for 10+ years old children for an adult price is not feeling right. My daughter ate 1 croissant and a glass of water for 13 euro's.

The staff was especially kind and helpful. Especially Nassima and Benoit, but really, everyone was open and helpful. We had breakfast there one morning and the buffet was OK. The room was a very good size for Paris. It was clean. The area around the hotel made us feel safe. There is parking on site (unusual for Paris.) But really, I have to emphasize that it was the staff that made this an exceptional stay.

This isn't the best of spots for a "Paris" stay. It is in Nanterre, which is quite built up and modern. If you are staying for business or to visit the university, you will find it quite handy. The University is within walking distance and La Defense is nearby. It is an easy walk to the Metro station, but again, this doesn't have a classic Paris feel.

The proximity to the venue and plenty of beautiful nearby nearby. Within waking distance of the Arena where we we’re heading to see a concert 🎶. This is easily accessible via a beautiful park, the walk from the hotel to the Arena took 20 minutes. it was perfect!

The shower screen system doesn’t work, the bathroom ends up being flooded! Hotel a bit dated however the price was fair for the accommodation.
