Hôtel Le Fabe

The hotel location is great, the metro is 2 min away, and there's a lot of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The staff is kind and helpful and everything was very clean. The bathroom is really big, especially compared to the rest of the room. The street my room was overlooking was rather quiet, so there were no noise issues either. I didn't use any of the common areas, so I can't comment on that.

The decor and colors are too loud, it's a minor complaint but I'd prefer something more toned down. My biggest issue was probably the bed, I expected something more comfortable and breathable (it would get super hot at night), though it's still manageable for a week long stay.

The staff members. They were absolutely wonderful! Really helpful with everything. The location was great too, a lot of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. The area had quite a local feel to it, so I felt like I got a glimpse into a real Parisian life. Still very easy reach to the city centre though! Good breakfast / minibar setup too. A very nice facility for a small hotel.

NB: I notice the tiniest of things, so please don’t consider what I’m about to write as a standard reaction. I needed to have a word about bathtub cleaning / sills at the front. It was largely because the plastic cover had been fixed and it couldn’t have been cleaned deeply enough. I’m sure it’s not a cleaner’s fault, it’s the setup issue. Everything else was very good

We came to Paris to a conference. Hotel Le Fabe is located in an ideal place, very close to two metro stations (line 13), a bit further also line 4 station and the railway station, so it is easy to get from the hotel practically everywhere in Paris, and to the city center it literally takes 5 minutes. The rooms were clean, especially the bathroom. To be honest, I didn't expect hotel service at such a good level. We were greeted by a very nice and smiling receptionist who not only showed us rooms, but also proposed several restaurants in the area. I think that every hotel would like to have such a receptionist, he definitely deserves a raise. We will definitely come back again.

No bad things to mention

This was a great place to stay i really enjoyed the area. I usually stay in the 5th or 7th i actually preferred this area. Pruce was reasonable too. Small place . Very clean , housekeeping did a fabulous job. really nice bathroom mine had a bathtub. The breakfast was included and was plentiful and good. The fellow who worked the front desk during the day sorry i did not get a name was so helpful professional and welcoming. Spoke English i am not bilingual . The bedding was nice. There was a safe in the room mi room had a nice big window that opened. It was quiet area with lots of choices for food ,cafes and shops. Close to metro. While i was there the hotel furnace broke down they quickly bought new space heaters to every room while they waited for the repair. I recommend Hotel.le Fabe

I asked for a wake up call twice and never received any from the night staff . My phone was not being reliable . I could have missed my train .

Most of all, the staff and their service. I felt secured when I was there the night before my husband arrived. They're very warm, welcoming, informative. The location is great too, and the cleanliness.

The pillows were uncomfortable, it would've been unbearable had we stayed for more than 3 nights. We would love more English channels please.

Warm and welcome hotel staff, very friendly and very helpful. The room could be a little bigger, but for a weekend in Paris, it was more than enough. Hotel is clean, and every day the clean towels were waiting for us in the bathroom. Good location, near the hotel there are so many bakeries, different restaurants, fast food restaurants and the metro is just a few meters from the hotel. Definitely a place to recommend.

Nothing special to complain.

Very clean, the bed could be more comfortable but it wasn't bad (it was kinda on the hard side but I do like that). The pillows could have been better. The shower pressure was strong enough. Air Conditioning kept the room quite cool. Easy access using the metro line 13 to some of the sights

Minor things, the coffee machine in the room didn't work properly and the bed could have been more comfy (although it was passable for a few days)

The location is great to reach the center of Paris. The metro station Pernety is just a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast is decent, but not extraordinary. The sauna in the hotel was not warm enough. I used it once, but even after 40-45 minutes of warming up, the sauna was still just a little bit warm.

One thing I really disliked is the small door stopper in the room. It is heavily anchored in the floor and I was constantly bumping my foot fingers against it. The thing is you cannot just avoid it, since the wardrobe is located next to it. I can imagine I am not the only one to have this experience..

Both Pierre and Adrian were so helpful in checking us in to assistance in using the metro and for restaurants in the area. The breakfast was continental with breads, cheese, juices, toaster, pastries, fruit and cakes, etc. Overall plenty of options to get us started for the day. We stayed two time: the first for one night in a main floor room with a large bathroom and shower stall which could accommodate a wheelchair; the second time because the main floor room was not available, we were upgraded to a room on the third floor which was modern and well appointed. Overall our stay in the hotel was excellent. What we liked especially was the area and while it looked non descript when we arrived, it turned out to be an excellent location. The hotel is in a residential area and has a pharmacy and supermarket across the street. Within a fewq minutes walk were bars and restaurant and the metro. The metro line we used was Pernety which was two stops from Montparnasse rail and metro station for travelling to Notre Dame Cathedral; Eiffel Tower; Sacre Couer and other areas of the city. This was not a tourist part of town which made it more interesting and people friendly for visitors. Just across the road from Pernety metro was "Au Metro" a bar and restaurant which served great food. The menu was all in French but the staff were so helpful in explaining the dishes on the menu which were all reasonably priced.

Staff were amazing and super super helpful and kind. Room was smaller than expected but very clean, smells good and has a comfortable bed. It is close to all means of transportation - buses and metros.

The water pressure and temp were not the best.. i felt like it was somewhat clogged and water not hot enough (for me personally) HOWEVER - manager came to take a look and everything seemed fine when he did. Everything done with great smile and kindness.
