Blend Hotel

The hotel has a perfect location in a lively part of central Athens, full buzz and great restaurants. The check-in process was easy and smooth and the room very smart and comfortable. We loved the welcoming touches: the nice bar of chocolate and the great big comfy bed for our dog. And the huge TV with zillions of channels was very nice too.

We did not particularly like the frosted glass doors to the toilet and shower areas They looked smart, but made a terrible noise when you tried to open them - particularly annoying if you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Anyone else asleep in the room was certain to be awakened by the noise.

What I liked was the really friendly and helpful staff and the large quiet bedroom with lots of style and great amenities.

A very small choice at the buffet for breakfast. Very little in the way of fresh fruit, yogurt etc

Location, cleanliness, new installations, close to main tourist sites, close to the metro and buses, plenty of restaurants and shops, great people taking care of you perhaps there’s not receptionist, hight tech but easy to use to open doors and luggage room, strong and fast WiFi, affordable, soundproof, excellent shower, comfy beds and pillows, in short… great!

Breakfast price, bathroom and shower walls made of non transparent glass, but makes you feel uncomfortable if you’re sharing the room with a sister or mother, being you a man, if you need to use it while they’re in the room. Not a deal breaker, in general Bob W is a excellent place to stay in Athens

Central and attractive location. the breakfast room/restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. the staff were wonderful, taking lots of time, even, to investigate our door left open (we did it!).

We really needed a soap tray and toiletries shelf in the shower. design doesn’t compensate for reaching for soap on the floor. my husband was crazy because our room had no place to hang towels or pajamas. Those details make a difference of stress over a several-day stay, as if the management doesn’t stay in the rooms and lack understanding. I’ll add that, with dust allergies, the curtains were a bit dusty. That said, we liked all else about our stay and hope to go to a Blend hotel again ( with hooks and soap holders, please).

Great location, extremely convenient from Monastiraki station (perfect to and from Piraeus port and the Airport). Hotel is relatively new and nicely kept, room was big (as well as the bed), very comfortable and well insulated from external noise.

Very honestly: included breakfast service is highly unsatisfactory and not matching the level of the hotel. It really needs to be improved, since the food prepared by the catering company, as well as what is available in the breakfast room, is qualitatively insufficient. Unfortunately there was some really unpleasant smell in the room (from the water pipes/sewer?).

This hotel is in the perfect location, in a pedestrian only area. Tons of shops, restaurants, outdoor cafes, gelato !! And you can walk to the Acropolis ! it's a little bit of a hike but doable. Also a short walk to the hop on hop off bus stop (red line). The hotel staff was very helpful and personable. The breakfast was great! Eggs, cheese, rolls, yogurt, fruit, meat & a very attentive staff. My room was quite spacious with a large bathroom. The only reason I rated the "how quiet was your room' a bit lower was because of the location across from a church, who's bells went off once every 1/2 hour and chimed the hours (but not all night) . But you got used to that pretty quickly & how much time are you actually spending in your room when there's so much to see and do! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There was honestly nothing I did not like about this hotel.

I was particularly impressed by the staff. Always with a smile, always there to try to help. I want to personally thank Maria who helped/directed us to sites and places to eat/hear music. Also I enjoyed our conversations with her. Her attitude is so bright and positive. The staff at breakfast work hard and also we're super friendly with a smile on their faces. The room/suite is lovely with a great view of the Acropolis and surrounding area. The hotel is in a perfect area within a few minutes of Monastiraki Square. So easy to get around.

We didn't like the coffee at breakfast which was served in pots and was not hot or drinkable. The shower in our bathroom worked the opposite to our expectations. When turning on the water comes out by default from the shower head and not the shower hand. You have to physically pull the plug first for it to switch the shower hand. This is an inconvenience since the water starts to fall directly on you (cold and wet) before you divert to the shower hand. All other places it is the opposite.

Rooms are modern, bed is superior level and air condition works really well and silently. USB-port charging connections are available. Fresh pressed juice, fruits are available. That's good. Breakfast food has been prepared a while earlier, served in the box and was not tasty. Luggage room is there and tiny lobby is really comfortable.

Fabulous breakfast is not that fabulous. Better be prepared to take breakfast somewhere outside of the hotel. However, they try and it s a bit better than just papersack breakfast. Whether not expecting too much, it was good overall.

Very modern and clean—generally pretty comfortable.

The superior room doesn’t have a bathroom, specifically. There are both a shower and a toilet but they are separated with frosted glass doors—so if you are traveling with someone you aren’t intimate or very comfortable with—it can be awkward. My friend and I left the room while the other showered but when either of us needed to use the toilet that wasn’t always an option. Also the A/C seemed to keep changing or switching off even when we were in the room—but admittedly we didn’t ask the front desk about it.

Nice, newer Boutique hotel. Pretty close to Monasteraki Square by foot abt 10 min as well as to the luxury boutique center. It’s quite a small and unassuming property, yet when we got to the room it’s impressively clean, modern design and very spacious. The host is very gracious to attend to our inquiries for food refs and transfer arrangement. Breakfast included at the Folk restaurant at the Ist floor was an experience. It’s set meal each day, simple yet very filling and nicely served, staff too was very pleasant and accomodating.

The property is in close proximity to a church which routinely ring its bells every hour or so. There is a cafe infront of the hotel closes shortly hours after midnight and frequent truck loading and unloading supplies to nearby establishment. If you’re constantly out to explore Athens and is beat after all long day, ready to dose off soon as you get back and is not sensitive to noise, this a great place to stay due to the hospitality of the staff and its chic and inviting rooms.
