Great location (if this is where you want to be), 24 hour front desk with good security (they always checked my name and room number when I returned late at night) and the most pleasant and helpful of staff. Don't be put off by the location - it is perfectly safe as long as you don't behave stupidly.....just like any other city in the world.

For me, the hot component of the breakfast has really gone downhill - cheap and tasteless ingredients - and the cold meats appear even worse. This is not how it was in the past. And they still have that awful chemical orange juice and coffee. Now I just have some fruit and yoghurt, at most. My advice is not to stay here just because of the 'free' breakfast - it is not 'free' as you are paying for it in the room rate. But by all means stay for the many other benefits as referred to above.

Perfect breakfast, fantastic staff, great location and good value

Behind the wall of my room, workers were working. Although you don't have a chance to sleep during the day in Athens (because you have to use every moment of the day), but this was a negative point for my room. Also I found a cockroach in the room.

The location was excellent, close to the underground metro, only a few minutes walk through a nice street (Maps did not do a good job guiding us there, however; not to be trusted). The room was fine, the bed was comfortable, and everything clean. Breakfast was also good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a nice restaurant down the hill, Alexander the Great, and a great coffee shop/restaurant on the top floor of Hondos, the shopping mall by the Metro. Walking to the attractions was also possible.

The neighborhood on the other side of the hotel is not great, with some shady people and dirty streets. The Maps on our phones took us through there initially. The whole area in the other direction was great.

The place and everything about ia just perfect. Price was amazing to spend 2 days at the hotel, room is very comfy bed as well. Has a very nice bathroom with a very nice large tub 🛀that took me entirely. Room has everything except the only 1 things they don't 😂 which is a kettle. I don't why, because this is the second time for me in Athens and the second hotel and still no kettle. Anyway, can't complain about anything. Breakfast was nice filles with everything you can imagine. Place is very close to the Underground, also close to lots of stores which you can buy cheap stuff. Overall Athens is cheap and full with lots of food and coffee.

1) Central location, all the main tourist attractions are close 2) There are quite many places to eat just nearby 3) Breakfast is really good, it can definitely keep you full till dinner 4) Staff is kind ☺️ 5) It's a cheap deal for Athens

1) There are 2 ways to go to the hotel, the first one is okay, the second one is kinda dangerous, especially at night. There are lots of suspicious men there ;( so pls make sure to double-check the route on your first day 2) Air conditioning can be controlled only by the reception, you can't change temperature by yourself

It is a nice hotel. The price/performance ratio is great. The location is very good. Less than one kilometre to the most central square in the city. Omonia Square and the metro station are 150 m away. My room was nice and clean. The Bathroom good. The brakfast was tasty; One day I had to leave the hotal very early in the morning and the did an early breakfast at 5am (there were many guests who had to leave at the same time to catch the busses to Marathon)! The staff is very friendly and I spoke a lot to the guy at the reception. He had some really good recommendations. All in all, I can say that if I go back to Athens, the first hotel I will look for a room at will be this one again.

There was nothing I really didn't like. At most the narrow streets next to the hotel don't seem very safe. But they were easy to avoid in the dark.

Nice and responsive staff. The rooms and breakfast on offer were excellent considering the price. The location is ideal to explore the entire city due to the metro station nearby. The district the hotel is in (Omonia) is described as pretty rough in basically any Athens travel guide on the internet, but, while it's definitely not a nice neighborhood, it was perfectly safe and fine to walk through in our experience.

Blow driers on our floor were very loud and, paradoxically, pretty ineffective, at least in our room.

It was inexpensive, yet the room was large enough, beds were comfy. The receptionists were very nice and helpful. After checking out we were allowed to leave our luggage at the reception and picked them up later, which was a huge help for us. It is very close to the Omonia metro station, thus reaching the city center and important places were easy. Though the area looked a bit dangerous, we didn't have any bad experiences, so it was safe eventually.

The breakfast was average and served from 7 am-10 am, but one morning at 8 am many items were already gone and not refilled. The staff at the breakfast were unkind and unhelpful.

Central location within walking distance to the Acropolis. Nice to have hot water from basin taps. Good to have a balcony, good size room and enough power points. One staff member in particular was extremely helpful. Provided us with excellent directions and suggestions on where to eat and shop. Absolutely spot on. Didn't get her name, but she had dark hair and i think rode a motor bike. Big thanks to her. Good breakfast. Good size shower Plenty of blankets and pillows.

Wish we had a kettle in the room. The air con was weird, didn't seem to be adjustable. Was set on 25 but constantly blew cold air. Ended up having to turn it off. But not a big problem as we just opened the balcony door

A good hotel in a great location for seeing the sites and enjoying Athens The reception staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and my room was comfortable, clean and secure. It is less than 4 minutes walk from the Metro station and there are buses from Omonia Square. The Metro is a direct non-stop line from Piraeus Harbour. ** I have seen much written about the area, but I felt fine walking around, I went out at night and ate and had a beer (admittedly I was back by 9 pm having walked the city during the day) .... Just take the normal precautions that you would in any big city and you will have a great stay I will have no problems in booking again when I am in Athens.
