Pullman Paris Montparnasse

Location was good for the value. The reception staff were helpful and the rooms were comfortable.

The restaurant staff were appalling. Travelling with two impatient and hungry children we waited an unacceptable time to order as only 1 server was capable of receiving orders. I was informed this by a rather flippant waiter who rolled his eyes telling me that he was able to take our order but walked away and never returned. Children are not allowed in the SkyBar at any time which was disappointing as this is a selling point of the hotel.

Everything about this property was clean and well kept. The staff are extremely kind and professional, and the breakfast is wonderful too. Dominic was extremely kind particularly as we were leaving as he hailed us a taxi to the airport amidst traffic due to organized protests in the city and got it to us for cheaper than Uber! He even loaded our bags into the car. it was very appreciated. There are some restaurants in the hotel lobby and a very good cafe and a fun sitting area where guests would stay if they did not want to stay in their rooms after being out which I loved. We stayed in a double room as a family of four and found there was plenty space. The rooms are very updated and well kept, and towels and sheets get changed at your choice. The hotel is near a major train station so it’s possible to go literally anywhere in France once you figure it out. There’s some construction in the area temporarily but nothing that is loud at all. The area around is so fun to walk around and get lost in and the restaurant line up is stunning! Also a supermarket next door and up the block from the restaurant if you care for that. Overall I am so happy with our stay at Pullman Montparnasse and we agreed that when we come back to Paris, we’ll only stay here :)

Staff was super friendly and helpful.

We faced issues in housekeeping. They would clean the room very late and on the three days we were their they cleaned the room after 3pm on two days. We would sit in the room and the housekeeper would wash and tidy up. During those two days we were in the room while housekeeping was done we noticed the housekeeper washed the bathroom, then cleaned the cups and toweled the cupboard, and fixed the bed using the SAME gloves. She didn’t change her gloves after washing the WC.

Very fresh & funky, convenient location, helpful staff, comfortable bedding, lovely big breakfast!

Thought the Eiffel Tower could be viewed from more places in the hotel

Very personal and attentive staff, particularly in the Sky Bar. Concierge helpful in getting taxi.

Umami Restaurant- other than breakfast, not great incl. umami burger.

Great room for a family, children on a sofa bed in a separate part of the suite. Great check in, very thorough. Great with the children. Room had a great view of Paris. And was very comfy. It was very clean and accessible to all tourist attractions.

Power cut (in the neighbourhood) but room became very hot due to no aircon. Electricity came back on very early in the morning so woke children up due to lights suddenly coming on. We hadn’t included breakfast in our booking. We then decided to have breakfast on the morning of, we were charged €64 for two adults for the staff to start clearing all the food away 10:16am when breakfast finishes at 10:30. So left a little disappointed.

The FREE included breakfast was very nice, with a lot of options, and great service. The location of the hotel was ideal, with lots to see nearby, and very close to the subways. The hotel was very clean, and the service was terrific. Most of the staff did not speak English, but we were in France (lol) - but they were all very nice and accommodating.

They have a roof top bar that my wife and I really wanted to see. The hostess was almost a tad rude and told us there was a minimum charge expected to be paid for access. Mind you that both my wife and I retired at 55 years of age, so we could afford the $50 per person minimum - LOL. The bar prices are hotel bar prices, and are not consistent with the bars just around the corner. While the bar is nice, I would venture out a few steps and experience the culture

didn’t like the fact that we was forced to buy something just because we was in the sky lounge! that was very demanding.

We had a nice and comfortable stay. The location is great and we liked the revamping of the hotel. Rooms are modern, well equipped and have comfortable beds. Staff members are friendly and helpful. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. The food at the restaurant is very tasty.

The view on the graveyard 🙁 and few tiny things that the hotel management can improve for a better experience: - cleaning staff leaving dirty cleaning towels in the room by mistake - shampoo and hand soap racks not well fixed on the wall neither over the sink nor in the shower which render them not practical to use. But this did not stop us from enjoying our stay at pullman.

The hotel is very clean and modern. Our hotel room was also very clean. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke English well. The breakfast buffet was a little expensive (32 euros per person), but very good. There is a small "Grab and Go" cafe for coffee and snacks. The restaurant inside the hotel was also good for dinner. There is a rooftop bar called the Skybar, which has an amazing view of the city, including views of the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of cafes and restaurants, including a small shopping mall right next to the hotel, which has a grocery store inside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the experience made our first trip to Paris more enjoyable.

The bathtub in the bathroom of our hotel room was a little dangerous to climb into and out of, especially for shorter people, because of the height of the bathtub. The glass door of the bathtub also only covers half the length of the bathtub, so while taking a shower, water can spill out and wet the bathroom floor. I would suggest maybe putting a rug on the floor of the bathroom floor next to the bathtub.
