Athens Starlight Hotel

- Excellent location in the heart of Athens.The surrounding streets are crammed with traditional tavernas and restaurants, many with Acropolis views. - The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. - They pay attention to detail in their breakfast with all their items being freshly made and delicious. It is a very nice hotel the staff are so kind and helpful. Would recommend to go and visit here add this to your tour of Greece.

Great choice, thanks for making our Athens experience wonderful. The staff is awesome, one of the best! :) Breakfast is awesome, we were always waiting for the mornings. :) Maybe the coffe could be a bit stronger (for my taste at least) but it was perfect to start the day. Kudos for the Guys in the restaurant, them and the reception Team were Superb! Cleaning was spotless, the lady in shift this weekend was so nice, thank you for Her too. Ευχαριστώ! We had the first room on the top floor, it was a bit wierd, that all Guest could access that balcony. No big issue, just risky, if someone is sleeping in the room and others decide to make a gathering with a bit of noise. :)

Modern hotel, good facilities. Breakfast OK. Ideally located for Monastraki station giving easy access to both airport & Piraeus port.

Room we had had a double size bath with jets with both a waterfall shower & hand held shower head. Difficult to stand underneath waterfall shower because of shape of the bottom of the bath. Whichever shower head you opted for it was impossible to prevent water spraying over bath side & cause a puddle that ran into toilet cabinet. No drawer space. Our safety deposit box didn’t work due to flat better in locking system. This was rectified by receptionist giving us the key rather than get battery replaced.

After a long week of exploring Greece, I decided to book Athens Starlight Hotel (since it's located in the center) for my last stop before heading back home to Crete and honestly, it was the best decision ever! Located in a pretty quiet area, I couldn't ask for more than to end the day with a good night's sleep. I'd like to extend my deepest appreciation to the receptionist, who was patient enough to answer all of my inquiries (which were a lot), for all the recommendations, and for all the assistance. From the moment I entered the building, leading to the room, to every nook and cranny, everything was absolutely spotless!! Moving on to the breakfast buffet, I was absolutely stunned by all the varieties, which of course I tried all. Everything was freshly prepared and made to perfection. Lastly, I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the rest of the staff! Unfortunately, my stay was cut short, but I'll surely be returning in the near future.

The breakfast buffet was really good with good selections although we're disappointed that the coffee was not ready when we ate. The location is excellent. You can walk to the Acropolis. There are several restaurants nearby and the Hop on Hop off bus stops at Monastiraki which is only a few blocks away. Luna- the evening desk staff was so nice. It was pouring rain when we checked in. She let us borrow umbrellas when we had to go out for dinner. Since we were leaving @ 230am the next day & won't be able to eat breakfast, the morning desk staff arranged for us to have a boxed snack to go. That's was greatly appreciated.

The shower has no door, so if you're not careful, water will splash to the bathroom floor. The small double door elevator.

Everything was perfect, from the wonderful staff to the good breakfast, comfy beds, very modern. I could even say it was a low 4-star hotel. The placement is really good, 2 mins from Monastiraki square, where you have everything you need: restaurants, shops, market, and metro. If we come back, we will definitely stay here again. Will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Athens.

The only bad thing, which was minor, was the bathroom vent. It was a little loud and was some unpleasant smell, but nothing too excessive.

Situated in the heart of Athens, the hotel provided convenient access to numerous attractions, offering stunning views and easy exploration of the city. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, very good price in a very good located hotel , the room was very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds and pillows and the bathroom very clean. The breakfast have a lot to choose from in a very relaxing atmosphere and ample hours, so don't have to rush it. The hotel is placed in a very good location with lots of views and things to do around. So far, staying at Athens Starlight was the best experience I had and I would happily come back in the summer.

A comfortable hotel close to some of the main tourist spots in Athens. Rooms have been refurbished to a good standard. Not very big but if you are out all day sightseeing is not an issue. Bed was very comfortable and tea, coffee facilities with a small fridge was a bonus. Breakfast choices were a bit the same every day but there were plenty of options in the area if you wanted a change of menu. Staff were very helpful and obliging.

Hotel was on a non traffic street so taxi could not drop you at the front door but rather at the end of the street which wasn't far but if you had a few bags it could be a problem.

Only stayed one night, but felt the hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness were great. A traveling companion had her luggage lost and so I spoke to reception a couple of times about looking out in case it came. They were very empathetic and tried to provide suggestions to assist in the predicament. The location of the hotel was in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of many al fresco seating restaurants (in May). The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable (although I was pretty tired so that helped).

The room is a bit on the small side, with not much area to manuveur. A visiting friend actually hit their shin on the the bed corner when trying to navigate around it
