Timhotel Paris Gare Montparnasse

We stayed in a room with three beds that had two full baths. It was incredible. I mean it was not luxurious, but we knew that going in. It was just perfect for us. Two adults and a teenager. There was a good deal of privacy that we did not expect because the pictures show three beds lined up. Instead, there was one single bed with one full bath with desk and large window that opened to a nice view. The other room had two single beds, a spacious bathroom, a large closet for hanging clothes that had a ice full mirror on the outside, and desk with shelves above for coffee maker. There was a large window with view overlooking the street below. The room was bright and clean and just perfect for our adventurous family of three. The staff were lovely to us. I could not be more happy with our stay and we will definitely stay there again. (So sorry I didn't take pictures!)

The only thing I would change is the lighting. I understand that we live in a "green" world and everyone is trying to save on energy but the lighting situation was bad. I almost went to the Monoprix to buy a lamp. There were not many outlets either so we had to take turns charging our phones. Seems to me the management could put better lightbulbs in and add an extension cord that allows for more charging.

The location was great- super close to metro and buses, many good restaurants around. At the hotel everyone were kind and friendly. All was clean and well taken care off. Room was nice in general- the bed was cozy and really comfortable. The price was good as well. Breakfast included in the cost was amazing and delicious-They offered variety of drinks- orange juice, coffee, tea; mini croissants, eggs, bacon, ham, cheese, jam & crepes etc. It was very good.

The room I got with my mom was small and it was a little hard to navigate for two people- it was more appropriate for 1. It was kind of cool in the room and bathroom- I think the heat was simply off too early in the season. It was great to sleep but to hang out, it was too chilly.

Rooms were clean and quiet, well located (we needed the quick access to Montparnasse train station)

We wanted our full trip to be paid for before departure (multiple bookings, flight/ train tickets etc) to only care for sightseeing and fun occupations while in France. Hotel doesn't debit payment before check in (months after the booking was made) by saving credit card details (I never store my payment details on any websites) so it was a really bad surprise not accounted for (because we were in a rush in the months prior to the trip and only went with the booking confirmation without double checking).

- breakfast was very good and very friendly - bathroom and bed very good - some staff were very nice - late open, late securety - we got 2 rooms near to eachother because the family room we've booked wasn't free

- the day we arrived, the manager at the reception was not very friendly and overstressed when we came around 14.30 for our rooms (after that he was more friendly) - the lift is very dirty and that's a pitty because it's almost the first impression of the hotel, it also smells aweful

the staff where very friendly & willing to help out with answering questions & advice on best places to eat & for site seeing.

the cleanliest of the hotel in general, our room specifically with the view which was worth the money or cost of our stay. the check in/out times & being able to leave our luggage while site seeing.

The surrounding was quiet and I could sleep well at night. The geographical location was really convenient as it is close and can be seen from the Gare de Montparnasse. Also my checkin time was after 23:00 but the front desk is open 24 hours and that was one of the reason I chose this hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming. I got a good impression.

The hotel is well located for the Montparnasse train station which made getting around the city really easy. The Eiffel tower is a 20-25 minute walk away. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Breakfast each day is good and sets you up, it is basic but there is plenty of it.

The rooms are a little on the small side, however this is somewhat expected in a city hotel. The elevator is very small and stairs up to the room are spiral and narrow.

- fantastic customer care from hotel staff. Special thanks to Lilit. It was the 2nd time that we are staying in this hotel. This time the room we received was less nice comparing to the first. After hearing our complaint, Lilit proposed 2 other rooms as options for us to choose (without any extra cost). We chose the one on the 6th floor with Eiffel Tower view. - beautiful view over the city and the Eiffel Tower from the room. - nearby underground parking (5 min walk). Lilit suggested to book online since it is cheaper - approx. 25 EUR/day. - lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. - metro station at 5 min walk

- noise in the room coming from hall and other rooms - no parking place in front of the hotel for dropping-off luggage.

Clean and tidy. Staff friendly and polite.

The rooms were quite small and slightly dated, but we didn’t spend much time in the room so not too bothered. The location was in quite an expensive part of Paris, great if you want theatres but not so much if you are on a budget.

Very friendly staff and good service. Very clean with change og linned and towels every day. Close to metro, restaurants and shopping (like at most hotels in Paris)

Rooms are quite small and breakfast area not appealing (looks too much like a cold cantine)
