Timhotel Le Louvre

The staff was amazing. This was our first trip to Europe and barely knowing French, we were anxious about our ability to navigate the city. Our staff was amazing at helping us figure out the metro, other sites to see not on our list, and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The location couldn't be better. We felt like we were at the center of everything we wanted to do and see for the two days wewere in Paris. The hotel was a few minutes walk from the metro, the Louvre, the Seine River, Notre Dame, the Opera House. The metro was easy to use to get us to the Eiffel Tower and the Basilica of the Sacre Coeur. Also, we were close to wonderful dining.

The accomodations were small compared to what we are used to in the United States. But, we were only in the room long enough to sleep or get ready for our next adventure so it wasn't really an issue.

The location was excellent. Staff kept rooms very clean. Breakfast options were generous. The room had plenty of storage, a small sitting area, and a view of the courtyard. Desk staff, particularly the blond-hair lady, was very helpful when I needed transportation to various venues and from the hotel to the airport. This is the second time I have booked Timhotel Le Louvre. It is a gem for the price!

I have no complaints about any aspect of the hotel or its staff. I have only positive comments regarding this hotel.

It's my third or fourth stay in this hotel and it's still great. I asked for a room on the top floor and they were kind enough to give me one. It was great. As it is a 3-star hotel in central Paris, this means the rooms are small and the walls not very well soundproofed, but despite these things, the hotel did their best to offer a great stay. It's central, close to everything - The Louvre, Pompidou, Notre Dame, Les Halles, metro stops, shops, plenty of restaurants within 100 m (about 10-15 places).

The location of the hotel is superb. We took a direct train, RER B, from the airport straight to Chatet station, and then a 15min walk to the hotel. Lourve Musuem is 3min walk away. The nearest metro station is also 3min away, allowing direct access to the Champs Elysee shopping district. Going to the Eiffel tower is 1 bus ride or 1 metro change away. We can get to St Chapel and the Seine River and Museums D'orsay by foot or metro too. We walked to a farther metro station for a single train ride to Versailles. There is a bakery right at the corner of the street with great pastries and desserts (we didn't have the hotel breakfast), and plenty of restaurants around too. Staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't have any issues with the water, shower, toilet or air conditioner.

The room is cramp with limited walking space. The shower area is also rather small. The lift can take 2pax + 2 large suitcases at most.

Location is perfect, practically whole city center is in walking distance. Train station Les Halles for airport transfer is just few hundreds meters away. Perfect for visiting Paris museums: Louvre, d´Orsay, Orangerie, Pompidou - all very close. Staff was nice, room was quite small (standard for Paris) but very clean and bed was comfy. If you don´t plan to spend much time in your room, the place is perfect.

Non-sweet side of breakfast could use more variety. There were no vegetables. I mean, how hard could it be to cut a few tomatoes and some peppers or cucumber. But as most hotels in this price range offer only continental or sweet breakfast, one can´t complain too much I guess...

The Breakfast was good and the fresh croissant were delicious, room is small and the bathroom is really very small but it's okay cause you will be exploring the city and the location of this location is excellent.

The room wasn't cleaned properly cleaned by the housekeeping team and one of the concierge was very rude when we came around 2300 cause he was somewhere inside and wasn't happy because he had to open the main door

Location is absolutely perfect - minutes walk from the Louvre, 15 mins walk to Sainte Chappelle and Conciergerie and Notre Dame, 30-45 min airport transfer. Breakfast was basic continental and did the trick. Staff lovely and hospitable, able to help with any request (taxi, additional supplies, luggage storage)

Room was a little basic and outdated, but you don’t go to Paris to spend your time in the room! It did the job and the bed was comfy. Don’t let that put you off.

Small, cute hotel in best location right by the Louvre. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate as we were only there to sleep. Bathroom new and very modern. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, it was constantly refilled. Everyone is super friendly. A supermarket is just around the corner and a city bike station Velib too. Velib is highly recommended for exploring the city when the weather is nice.

The location couldn't be more central unless maybe you rented a room in Le Louvre. Staff were helpful, informative, courteous, and kind. The breakfast is yummy and a real deal (cooked back bacon, scrambled eggs, crepes, fine small croissants, muesli, fruit, etc, etc. The bed was super comfy. Our room was relatively quiet.

This place is a bargain. I'm not going to say worse than that!

Ease of getting to our room in hotel. Always a nice person at the front desk. Hotel staff were especially kind. Room was cleaned each day. Everything about the stay was excellent. Location is key - with limited mobility it was great with going out for lunch or dinner ALL the restaurants and boulangeries we're just a few hundred feet near.

Only negative is that the shower is petite, definitely not a deal breaker. Will stay again!
