Madrigal

The family room was spacious, with a small bathroom. The hotel is in a great area, within walking distance of Gare Montparnasse. We only stayed for one night but we'd gladly stay again as the location is perfect (especially when coming by train from Montparnasse), close to metros, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Madrigal for a stay of a few nights in Paris. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel, which we did not try, but it looked like a nice place.

In our room in particular the hanging sliding door of the bathroom did not shut, but as we were there only one night, it wasn't really an issue.

I has stayed here a few years ago in one of the dorm rooms and had a nice experience. I stayed in on the the single queen balcony rooms this time. Staff was SO lovely and helpful. Beds were really comfy and the decor is so nice. Bathroom was super clean. The room was also really quiet. I liked having the window open for some fresh air and a little city noise and was shocked how quiet it was when I shut it. Excellent location directly next to the train so it was super easy to get in from Orly and out to CDG. I will most definitely stay here in all of my future trips to Paris.

My only two complaints are that the carpet was a bit dirty/sticky in some areas. It desperately needs a cleaning. The air conditioner worked really well but was making a very annoying clicking/shaky noise.

This is a really good hotel situated right near the centre of Paris, next to the Pasteur metro station. This makes it easily connected to any part of Paris. This saves you a lot of money since u don't need to spend money on taxis. We managed to do all parts of Paris by the metro due to this connectivity. Also the staff is very helpful and they go out of their way to guide you on any of your queries. The rooms are near, tidy and spic and span. They are quite modern and there are small closet / spaces to store your stuff. Travel light and you will love the rooms. Also the balcony overlooks the main road which is not too busy and gives you a proper vibe of Paris life. The restaurant below is fantastic and fun. Although we didn't have any meals there but just the menu the warmth and open kitchen aromas can catch your fancy. I would recommend that have atleast 1 go for the restaurant over wine or drinks. Good option for light travellers

Rooms are a bit cramped if you are used to spacious spaces. Especially the bathrooms. You can barely manage to squeeze in and out of it. The main issue is that with the bathroom having a sliding door, it does not shut you out from the main room and hence there is hardly any privacy if there are 2 of you in the room. The balcony is quite good but cannot be used for smoking even though it is a proper balcony.

The hotel is so modern. Rooms with small balcony, but some of them have the big one. The room is small but cozy, and there are everything you need - bathroom, bed, wardrobe and working table and TV. The location of this hotel is brilliant - very close to the metro station, there are a lot of bakery and cafe.

The only one thing which I can note that the carpet has spots but by the way it didn’t spoil my opinion. The hotel is very good and I hope to come back and recommend it to my friends!

The staff was responsive and friendly. The room with a balcony overlooking the flowering trees is beautiful! One of the most convenient areas: non-tourist, access to Montparnasse and line 6. The room looked stylish, my boyfriend called it a "girly loft"

The room is not big, it’s normal size for Paris and it was ok for one night and it will be ok if you live alone. There's not enough place for two. The toilet is a "closet", it's not very comfortable for a couple. There was no air conditioning in the room, it can be hot in summer, the boulevard is big and noisy, sleeping with an open balcony will be difficult

We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. Julien was an amazing host, was friendly, tried to talk to us in our language, and made us feel very comfortable overall. The card-key to the room worked perfectly and the wifi was high-speed. They also had a teapot with tea/coffee, sugar, and honey in the room, which was a lovely detail. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly to us as well. Thank you, Hotel Madrigal! for such a great stay. It truly helped to make my first visit to Paris very special.

Helpful and friendly staff! They spoke very good English. The hotel location was very good and less touristy. However you can reach main spots easily by Metro 6 and 12. We also liked the French breakfast

Sound proof should be improved. We could hear neighbors snoring, talking and showering. As you would expect in Paris, the rooms can be somewhat small.

friendly vibe, very helpful staff, wonderful location in the “real” paris - a residential area that provides a more authentic feel for how parisians live, metro stop made access to other parts of the city simple, wonderful Sunday market just down the street, plenty of good options for meals - both in the hotel and on Boulevard Pasteur

our room was a little tight as was the shower, but the bed was comfy and french doors opened to a small balcony which helped make the room feel larger.

We travelled via Metro here for a one night stay after a few days at Disneyland. The hotel was in a lovely part of the city, with walking distance to the Eiffel Tower (25mins). The hotel has a really cool set up and the family room was big enough so that we didn't feel squashed. There's a couple of great restaurants attached to the hotel too, plus a nice cafe across the road for a typical French breakfast.

The bedding on the sofa bed could have been better attached.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. I had a room on the 6th floor and the view was amazing. The room is nicely decorated compared to most other hotels I stayed at it in Paris. Easy to reach.

The bathroom was incredibly small and even I struggled (I am small framed). Being on the last floor, it could get pretty hot even on a day when it was not too warm outside. The walls are very thin and I could hear everything from the room next to mine.
