Mercure Tbilisi Old Town

Wonderful smelling in the lobby. Super nice lobby staff. Room cleaning. Two bottle of water every day. Very nice Sky7 bar.

The breakfast could be little been diversified (smokes salmon in some days for example). The grilled bacon was to much dry. Our check in was about 3 a.m. next day but charge was for all day.

Location is top, staff is super hospitable and friendly. Room was clean, nice and spacious

View from the room was a construction-side next door and not really very nice. Roof terrace is only open when the bar upstairs is open and that is a pity because I believe I could have had a spectacular view if I was allowed to enter the roof terrace.

I enjoyed my stay at Mercure Tbilisi. Nina was helpful at check in, and the room was exactly like on the website. Room was clean with a lot of light during day. Location is great, everything just few minutes walking distance from the hotel. I also enjoyed the food at their restaurant; Luca and Nina were amazing thank you everyone. The sky bar was a plus and it is a nice place to relax.

I observed that they are many dogs outside the hotel and it was a bit noisy, however, I noticed there are many dogs on the streets in the city too.

Skybar was very nice and cozy. Skybar staff made great drinks and the bar food was nice. The Adobe Steak Restaurant on the bottom floor was a nice value for the money. Adobe staff were very pleasant and the attention to detail was evident in the meal. Entry to the hotel and lobby area always smelled spa-like and refreshing.

Gym was lacking in free weights. Barbells only went to 10kg. With a bit more attention, the gym could be really great. Some of the throw rugs in the entry/lobby need to be replaced. Not sure why no one can see how worn-out the rugs are? Definitely takes away from my first impression and 4 star status of the hotel. With a simple replacement, the change in rugs would make a well-deserved improvement.

The location of the hotel is excellent as only a short walk away from downtown Tbilisi. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and had a nice atmosphere throughout. The staff on reception were excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Unfortunately the Sky Lounge, which could have been very pleasant to sit in and have a drink, was full of smokers. Disappointing as it has great views of the city at night.

The location of the hotel was amazing

We liked everything about the property except to our surprise when we reached the hotel we were told to carry our baggage to our room it seems the hotel did not had bell boys service. However, as were accompanied with a child. One of the receptionist (Iravili/Irakli) stepped forward and helped us get the baggage to our room. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Iravili & Salome for arranging a birthday sweet for my daughter. We’d also like to thank one of the housekeeping staff for helping us with a travel adaptor as when we asked at the reception the receptionist told us that they don’t have one. But rest of the staff were okay as most of them were hardly smiling and looked to be low in spirit especially the ones at the restaurant.

Everything was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I requested to check in in the same rooms we had in our last visit 6 years ago and they were able to arrange it for us. They tried the maximum to make our stay wonderful as it was. Toilets have "Shattaf" which is suitable for Muslims

Nothing at all

The property is in great location in the heart of old town. If you want value for money and to have peace of mind, then this is the place. Staff is super helpful especially the lady on the reception who helped us with our PCR tests and ensured to get the report on time. It has a beautiful sky lounge on the 6 floor over looking the river and other major attractions. Fully recommended.

The only issue which I faced across Georgia and not only in this hotel that there is no bell boy culture and you have to carry your own luggage. It sometimes become difficult with the kids as you might need some help. Although the security guy at the entrance helped us but I guess that was not his job but thanks to him.

The staff were very helpful in assisting us with everything as we do not speak Georgian. They all helped with getting taxis for us even using their personal phones. In addition, the location of the hotel is walking distance from many activities and restaurants & cafes.

We really enjoyed our stay here starting from the transportation from the airport to the hotel on a Mercedes-Benz, a late night check-in and a very friendly staff speaking both Russian and English. The facilities included automatic hand sanitizers all over the hotel and an instant thermometer at the entrance inside for anyone to check their body temperature. We had lots of bath amenities and beverages in the fridge in our hotel number so we could hydrate and stay cool. Plus we asked to refill those whenever we needed and it was completely free of charge. The 24/7 room service and free breakfasts we also included, in the restaurant downstairs we enjoyed Euro 2020 as well as our meals! There was a huge bed in our number and amazing view at the rock on the opposite bank of river Kura. Cannot recommend the privilege number enough! Definitely worth the bang for the buck!

Not that it was poor quality, quite the opposite, it’s just that we’d enjoy a harder mattress, since the bed felt a bit too soft for us, but again, it’s very subjective.
