Hôtel Aiglon

My husband and I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Firstly and most importantly, the staff were wonderful--very friendly, helpful, attentive, professional. We cannot speak highly enough of everyone at the desk and the cleaning staff. Secondly, the room was extremely comfortable. The bed was terrific as was the shower. We had a bath in our room the first night and so I was a bit disappointed when our room only had a shower when we returned to Paris. But the shower was very strong and so it was absolutely fine. The staff also put the request for a bath on my record so that when I come the next time it is already noted. I appreciated that. Just excellent quality rooms, very quiet. Blackout curtains. We were extremely comfortable. Finally, the location is perfect. Not only is it right between two metros and easy to visit the rest of the city, it is in an historic district filled with cafes, restaurants, bars. We had a perfect stay.

Honestly I have nothing to complain about. I will recommend this hotel to everyone and also stay here again the next time I am in Paris.

Free minibar at arrival, very nice reception staff , coffee machine with daily resupply, nice bathroom with lot of natural light. Very nice position in Montparnasse, 30-40 min walk distance to Notre Dame, Louvre or Tour Eiffel, close to Pantheon and Jardins de Luxemburg

Nothing that we really did not like. We found unusual ( never happened before) that we had to give our room keycards at the reception every time when we left the hotel. The smell on the sixth floor was not very pleasant , but only on the corridor, not in the room. The bedroom was smaller than expected for the superior double due to the partition of the room with lobbies, separate toilet etc. The window there was small and somehow high about the floor limiting the view. Overall we were satisfied with the room so all about are only minor things that are anyhow due to the old building architecture which gives also the charms of such hotel.

Our room was so large and had plenty of space for storing our clothes and bags. I loved that our bathroom had a shower and bath tub. The staff was wonderful and helped us call a taxi the morning we checked out. The location is near so many restaurants and this delicious and cheap bakery wonderfully recommended by the front desk team. It is located across the street from a train station with a direct route to the Eiffel Tower and other popular sites. Also the breakfast offered at this property was totally worth it.

The hotel is very well located in the Montparnasse district. It is close to a cemetery, but the discreet walls, covered with vegetation, make the cemetery go unnoticed. Commerce is very varied. There are many restaurants close by, supermarkets and a metro station less than 100 meters from the hotel. The Montparnasse district has many bars and cafes. On weekends it's a street party. Breakfast is a little expensive (12 euros per person), but everything is expensive in Paris!!! For less than 10 euros it is possible to go to a nearby market and buy food for breakfast for a couple, and there will still be food left over for a late night snack.

We used a car to go to Paris as we were in the Loire Valley. Parking in Paris is a problem as there are no spaces on the streets and underground parking is very expensive. The hotel has parking spaces at a relatively low cost, but you have to book at the time of booking your room. As we forgot about it, they didn't offer us a place to park our car. I think booking car parking should be more explicit in the room booking process.

The staff was accommodating, the location was superb. The hotel is a short walk across the street from the Metro Station that will take you anywhere you need to go in Paris. The room was clean, and we loved the open windows that overlooked the very charming Montparnasse area where we were staying. It was the perfect home best to tour the best of what Paris has to offer. There is an award winning Boulangerie/Patisserie down 1 block that offers great pastries and quiche for breakfast. The restaurant downstairs was excellent. We ate there twice.

The room was small, but to be expected.

Location is nice. 2 mins to metro Raspail and walking distance to Saint Germaine and Montparnasse. A few good places to eat and drink around. Lively street but not noisy. Room was clean and warm, equipped with all the essentials incl kettle, nespresso machine, mugs. And everyday they restocked coffee pods and tea bags as well as made the bed and renewed mugs. We had a separate wardrobe and a bathroom with a bathtub which was very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

We came to Paris to visit old friends and stayed at Aiglon for 4 nights. We checked in in the morning after a night flight, and entered the room immediately as there a room ready and it was wonderful to rest and refresh and then enjoy almost a whole day. The hotel is very clean and aesthetic, the central quiet location in perfect and the staff was highly hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you Paul and Julien. Breakfast is lovely and tasty.

They upgraded us to a suite for free! The room was spacious and gorgeous and we had a beautiful view. The bathroom was huge with great lighting and water pressure. The bed was so comfy. It was super quiet for a Paris hotel.

Honestly everything exceeded our expectations. I just wish we could have stayed longer. I guess if I had to say something, the staff was kind of weird in demeanor but they were super kind and informative and did the job. There are all sorts of people in this world.

The room was very clean and spacious. Comparing to other French hotels I had stayed before, I was impressed by the bathroom/shower spaces, really good. The location was great as well, I was easily able to access metro/bus to the Eiffel Tower, Sacrecour, Louvre, Notredame, etc. Breakfast was good with nice coffee, pancakes, croissants, cheese, breads, eggs, etc. I loved the experience and I am sure when I come back to Paris, I will stay there again.

Got an upgrade to the suite and this made my experience memorable. The room, on the last floor, is cosy and has an awesome view on the typical Montparnasse district. The towels in the bathroom are superpuffy . Bed very comfy. Excellent cleaning. Personnel is very helpful and above the average of the personnel you may find in many hotels in Paris (and many other EU capitals). For someone in need of support it can be a big value but also for someone -like me- who wanted to chat about strikes and Parisian transports. The availability of a room service reasonably priced and various from an above-the-average bistrot just next is also top value (even if I would suggest to try directly the bistrot). Position is also very good to visit a typical district with nice restaurants, not touristy. To be short: a place where to come back when possible.
