Grand Hotel du Calvados

It was my first time in Paris and I was glad to see how well I was welcomed at the hotel. Everything, despite being simple and modest, was perfectly set to my expectations! The room was clean, quiet, lit and perfect for a good rest after long walks in the city. The bathroom was fully equipped, clean and spacious enough. The location is perfect, in front of a major train station.

There's a little issue with the shower which doesn't restrain and drain the water, flooding the bathroom after every shower. And, maybe a little extra care with the washing of the pillows.

Very helpful and friendly staff, all guys are smiling and always ready to assist with any questions) Location of hotel is just perfect, easy to reach all the sightseeing.

I was traveling in winter and it was cold for me in the room, unfortunately hotel doesn’t provide any heaters. Also there is no breakfast or any meal served in the hotel.

Very helpful and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are basic but clean and perfectly adequate for a short stay. The location is great with nearby transport links just down the road.

The bed was a little small and I'd fear someone taller than myself might not be as comfortable. The sink was quite slow to drain away. Other than that though it was fine.

This hotel is perfect for a low budget trip to Paris! Small room but it was very nice.

When you are leaving the hotel, you need to deliver the keycard to the staff, that we felt was unsafe. Another was the heat in the room, it was very hot! But again it was a cheap hotel so it was okay.

I stayed at many hotels in Paris, including those twice as expensive, and honestly, no big difference. Very good value for money. I had a small but quiet and clean room, slept very well. Staff very nice.

The hotel isn't exactly charming or special - but, again, for the price and location, I'm not complaining

The location of the hotel is very good, there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The reception is open 0-24, the staff is kind and flexible. We could leave our luggage after check out in the morning and then pick it up late in the afternoon and also use the restaurant's restroom.

The elevator and the bathroom are a bit small.

Simple but practical acommodattion. The desk service and personnel were very attentive and polite.

Sometimes our card key was malfunctioning and we couldnt close the Door, but these issue was hastly repaired by the desk service.

Superbly located for Gare St Lazare! Bed comfy and clean and the shower works well. Buffet breakfast good and staff relaxed and friendly. Ideal for a one stay.

Carpets throughout a bit tired and entrance to hotel a bit dull. Door to hotel opens only when bell rung which is not always a good thing if reception not manned.

I thought the location was wonderful and very convenient to metro and cafes . the staff were all extremely kind and gracious and helped me with any needs and questions I had 10/10

I liked everything

It was central & easy to find (very close to the train station). It was spotlessly clean which is most important to me, very comfortable & the staff were helpful. I had everything I needed.

There was an electric kettle in the room, I brought my own tea but there was only glasses, not mugs & no sugar.
