Location. It was right in the heart of everything. Right outside the door and to the left were restaurants, ice cream parlor, and a small convenience booth. The staff was accommodating in holding my luggage as I took a 3 night tour before leaving on my cruise. Breakfast was included, and it was much more than a continental breakfast; you just had to select from the posted menu. The rooms are spacious. There was bottled water, coffee, tea, as well as wine; all included. I will stay again on my next visit to Athens and highly recommend Plaka Arch Suites. Be sure to enjoy your wine on the rooftop terrace with an excellent view of the Athens Acropolis.

My stay was too short.

Plaka Arch Suites ticked all the boxes for me. Our room was beautiful looking out onto the main street below. The room was very spacious with a good sized bathroom. The room was spotless and extra touches included was a nice bottle of Red Wine on our arrival plus an Espresso Machine in our room which was replenished daily. The staff were exceptional as we had a small issue with a lost passport and the staff went over and beyond to help us out. Breakfast was really nice with plenty to choose from, fruit, yogurt, omelette etc.

Nothing - everything was perfect.

Great location, full breakfast included, and it’s generous. Some rooms exceptionally large with balconies. High ceilings, good bones to a gracious if a little spare former private mansion. Nicely updated bathrooms. staff was available, kind, helpful, hospitable. Felt homey and authentic.

one of our rooms wasn’t fully cleaned on arrival—wet towel left hanging in the bathroom and no liner in the bathroom trash bin, which is yucky since in Greece you can’t flush tp and have to toss it in the bin. Not to have a liner seemed unsanitary. breakfast area is sweet but HOT since AC compressors vent there. Very little effort at room decor. Wifi was slow.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was huge, great water pressure, fully stocked with all toiletries, plus robes and slippers. There was a nespresso for morning coffee, and 2 water bottles included. The bed was quite comfortable, and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. The hotel is steps away from great shopping and restaurants, and a very short walk from the acropolis and several other historic sites. We had no problem getting a cab to the airport in the morning from right outside the front door. Breakfast was wonderful and convenient. There was a printed list of made-to-order egg/protein options. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, served with a delicious green salad. My husband ordered fried eggs with sausage. Both were delicious and fresh. There was also a buffet table full of fresh pastries and baked goods, Greek yogurt with lots of topping options, and fruit. Far exceeded expectations for hotel breakfast!

It was a little difficult to figure out how to check in. There is no lobby for this particular building, so you have to go to the building next door, which is their sister hotel. There is a second floor office there with very friendly and helpful staff. Luckily the man working at the little shop next to our hotel was able to direct me where to go. No big deal, but I do think instructions would have been helpful in the confirmation email. It is nice to have access to the hotel next door, though, because they have an incredible rooftop view of the acropolis! Beautiful at night.

Location was perfect in the Plaka area. Easy to walk to restaurants, shopping and tourist attraction. Room was spacious. The little balcony was cute! Air conditioner. Hair dryer. Coffee machine with kettle for tea too. Netflix on TV. Comfortable king bed. Breakfast included was a big bonus, especially choice of cooked dishes. The staff couldn’t be more helpful! Roof top terrace across the road at sister hotel with view to Acropolis. Amazing!

Overlooking the covered breakfast area, room 101 was dark. But nothing you can do about that. It was a great room.

Location is perfect - genuinely right in the heart of Plaka and so many landmarks a short walk away. Old streets, hidden squares and amazing cafes everywhere. The building itself is amazing and recently renovated. There isn’t a lift, but there was an immediate offer of help to take up our cases. The roof terrace in the room (junior suite) which we had was nothing short of breathtaking (and yes - with unobstructed Acropolis view). The bed was super comfortable, the room spacious and the bathroom features two (!) walk-in showers. Finally, the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Make no mistake - this hotel is outstanding value and quality. The only thing missing from the room (as a junior suite) was a sofa - but that is nit-picking and we will not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel was situated at a very good location and had a lift which made it easier to carry the bags to 2nd floor. Dimitri, the manager was very sweet. She guided us about shopping areas of the city, arranged early morning cab to the ferry port. She was kind enough to come to our room to help with the heater issue. Bathroom was quite spacious. Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, groceries within walking distance.

Room was bit smaller. Balcony had very limited view (but most of other places were same in the area). Wifi coverage was low in certain areas of the room. Could find the access to thr rooftop area overlooking the Acropolis as shown in the main picture.

The location was perfect! Very close to all the major Athens attractions and the Plaka neighborhood. The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was nice and had all the main things you’d want. I would definitely recommend this property!

Check in was a little confusing because we had to go to the sister property next door. I didn’t recall seeing those instructions anywhere, so we had to call to figure out how to check in. Once that was sorted, everything was great though!

Stayed in the suite with the private roof terrace - fantastic amount of space and wonderful to sit in the hot tub looking to the Acropolis.

Bedroom was large but fairly bare in terms of furnishing - but with the roof terrace that’s where we spent most of our time when at the property. Owner may like to consider adding a sun umbrella to the roof terrace which would have helped with such high temperatures during our stay.

Breakfast was exceptional, staff introduced themselves, showed us to our room and we received a complimentary bottle of wine. Housekeeping each day was of a high standard

When we booked it was Indicated the rooftop on Our building was available and had a hot tub. This has changed on our arrival and was unavailable. It would have been a great sanctuary from the heat of available so a little disappointing.
