Timhotel Tour Montparnasse

The location is great, we could walk to the main attractions (Tour Montparnasse, Seine, Tour Eiffel, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Les Invalides etc.), many good restaurants and cafes in the area, with good food; the room was cozy and clean, bathroom (with shower) as well. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Was a bit noisy at night (we had a room just above the cafes), the walls were pretty thin (we could hear the people in the other room talking or taking a shower); the hotel overall needs a few updates/renovation (there are signs of wear and tear on the walls and bathroom). The breakfast was good (the croissants delicious), but not very diverse, not many things to choose from.

Excellent location, close to 3 metro stations and Montparnasse train station. There are a lot of nice cafes in the area, for all preferences. The room is being cleaned every day, the towels are changed. Although the room is small, but ok by Paris standard, it is enough for 2 people.The bed is very comfortable, which is really good because that’s what you’ll need after daytime fatigue. No noise can be heard with the window closed, we had the room on the 6st floor. Both on arrival and on departure, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel even after the check-out. We’ll definitely come back.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, absolutely above and beyond for a little hotel like this. The decor was nice and everything was very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The location was great, adjacent to a few neighborhoods of interest but not in an intensely busy area. Close to the Metro and Gare du Nord.

The room was tight but OK by Paris standards. The shower was in a corner of the room, which is space efficient but made for a bit of a drippy mess right in the only path around the room. The vanity mirror was oddly positioned and not useful for makeup application. Really just small room problems, and acceptable at the price.

The staff is extremely nice. Especially the guy on the night shift and the young black woman in the morning. It was always a pleasure and they helped with all my questions, nighttime food deliveries, and whatever else I needed. The rooms are simple but the big artworks behind the beds give it a very Parisian touch and create a good atmosphere. The area is very lively and well connected. I stayed there twice already, booked another stay and that's for sure not going to be the last time either. Keep up the good work! :)

In the two rooms I stayed in so far, there was only one power outlet (below the little desk). The other one next to it only worked when the big light in the room is switched on. It wasn't a big problem for me traveling alone, but it might be relevant for very digital couples that need to charge many devices.

it was a short walk from the train station. Great location for us. Metro was close by. I liked how thoughtfully the room was appointed. The hotel is older and its quaint size (small rooms) and traditional decor add to its charm. The original lift is still in use. Rooms were very clean. Bathroom appeared recently renovated. Bedding seemed new; slept great. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The TV didn’t work well; reception was spotty. We weren’t there to watch tv so not a big deal. Housekeeping disregards “do not disturb” door hangers. Walls are thin, but we decided to consider that as part of the hotel’s charm. :)

Room was small but very clean and bathroom was also very clean Staff at reception was very courteous and efficient We came in late but it took only few minutes to get to our room As we needed to be at the station early it was great to be so near Hotel is on a street with restaurants, bars and shops but no noise in the room

Nothing as we stayed only 1 night for longer stay the room would be a bit small

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was nice the hotel provided little extra touches such as water, tea / coffee, shower gel, body lotion and shower caps. Very friendly, helpful staff too. The hotel was just five minutes walk from Montparnasse train station (walk via the main road opposite the side entrance to the station, as it’s all pavement, rather than cobbled streets if you take the street to the right just past the Monoprix store opposite the main station entrance. Cobbled streets are not good when lugging two very heavy suitcases). Great choice of bars and restaurants around the hotel. We ate at Plomb Cantal, a minute’s walk from the hotel. Excellent food, staff and a decent G&T. Would definitely stay here again.

room was spacious enough to accommodate 2 large luggages with a seating area and coffee table in addition to a small standard desk. Elevator to the required floor. Helpful desk clerks who assisted with printing out reservation tickets & holding our bags till check-in time. Lots of great eateries around. 2 or 3 different metro lines within 5 mins walk. Montparnasse train station also within 5 mins walk.

the room needs some refurbishment but still comfortable and functional

I loved the location of this hotel. Many eateries were in vicity. And the connection to city centre was good. The hotel was clean and. Although the room was bit small, but it was comfortable and cozy.

I stayed just for one night so I cannot comment more about what I didn't like. My experience with the hotel was nice. Just that when I switched off all the lights in my room, even the charging point got switched off. So the battery of my mobile couldn't get re-charged overnight.

Nice hotel and well located and good value for money

A bit more effort could be made with breakfast and breakfast area ...... its a dull place .
