Hotel Narain Niwas Palace

To begin with the location is at the heart of Jaipur. Right in front of the Bus stand. Everything in Jaipur is not more than 20 mins far from here. The property is pretty , clean and has its own huge area and parking space despite being in the middle of a rush city like Jaipur. Apart from that the famous Shikaar Bagh restaurant and Pallidium Bar is right in the hotel premises along with the Imperial Lancers their very own food hub. Must stay ! Recommended !! Highly Recommended !!

I enjoyed my stay, the onsite Indian restaurant was excellent. Pool area is good and breakfast was good too. My room was large with a shared balcony, separate dressing room and ensuite bathroom. I had a fabulous massage in the lovely spa on site. My room had a fridge which was great.

My room was sparsely furnished but comfortable. Could have done with a top sheet on the bed and nicer soft furnishings. The armchair was really ugly...room appeared sort of unfinished.

the building, gardens and swimming pool are superb. nice breakfast as well

although beautiful vintage furniture, beds are too small and not comfortable. the bathroom looked quite old and would need some quick renovation

Rooms are looking tired. Perhaps a quick make over soon? Otherwise, always an enjoyable place.

The photos on the website make the rooms seem slightly larger than they were.

It is a beautiful heritage hotel, with lots of quite areas to relax during the day when it is hot. A very special hotel. The room we had was a huge size with a lounge and desk area with a separate luggage room, and our our veranda which led onto our own little garden. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The plumbing in the room could have been a bit better. The hot water has to run for 10 minutes before it turns hot and the toilet often got blocked up. But all the charms of staying in an older hotel with character.

This hotel is located conveniently at the centre of city and hence near to every major tourist attraction. It is very well maintained and even the non-heritage rooms (built recently) give the royal, heritage feeling. It has a lot of gardens and peacocks are playing around you! The room service was very quick and staff was polite and always ready to help! Contrary to other reviews, we found breakfast quite generic and regret not including in the package. We ended up having it there during our stay with extra charge. There are a couple of fine-dine restaurants in the same property but not managed by the hotel. They offer excellent food and ambience.

Bathrooms need refresh and facilities like exhaust fans to be added. The room heater could be upgraded as the winters are harsh and rooms built in concrete are pretty cold in the night. We had dinner at the hotel one night. The menu and taste wasn't very good. But the prices were higher than the fine dine restaurants in the same vicinity.

The hotel meet my expectations. It is an older/historical hotel and could use a little updating but otherwise it is what it is and its charming in a rustic way.

I could hear my water heater releasing constantly though it was outside but sightseeing and shopping took over and I was too tired to notice the noise.

The hotel is beautiful and, unlike all tacky modern luxurious hotels these days, has a charming old fashioned luxury.

Staff overcharged on poor taxi rides and transportation and wouldn’t be accountable or help when the driver disappeared, left us alone, or arrived late. I would recommend booking drivers yourself. Furthermore the bathrooms have old piping and sometimes produce a very bad smell.

Had the feel of traditional Hotel. Lots of quiet courtyards dotted about. Our room had high ceilings, was spacious and overlooked a semi private courtyard shared by a couple of other rooms Excellent swimming pool Friendly staff who were experienced and attentive

Cafe was slightly disappointing with limited menu
