Easy to get to from the airport, in great location we were worried that it would be noisy on the ground floor facing the road, but didn't seem to be too bad. We booked late, so don't think it was the best room in the building but I think the ones higher up are a winner! The room was super clean, and the bathroom was lovely. We also needed to print a passenger locator form, which 'invisible' reception (via booking.com) kindly helped us out with and brought it over.

The bed was a little too soft/bouncy for us.

Whoever I was communicating with was wonderful! So helpful in every way. I had so many questions and they answered them all very kindly and quickly. We decided at the last minute to get taxis to the apartment from the airport and then to the cruise ship two days later. Every time it was handled beautifully. We had an amazingly fun and talented driver, Lena both times. The view from atop the apartment was incredible! Cute little apartment with a tiny kitchen that had a lot of amenities. In the bathroom hot water was readily available and came through quickly. We would highly recommend this apartment!! (Just be ready for stairs 😊)

The only thing was the stairs up to our room at the top. Holy moly. It was crazy , but we made it and it will be one of those things we will talk about for years to come and laugh.

Great location and very comfortable beds. The location outweighed all the little things that I didn't like. Also, the staff was very courteous. We greatly appreciated that we were able to store our luggage in the basement after checkout and before we had to leave for our flight back home.

The shower needed more of an enclosure. It was very hard not to get water all over the bathroom. Also, I thought we would get a bathtub. This was disappointing. Also, the wine glasses had not been washed. It would be nice to have a sitting area. The larger bedroom had space for 2 chairs and a small table. We just had to all sit on the bed when we were hanging out in the apartment.

Location was great for sightseeing and for easy access to public transport, just a 5 min walk from Syntagma Square and easy to navigate. Room was large with a coffee machine, kettle and fridge (although the fridge was rather noisy and I had to unplug it at night). Door code process worked well to access the room and I was pleased to see that once in the room there was a key which, when used, prevented access with the door code, meaning others with the code couldn’t make a surprise entrance.

Although the street was a small street, it received a surprising amount of through traffic, including at night. My room was right on the street so it could be a bit noisy, I used earplugs and this solved the problem for me so was not a big issue, but may be a factor for light sleepers. Similarly the light from the emergency exit light by the door would have been an issue had I not brought an eye mask.

The easy check in was great and the size of one room of the apartment was fabulous. That room was really nice. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The host and location were just excellent. (I had no problem with street noise whatsoever.) Although there were a few issues (see below), I'd surely stay again and recommend because of location, condition of the place, price, and host. Indeed, the price was good, especially for its position on the edge of Plaka. It is really just what anybody should want visiting Athens.

The second bedroom, with two bunk beds was smaller than expected. The bathroom shower leaked and made the floor wet after every shower. Probably solved with more enclosed shower.

The check-in/check-out experience was very smooth. The owners allowed us a slightly later check-in as well as space to store our luggage for a few hours afterwards. The location is excellent, right near the botanic gardens. The apartment itself had lovely high ceilings, a lot of space and a charming balcony. The natural light in the apartment was also excellent.

The overall quality of the apartment (furnishings, consumables, bathroom facilities) was reasonably good, however the listing and the photos gave the impression that the apartment would be quite luxurious and better appointed than it actually was. There was no couch/or chairs to sit on in the room (instead there were two extra single beds, which would be great for groups of 3-4). There was no conditioner in the bathrooms. There was also some mould in the shower. Overall though, these things were small negatives on what really was a nice and comfortable apartment. Had I not expected something more luxurious I would not have been bothered by these minor issues.

The location was excellent. We were able to walk to everything with our family (2 adults, 11 year old, and 9 year old). The espresso machine was fantastic. And we loved the balcony in the mornings and evenings.

There was no silverware, however, that wasn't a problem because we packed utensils. They had cute glass coffee/tea cups, little plates, wine glasses, and bowls.

The location is fantastic! The heart of Plaka is less than 5 minutes away. The communication from the host is second to none. Replied to messages in minutes and super friendly. The accommodation has great facilities, they provide a mini fridge, a kettle, a great range of teas and a coffee machine with pods. Complimentary toiletries (soap and shampoo also provided). The cleaner was very polite and friendly. Air conditioning was effective. A unit per room. It is lovely to have access to the court yard, especially for any smokers etc. They allowed us to check in a few hours early which was very appreciated. Very spacious accommodation and provides everything that is needed.

These are small gripes when considering the price, location and friendly service but the building is old. Beautiful but old nonetheless. There is some cosmetic water damage to some walls and the doors are very loud. We could hear neighbour's entering and exiting at all hours, and I am sure they could hear us. The road can be a little loud if you are not used to trafic, but it is a city and road noise is to be expected.

The location was amazing. Everything that I wanted to do with my son was about a 7-10min walk away. I booked this place because I didn’t want to have to rely on transportation services and it did not disappoint! Close to Temple of Olympian Zeus where our tour of the ruins began and Athens Gate, where we had dinner with a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Each morning we tried a new cafe for breakfast as the hotel is surrounded by food. The gentlemen running Karma Athens are friendly and helpful. If you need anything they are happy to provide.

TV was a little small to view from bed but we were not in the room much anyway.

Very clean and perfectly furnished. The owner didn't go cheap on anything when setting up those apartments - nothing is sub-standard. I had a couple of extra requests during my stay and I was very pleasantly surprised, how prompt and forthcoming the owner was in fulfilling them. The location is probably the best - it very close to both the historic centre, the parks and the airport transit bus. Plenty of services all around and yet it's not noisy. I didn't hear a sound from the neighbours. And it's facing a street that's not frequented. There is no reception, so you better agree in advance on your time of arrival and door access code delivery, but the owner is responding very quickly to the booking messaging.

The room could be a bit bigger.
