Apollon Montparnasse

The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. Everything was clean, bed and pillows super comfy. Renovated modern look. Great location, restaurants, shops, bars, everything needed is at hand, metro station within 3 minutes distance. Breakfast was good. Elevator functioning correctly.

None of this things were a problem for me, but still I think it's worth mentioning for someone planning to stay here: There was an engine that was turned on at 7 am, I'm guessing a water pump or something of the sort. No problem for me since I had to wake up early anyways, but could be a problem for someone wanting to wake up late. I was staying in the 5th floor, maybe you wouldn't hear it in another floor. Not a biggie though. Also, the WC was in a very tight space, someone big just wouldn't be able to use it. Maybe it's different in other rooms.

Tiny but cosy (Paris style ;) room - perfect for single traveler, great location, really nice base for Paris explorarion - close to underground and perfect for fans of walks. I've loved the neighbourhood with climat bistros and cafes, but without too many tourists, the quality to price ratio, kind staff and comfortable bed with 4 big pillows only for me!

The thin walls and rooms acustice (so I heard the conversation from the behind of wall) - It was OK for me, but can disturb sometimes.

Location was excellent. Lots of amenities in the streets around the hotel including a tube station within a minute walk and the Gare Montparnasse train station within 10-min walk. Hotel was still quiet inside. The family room (2 adjacent rooms with own lobby) was great. Room facilities (mini fridge and safe) were good. The hotel also lent us a tray with kettle and cups on request and a plug adaptor. Breakfast was plentiful (although no cold meat available as per description).

Everything was good. One small detail - My mother had a double room on the same floor and the two fire doors to get into her room were a bit tricky to manoeuvre.

The hotel is located near a metro station so it was easy to get to and around the city. The staff was always very nice - friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, well-equipped with a comfortable bed. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. All in all: excellent value for the price. Thank you!

We had a warm, efficient welcome, very friendly staff who where happy to speak English. Room was an adjoining family room, which was fab, clean, and cosy. Breakfast was beautiful, and the breakfast was very cool in a cave like room. We travelled as a family of 4 with two teenagers and they thought it was cool.

Maybe a kettle in the room on arrival, however when we asked one appeared, service was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and we liked the fact that the main door was locked and you had to use a buzzer to be entered.

Room was perfect.

3 pm checkin is much too late. 2 pm would be dramatically better - especially after flying all night, landing at 7AM and having no place to rest until 3pm.

Convenient suite style room configuration that allowed a family of 4 to be side by side in the hotel. Super friendly staff, and comfortable, clean accommodations. Close access to the metro which can get you into the main part of Paris in ~20min

No major issues, great value for the property

Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate with a small basket of croissant, baguette or/and brioche, jam and butter. Yoghurt, cheese and compote de pomme were also available as well as fresh coffee. Staff were very friendly. Free wifi with no password, so much easier! staff very friendly and remember your name when you go in or out. 4 minutes from Pernety metro station and 15mn walk from Montparnasse train station, metro station and boulevards

No double glazing and as my room was facing the street (corner of 2 streets) it got quite noisy around 1am/2am when youths came out of bars or restaurants. Its a young trendy area. If you need a quiet room and since there is no double glazing, do ask for a room facing the inner courtyard.

Good location near to the Metro station and to Orly airport. Availability of food shopping and dining in surroundings. Simply but good breakfast. Clean and comfy rooms and hotel facilities. We had two connected rooms with two bathrooms - it was good choice for family with two children. Kind staff at the front desk.
