Very friendly, helpful staff. Very comfortable ensuite rooms with good services. Nice help yourself buffet breakfast. Great location in Paris with excellent bars and restaurants right outside across the street. Despite being so central, it was remarkably quiet at night.

A single, very slow lift for the whole hotel means a lot of waiting - or a lot of stairs - if you're on the higher floors. The lobby and downstairs decor (bright yellow, navy blue and deep red) looks awful and gives a slightly cheap vibe - which is in complete contrast to the rooms, dining room and stairway which are all very nicely decorated.

Perfect location, extraordinarily nice staff, beautiful Belle Époque hotel being lovingly restored. Our room overlooked lively Rue St-Honore, which is lovely, but the massive casement windows kept our room as silent as the tomb at night. We loved the “work-in-progress” vibe, which was limited to hallways. Our room was huge by Paris standards, and the king bed was first-rate. Breakfast was great.

Literally our only complaint was the toiletries, which were so high-end that my 72-year-old eyes couldn’t read the tiny, tasteful low-contrast print, so it was a crapshoot whether you picked up shower gel or hair conditioner.

The hotel was wonderful. We were able to get in 2 hours early which really surprised us. The elevator was having issues but thankfully the staff were able to bring up all our luggage in the staff only elevator. Our room was on the 5th floor and was one of the newly renovated ones. It was bright, spacious by Paris standards and modern with touches of classic European style. The staff were very friendly and had great recommendations for the area. The hotel was less than a 5 minute walk from 2 metro stations so we were able to access 4 different metro lines. Plus we had so much available in the area too including a ton of restaurants just steps away. If anyone is looking for a great hotel, this is the place to go.

Elevator wasn’t working the whole time we were there and after many long days of sightseeing and tons of walking, hiking up those stairs was a bit of a chore but we managed okay.

The property location was wonderful because we wanted to be near the Louvre and have access to subway stops. There were plenty of options for different train lines, restaurants, shops, and theater. The Louvre was two blocks away. We were also close to Musée du Orsay and were able to take plenty of leisurely walks on the Seine. Staff were amazing. Isaac was particularly helpful upon our arrival and proved to be a treasure of resources and information the first few days of our stay. The breakfast options were fantastic and provided enough options for balanced meals each morning without needing to go elsewhere to find complements. This was important because my mother and I have different dietary needs and we were both satiated. The property also hosted a fashion show and had some wonderful places to take photographs to commemorate my trip.

The first few days the main elevator was still under construction (which I was aware of before booking). We were able to use the service elevator to bring our bags up and my mother also used it on occasion since she is in her 70s. The trips we did make via stairs improved our health so it was, at best, a mild inconvenience for three days out of seven.

The location was excellent. The room in which we stayed (333) was very big and clean. The bed was comfortable, lighting in the room excellent. The bathroom was also clean with a nice shower. The staff was ok in general. The breakfast was also good but had limited options.

The lock of the room wasn't working. Anyone could push the door and come in. We had to pull the door several times to lock it when leaving the hotel. In fact, on the first day, after the cleaning, the door was open after we came back in the evening. The hotel got it fixed after repeated complains from us. Other than that, everything was nice.

The breakfast was amazing! There were many options to choose from food wise. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The hours for breakfast were great.

Once they were a little too quick to clear the table. I was alone and had got up to get some tea, when I returned to the table it had been cleaned. I had to replenish my items. Wasn’t a big deal and I always brought a coat with me afterwards that I left at the table to indicate that I was coming back.

I was in one of the new rooms and can say, spot on! It was large, superbly renovated, really high end and for Paris amazingly large. Really nice rooms! Also liked the breakfast downstairs. Seems odd at first, but then really cosy and decent food, plus good service. And of course, the location!! You are in the centre of it all. If you want to not spend time going back and forth to your hotel, this is the place to be!!

The hotel was in full on renovation mode. So half the corridors were run down and in a state of being rebuild. Most hotels would close for that phase. They didn’t. The staff are polite, but not overly friendly or helpful. They are ok, but this isn’t a well trained team that aims to make the customers stay great. You ask a question, you get an answer.

Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and both the bathroom and bedroom were large, with a very modern and fashionable aesthetic. The room was constructed to let the most natural light in. The staff of the hotel were very accommodating, and the amenities provided were better than most, with large shampoo and body wash containers compared to the usual tiny bottles, for example.

The hallway leading to our room was unappealing; the ceiling in some areas was exposed, and the wires were showing as well. The carpets of the staircase were dusty as well. We understand that maybe those areas are under renovation and those were the only issues we had during our stay. Everything else was perfect.

Location is very comfortable, metro, buses, everything possible is nearby. Breakfast was nice, but the choice was not the widest. Although the choices offered were really good quality - freshly squeezed juices, good cheese, etc. Bathroom is fairly sized and has a normal blow dryer, not the slow one, like in most of hotels.

hotel is still under renovations, the view from the room was blocked by the scaffolding, 6th floor is not painted yet, the room is quite small, although the bathroom is very good sized.
