Very nice breakfast with local food , kind stuff who helped with breakfast Beautiful breathtaking view from swimming pool The room was super great and clean

I was very upset with no help to make some surprise for my husband who had a birthday in day we was coming …I asked stuff about a sigh of attention from them side for my birthday husband like a glass of Georgian vine for example… ..everyone knows about Georgia its a great vine region and the vine there is no problems.. But the stuff said - we can not do it ..,just if you will pay ., I guess if guests who spend 200 euro for the night deserve more hospitality and attention from the stuff especially if guests have a special day. I have an opinion that’s the level of management leaves much to be desired

Beautiful room, nicely decorated and a huge bed. The views were great from the room but also multiple terraces that we could use. The pool was a bonus. All members of staff incredibly friendly.

When we asked for housekeeping, only the bed was done but they did not replace coffee cups , did not replenish tea bags or toiletries . Also when we asked for a take away breakfast as we had an early start to catch a plane, day time member of staff assured this can be done however the night staff apologised and said they can only prepare for us bread and jam at 4-5am which wasn’t convenient . Kind of them to try and help but that’s not what we were promised otherwise we would have bought some food to take with us . The pool was not overly clean.

The location of the property is fantastic, right in the middle of the centre of Tbilisi, 10mins walking to reach everywhere, freedom square, Europe square, right down at the bottom ofoth of Georgia. The hotel is literally converted from an old castle, well maintained and with lots of personal collection as well. Hotel staff, Tamar and Giogi is the receptionist who received me. They are very friendly and helpful. Tamar was extreme nice to my 4-year-old daughter, she also provided info and booked tour for us.

The only pity is that I booked bouble bed room (the smallest room in their selection), which is located on the ground floor, right in front of the hotel entrance. The room is dark, without any natural sunlight, and it is not sound proof so it is very noise if guests pass by, or talk. And the terrace is un-usable since there is no view, it is blocked by a semi-open wall.

Everything!! Our room - the Armory room was absolutely beautiful and gave us the Royal Medieval feeling. So did the rest of the property!! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Georgi who Welcomed us at arrival gave us a tour of the property which was so nice. He was along with his colleagues an excellent ambassador for the lovely hotel and Tbilisi. The garden is AMAZING!! An oasis filled with history, harmony and beauty! We loved spending time there, sunbathing and dipping in the pool everyday before and after exploring the beautiful city of Tbilisi.

The castle is gorgeous and all rooms are nicely decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful specially Andro. The hotel is located in the Old Town which makes it a nice spot to visit the city center. We spent 2 days in the suite and it was gigantic,

Unfortunately if you arrive with your car it is a bit tricky to find parking. Moreover you need to climb few stairs to reach the hotel. Bringing up the luggage was not a problem because the staff helped us

Staying at the Castle Hotel in Tbilisi was like stepping into the pages of history. Nestled in a structure from the 10th century, the ambiance is an enthralling blend of ancient majesty and modern luxury. The hosts, Giorgi, Lucca and Ilia, elevated the experience with his unparalleled hospitality and depth of knowledge about the castle's storied past. To sleep within walls that have witnessed a millennium and to be cared for by such a devoted host is a memory which I will cherish forever. Truly, a 10-star journey back in time! Highly recommended!

Beautyful hotel. I like design, decorations, It’s unique castle style which ever met from another hotel. Hotel staffs very nice and helpful. We have to thank you ‘Giorgi’ a bell boy who help us to carry 7x heavy luggage’s up to the hotel and down to hotel when we check out as well as reception ‘Tamari’ and ‘Gorge’ who very nice with us. We can leave our luggage’s and be back for them later. Btw, we love breakfast also.

I don’t like the difficulty of entrance. it’s located in blind alley and have to climb up to many stairs to hotel. Din’t recommend for elderly people who have leg problems.

It was really nice experience living in a real castle. In the room you can find everything you need. It was really warm inside because it has central heating. Clean and has new bathroom facilities. The best example how to make modern and comfortable room in old building and also leave its historical sharm. In the room you can see a piece of real castle floor (on the photo). Personal is really helpful and polite. The hotel itself is in a real castle and not directly accessible from the street. To access it, you have to take some stairs, because the castle is built on a rock formation (be aware if you have heavy suitcases). Thanks to the excellent quality of service provided by Tornike and Giorgi, who, by the way, completely took care of carrying the luggage from the street to the room and vice versa, we were able to enjoy our stay in this very beautiful place as much as possible. Definitely if we come again we'll stay there.

Amazing, beautifully-restored 16th century castle, right in the heart of old-town Tbilisi. Sympathetically restored historic building with interesting art throughout and stunning views of the city. Each room is unique, although we did not see all of them - our rooms were spacious, comfortable (great beds), exceptionally clean, with surprisingly spacious and well-equipped bathrooms (loved our bathroom). The infinity pool is at the top of the castle, afforded spectacular panoramic views of the city with clean, cool and refreshing water. We anticipate the owner has identified the pool-side seating as a future project, and would suggest some options for shade. Breakfast exceeded expectations, with lots of fresh, local produce and Georgian cuisine. The Castle in Old Town also organised a four day wine tour of Georgia, with driver and English-speaking guide. Both the driver and guide were exceptional - knowledgeable about Georgia, entertaining, and warm and welcoming. A very well-priced tour. Loved our unique and thoroughly-Georgian experience, so pleased we stayed here.

It is very hard to find any fault in this amazing hotel. A couple of minor comments: 1. For those booking this hotel - be aware that there are very steep, long, uneven steps and this may cause difficulties to people with mobility issues or those with young children. 2. The coffee was not great - often cold, and the pot empty (such a minor thing) but one I am sure the owner will rectify with feedback. The owner is very present in the business and cares deeply about his clients' experience in his hotel.

From the very first minute of our stay at the hotel, we liked absolutely everything! All issues that arose were resolved in just a minute. 1. Wonderful pool with a breathtaking view 2. the atmosphere of the castle 3. delicious breakfasts, very different from the ones we experienced in Georgia.They even cooked vegan pancakes specially for us . 4. the most important thing is the hospitality of the hotel staff. Thank you Nika, Giorgi, George! it was an amazing vacation, we will surely come back one day !
