Novotel Paris Centre Gare Montparnasse

The staff were very polite and helpful. They understood English very well. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was very clean. There was a water machine on our floor too. We got an Uber to Eiffel tower for €13 which I thought was very good value for 4 of us.

We are a family of four. I booked a room to sleep 4. We got a double bed and a pull out chair. It looked ok but it was very uncomfortable.

Good location, 5 minute walk to metro, 20 minute walk to Eiffel Tower, friendly helpful staff

We chose this hotel for its accommodation for a family of four, with two young daughters of 12 and 14. The room given was spotlessly clean, with the sofa turned into two comfy single beds with nice pillows and matress. Also for its location in Necker/Falguière residential neighbourhoods, where districts 6, 14 and 15 meets each other. Lots of restaurants/cafés/boulangeries/pattiseries/brasseries nearby. Also many small supermarkets, pharmacies and services (rent-a-car, etc). The hotel is 7 mins walk from two Metro stations: Pasteur (Green 6 and 12 lines) and Gaîté (light blue line 13). It also has ebikes and electric scooters parkings in front of the main entrance and in many of the surrounding corners. They're a fantastic way of transport. Last but not least, the hotel is just three blocks away from Gare Montparnasse, with connecting railways to almost anywhere, including the TER/N lines to Château De Versailles in 14 (!!) minutes non-stop. As for the service, it was brilliant in all the sense of the word. I had to receive a package coming from the UK that was already waiting for me in the room the night we checked-in. The staff at the front desk was immensely gentile and helpful all the time, addressing each one of our requirements with diligence and good mood/attitude. Breakfast was fantastic. An abundant buffet in a large salon with an open cuisine attended by a chef providing special preparations like eggs and such. Plenty of pastries and bread varieties, gluten-free madeleines, two Melitta automatic coffee makers, bacon, fresh fruits salads, cheeses, jam, french marmalades, you name it... Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and noise isolation in the rooms was absolutely perfect. We spent 11 nights in this hotel and we are absolutely grateful for the special care we received as a family group. Novotel Paris Centre Gare Montparnasse is a team effort.

loved the location, price in comparison to others, the facilities and the mini bar was brill in the heat. but not much selection and only 1 of each drink. the staff were great and breakfast was lovely, but needs beans as my kids kept saying lol. over very pleased with it though

the room seemed small for a "executive suite" was more like a normal room then a suite i would say, there was no sitting area as the ofa beds were made up for the kids, which i wasnt expecting for a suite,, there was no where to hang things and just very little space for 2 adults 2 kids. the toilet was separate to the bathroom and there was no sink in the toilet area 😵 and no locks on either door, seemed stange that this was after a refurb too. but for the price and a city trip exceptional value for money

Good location (6 metro stops from les champs-Elysées) , great value for money, close to metro and many restaurants that are open late. Friendly staff. Rooms are smaller than the american standard, but to be expected for Europe. Beds very comfortable and the rooms are clean. Overall great stay!

The room is spacious and clean. The staff are friendly. The food is good. The general facilities were okay.

The hotel is not easily located on the map. There is no clear direction to locate the hotel, especially when walking. My family and I often found we were unable to clearly find our way to the hotel as the map couldn't provide a clear guide. I also didn't like that the hotel reception setting was somewhat crowded with several other things. I almost thought I was in a wrong place, perhaps a photo studio, upon entering the lobby. The whole place is congested at the ground floor. Lastly, the idea of over-deduction of payment is detrimental to the customer. It's been almost two months and I still haven't gotten my refund, even though the hotel says it's from my bank. But why the need to over-deduct in the first place?

Great location, 5-minute walk to key places like the Montparnasse Tower, the Pasteur Metro station (10 minutes to the Eiffel Tower) and the Montparnasse Station (20 minutes to the Eurostar).

The bathroom is a bit worn. The water pressure wasn't great and the plug hole being in the middle of the bath made it difficult to stand properly when having a shower.

We had a lovely family holiday in this hotel. Family size room complete with anything you need,has a luggage storage, ironing machine and board, kettle with bonus tea bags and coffee packets, has a free filtered water dispenser in each level,hair drier...room was cleaned every day flat screen TV,. Good location to shops,restaurants and most of all it is accessible to the large train station Gare Montparnasse..Staffs are accommodating,multilingual etc.We were received by Deborah at the reception, she's so lovely and kind. Overall most highly recommended 4 star hotel..

Hopefully there will be a free breakfast too.
