Sofitel Mumbai BKC

Loved almost everything about it, the food especially was incredible (definitely opt in to breakfast, it was the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had!) and the service of staff was amazing too. I didn’t get the lunch buffet but I saw it had sushi and sashimi so would definitely opt into that if I stay again. I also used the hair salon and was so happy with the result. If you can afford it I would 100% recommend staying here.

The only thing is the location which I know isn’t something they can change but just to let others know it is quite far from the tourist spots so you either have to get a cab that takes 1-1.5 hours (do not believe the google timings, it took me 1 hour 15 in a cab) OR get the train from a nearby station.

The room was so nicely decorated and the city view gave it an extra dimension. This hotel has en excellent Indian cuisine restaurant called Jyran. We ate there 3 times! The food was so good we didn't try any of the other restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast buffé was also excellent with great variation of hot and cold food, including a lot of nice indian dishes. Staff was super friendly and helpful in every way! Security is high since all persons entering have to scan all luggage and bags. The area is also very safe and calm and within walking distance to some shopping malls.

Very rarely do I come back to write a second review of the same place but this place and this stay was so amazing that I had to. What makes this place amazing is their staff and people, right from checkin, while walking around, restaurants, entire house keeping staff the smile and warmth they demonstrate is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities you need, including good collection of in room coffee (especially the espresso) and tea are very refreshing and all you need. The 14th floor club for hi-tea and evening cocktail is so fulfilling and relaxing, especially after a long day. I really like their attention to details, example of that is their bed turn service. They keep a water bottle by your bed, mat with slippers on it and do the curtains as well, all making you feel special. Ending this review without the mention of their food would not be right, one of the best breakfast spread and the taste is out standing (if I had to pick one thing where they can improve - coffee and tea service during breakfast, it just takes for ever at times). A must try are their tandoori options both at lunch and dinner. Overall I would highly suggest this as a must stay if you have to be in this area. Thank you Sofitel for your service!!!

The staff were very friendly & obliging staff cleaning the rooms were very good & made sure the coffee machines in the rooms worked they were meticulous making sure your every need was met a young man called Yougesh is worth mention for his excellent service

There is a lot of construction very close to the building that makes.very loud noises throughout the day & night

I had a fabulous stay at the hotel and would like to commend the staff at the hotel who greeted us well and also the room service who made our stay comfortable..fantastic location and very convenient to travel shop and get to airport and bandra. Taxis were very good including ola and uber and shopping close by. The bathroom was super clean and the Tub was very good especially if kids enjoy tub bath. Also close by was the nita ambani center which is hardly a walk away. The door man sardarji is also a through professional and a great guide ever willing to help. I shall definitively come back next time in bbay.

It's in a good location. Clean and large rooms. Supportive staff.

We took 1 large room for 3 people expecting that we will get twin bed and one proper single bed. Initially we didn't see any separate bed and we were told that you are supposed to sleep on a sofa. We were asked to pay additional money for single bed inspite booking for 3 people. Upon requesting staff, they provided one single separate extra bed as a complimentary. Appreciated the efforts but it was one of our learning.

I loved the cozy rooms and all amenities. They provide everything possible for a comfortable stay. Staff is very polite and very supportive. They are pet friendly and that's what makes it easy for me to choose them. The bathtub is big and good enough. The products kept are good quality ones and You can totally have your me time there.

Despite being a pet friendly property, a pet is not allowed anywhere except lobby area and your room. There needs to be atleast one restaurant or cafe or atleast a section where pet parents can sit and eat. Because of this one needs to be in room only and order. Also, provide atleast one meal for pet in charges you take seperately for pets or some additional facility like some other properties do.

Breakfast was excellent, especially the Indian breakfast we prefer . The room interior is very dark and showbiz;, normally, it should have a decent corporate-type interior. Dinner is very good.

The room interior is very dark and decorative like showbiz, it should have a decent and bright colour interior and curtains etc. Hospitality is less, as Sofitel is only a 5-star hotel in BKC and near to US visa office. The business and professionalism are taken to be granted by Sofitel.

Everything was really good. Right from the check in experience to till check out. location is fantastic especially if you’re are looking for place to stay in BKC Mumbai. Quite meticulously maintained property. with all the facilities. Staff is super friendly and courteous. We were travelling with baby. Every one from the hotel was really warm towards us. Breakfast buffet is nice. Rooms are clean.

Gym is really underwhelming actually quite the disappointment to be honest. they don’t even have basic Equipments like barbells and all. I think there might be some reason for it albeit it would be a strange one.

It is a luxury hotel. Very nice. Everything was great (Luxury Room, Breakfast, big lobby, 5 Elevators, ....etc

No surroundings, the hotel is located in a real business area, there are no supermarkets or restaurants close by. You have to depend on the hotel for food which is off course is costly being a 5 stars hotel.
