Mari Kristin Beach Hotel

The food was very good, a big variety for breakfast and dinner. The options varied every meal so it was never the same. Traditional dishes amongst others so it catered for everybody's tastes. The local wine was fantastic to have with your evening meal. The hotel staff were very nice to talk to and made you feel comfortable. Marina and Antoni in the restaurant made every meal a pleasant experience. The reception staff were helpful with giving advice on how to get to places and what the best mode of transportation would be. The beach is a one minute walk away and with a big variety of restaurants located with good views of the sea and beaches. The room had air conditioning and the bed was massive with comfy pillows. Centrally located on the island so it was really no bother to go and visit other towns. Overall a fantastic experience for the price.

not much to complain about. But if anything the pool was quite small although never busy, the beach is around the corner so need to go to the pool to be honest.

Staff is friendly. Facilities are new and modern. Common areas are very comfortable. Hotel is near to restaurant and pubs area.

Room could be cleaner, specially the bathroom. Beaches near the hotel are very crowded and small, so you need to drive to a different location. We had breakfast and dinner included, however drinks are not included in dinner, not even water, so keep that on mind for your budget planning.

The hotel is 20 meters from the beach. At the hotel beach you can rent a set of 2 sunbeds and umbrella for 9,50€ total. It's very convenient. The beach is small, you should go early morning. They have a travel agency too, fair prices for transfers, excursions and cars rental. Good variety of food, both for breakfast and dinner. Everyday there are at least 2 or 3 typical Greek meals and was so much appreciated. The staff is the icing on the cake, they are welcoming, kind and always smiling!

They make up your room every day, but they only make the bed and mop floors in the bedroom. During our stay (8 nights), they never cleaned the bathroom. It's something they really should improve. It's quite unhygienic. I'd suggest to keep the breakfast till 10,30, considering people might wake up a bit later when on vacation.

The hotel is great. Clean with excellent service, especially Katarina front the reception helped is with every thing and was very kind. The location of the hotel is thw middle of everything near to all and from other side is very quite. I will comeback agine 100%. Thanks.

Good value for the amount we paid , also good location,clean room ,close to city center and beach.

If you want to access a nicer beach you will need a car to move around. In some evenings ,food could be better.

It is very close to the sea. The staff is very nice and halpefull. We had buffet at the breakfast and dinner and it was very delicious, with local and fresh food.Very comfortable bed and beautiful room.

No private parking but you can find some near by

Fabulous hotel with amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly and incredibly helpful, particularly Katerina who went out of her way to upgrade us to a suite. So kind!

The only thing that wasn't perfect was the lack of a beautiful beach. There is a beach but it's very small, mostly rocks. There are beautiful beaches nearby so we hired a car and visited the whole island. This doesn't really reflect on the hotel though, which was fantastic.

the bed and pillows could have been of better quality, the shower leaked all over the floor requiring us to use a towel to mop it all up

The location was great, between the beach and the main street for shopping, cafes, etc. Gorgeous comfy bed, spacious room, clean, smart, stylish. Nice bathroom, good quality toiletries. Friendly helpful staff who really looked after us. Great food, wide variety of choice for breakfast and dinner. We are vegetarian and there were always tasty options. Bar prices very reasonable too! Very convenient for buses to Heraklion, airport, Agios Nikolaos etc, bus stop 3 mins away. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was great. 1 very minor thing, WiFi was a bit patchy in the room at times but very good in restaurant/lounge.
