Hotel Yllen Eiffel

Me and my group of five asian friends from the UK travelled to Paris for the first time. As soon as we landed in this hotel, we were all instantly greeted with a warm welcome and the hotel hosts provided us a map, some great travel tips and tourist advices that may be helpful to us. The hosts were so friendly, amazing english speakers, and had a great sense of humour. At this initial point, we were already impressed. We were fortunate and lucky that the hotel staff enabled us to leave our luggage early morning so we can still enjoy walking around Paris before checking in at 2pm. We booked 3x double rooms and upon check-in, we were delighted to find such a modern, classy and clean hotel room right near where we wanted to be, close to the effeil tower, montparnasse and two metro station. It was super convenient in terms of travelling around Paris and the perfect place to stay for us group of friends. Each room we found to also have a unique touch to it. I especially loved the balcony and the site of the city, very parisian vibes. The hotel hosts were amazing and the hospitality was way beyond our expectations, we were kindly given wine glasses as we wanted to celebrate and olive oil (for my friend) upon our request. The hotel staff seems to also be very alert and concious of people walking in that may not be their guests, the good level of security made me and my group of friends then felt very safe and secure. Not only that, I would also like to mention that the hotel cleaners also did an exceptional job in housekeeping and maintaining a clean room during our stay, our hotel amneties were cleaned and changed and newly replaced for use. Again, A+ for their wonderful service and hard work. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, all the hotel staff were awesome and their hospitality went above and beyond!

location is extremely convenient, walking distance from Champ de Mars & Les Invalides, and also from many Metro lines. The hotel facilites are very well maintained, clean and nice. and we loved that they pay attention to the details: L’Occitane products, coffee capsules and water, slippers. The receptionist were also very gentile.

The room was a bit small, especially for 3 people. luckily we do not spent a lot of time in the hotel room! the second comments is that the breakfast is a bit expensive, so we did not try it in the end. 16 euros per person was a bit too much in our opinion, although everyone comments that the quality is very good.

was clean and the neighborhood was quiet . rooms are a bit small but is expected. if you are not staying in the room much is perfect.

My sister and I are happy to recommend the stay in this hotel. Great location near to the city center. For example, Eiffel Tower is 20 min by public transport, 29 min by feet or 10 min in a taxi. There are two Metro stations 2 and 5 min away from the hotel. As well as plenty little cafes, bakeries and bistros. Hotel Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We were explained how to get to all our destinations including touristic spots, Disneyland, restaurants and etc. as well as we were recommended a few other spots we should visit (outlet on the way to the Disneyland, restaurants with the view and cafes). We informed the staff before coming in that it will be a birthday celebration for one of us and by the time of our arrival we were pleasantly surprised with a little gift and an upgraded room. The room itself was very cosy, with a built-in air conditioner, coffee machine with capsules and little treats on the side and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on. All together or stay was wonderful and we are very happy to give this place a deserved 5 star review.

Central place, immediately close to a metro station. The area is sophisticated, full of lovely bakeries, shops and bars.

Fabulous hotel in a great area. The Reception staff are excellent, very helpful & friendly. Great choice of breakfast. The room was spotless, lovely bathroom toiletries to use and very comfy bed. We’d booked 2 rooms, one for our daughter’s 21st birthday as she’s always wanted to go to Paris - the hotel staff very kindly provided a free upgrade, for which we were most grateful. They even provided a few little birthday gifts for her, which was a very nice touch. We would definitely come back to this hotel; the area is great (metros are so easy to use), the hotel is lovely, the staff are very welcoming. Thank you to all we came across in Hotel Yllen - thoroughly recommend. Also, some lovely little places to eat along the street.

This hotel is situated on the corner of a bustling junction street, with a metro and a bar on the opposite corners, there is also a delicious bakery positioned across the road! The hotels decor is beautiful, the room was impeccably clean everyday, it had all the appliances you need (iron and board also available on request). The room was nice and bright, not too small and the bed was increbibly comfy! Suprisingly, we were never disturbed by the busy streets below! We were greeted by the lovely Camille, she was absolutely delightful, very friendly and helpful! She gave great recommendations for food and places to visit in the city throughout our stay, all the staff did! It's in a great location, walking distance to the Eiffel Town and 2 metro stations within 5 minutes (1 right outside the hotel) that can get you on your way to where you need to go! I would definitely recommend staying here, we will certainly return on future trips to Paris!

Excellent location, right next to the metro station. A nice safe neighbourhood with lots of restaurants nearby, plus only a lovely 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Hotel staff were brilliant! So many recommendations of where to eat, directions etc. thank you for a great first trip to Paris!

Incredibly warm welcome from Garance - so helpful and accommodating to my situation (food allergies ). She organised for me to be looked after at breakfast (which the hotel refused for me to pay as I did not have much ) and gave me directions to reach the train station the next day which were spot on. She is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient, a credit to the hotel. The lady at breakfast was helpful and looked after me so kindly, bringing me some non dairy milk and attending to all my requests with a lovely smile and disposition

Not much - I thought it was closer to Gare Montparnasse but it may be that I got a little confused finding my way from the station on my arrival

The hotel is fabulously appointed and the beds very comfortable. While the hotel isn't directly near anything particular, it is exactly next to the Volontaires Metro station (12 line) and across the street from a number of busses. Breakfast is simple but quite nice and there is a coffee machine, kettle, safe, and small refrigerator in the room. Bottles of still and sparkling water are supplied each day and the rooms are exceptionally clean.

There is no getting around the fact that the rooms are small, however they are so well furnished, it was not an issue at all. It may not be a destination hotel per se, but it is a perfectly comfortable option if you're busy experiencing the city.
