The area of Neuilly-Plaisance is lovely and the hotel itself had nice decor and friendly staff.

Parking was very difficult with a 2.3m high van, the bathroom was very small, and as mentioned in previous reviews, the lighting in the corridors is very poor. Within the room the light switches are overly complicated too.

The room was neat and clean, the shower was great, and the bed was large and comfortable. The espresso machine with pods was a nice touch (when most hotels only provide instant coffee).

I came directly from the airport and my room was ready for me, even though it was early in the afternoon. The check-in went well and the curtains allowed me to block out light and noise so I could adjust my sleep. In-room coffee was an excellent feature. The Métro, Monoprix, and many excellent dining options are just out the door.

The shower was comfortable, but it was impossible not to get the rest of the bathroom wet - and there was only one place to hang a towel or the bath mat. There wasn't any soap at the sink, which was a bit of a nuisance.

The boutique hotel was very nice. The room was a very nice size room with a shower that had a tub, a safe in the room and a nice size television. It was very comfortable.

The property itself was fine it’s a boutique hotel, so unlike large hotels, it doesn’t have a refrigerator in a microwave in the room but outside of that in terms of your sleeping accommodations it was great. The hotels location is good as well for daytime purposes I would have to say at night. Many of the local shops were closed and so it wasn’t as robust of an area, but it definitely is a easy hop via the local metro, which is a five minute walk to some of the more popular areas for night entertainment !

The room described wasn't exactly what we got, ie 2 bed appartment with a sofa bed was actually to small double rooms that were interconnected and there was no sofa. We asked for one Room tonbe made up as 2 single beds and had a email to confirm that was ok. When we got there it wasn't that way and when I pointed this out the what i assumed was then manager he was reluctant to fix it informing me that the double bed was big enough. i had to push the fact that I'd asked for and had a confirmation that the beds would be singles and finally he sent someone to fix it.

We booked the property based on the large number of great reviews and its close proximity to Gare Montparnasse. Fred’Hotel lived up to expectation. This is a very safe and secure neighbourhood filled with interesting, friendly and helpful people, including those at the hotel. Our room was small, as is the norm in Paris, but was well serviced and maintained. Easy access. Several metro stations within walking distance makes travel to other parts of Paris relatively easy and certainly cheap. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast using premium fresh French products.

Hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with lots of local bakeries, brasseries and small shops. The cheese shop and wine shop is 2 minutes walk from hotel and are very worth to visit. Supermarket is also right downstairs. On weekend there is a farmers morning market in a small park near the hotel.

Parking in not in the hotel. It is in the hospital nearby. So if you are driving, you’ll need to drop your bags at the hotel and park the car. Parking is within 10 minutes walk. There was no curtain and the glass at the shower was very short so the bathroom floor was all wet when we were taking a shower. But overall the stay was good
