The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel Delhi

Wonderfully friendly and warm staff, great breakfast buffet, and the tastefully decorated lobby and room (I stayed in a club room with a balcony on the fifth floor). When you have lounge access, the club lounge on the second floor offers complimentary wine and cocktails and a small but nice selection of tasty food between 6 and 8 pm. It is a great deal for a five-star hotel in Delhi, where many similar establishments cost more, especially during the high winter season. I really enjoyed staying here as I was also doing some remote work on the side.

There is a shopping center nearby, but beyond that, not much that would be of interest to foreign visitors. The center of Delhi is far from the hotel. When traffic is bad (and roads are rather often congested), it can take easily 30 to 40 minutes by car just to reach popular locations like the Khan Market, Connaught Place or old Delhi. From the international airport expect a ride of 60 to 90 minutes to get to the hotel, depending on traffic conditions. The nearest metro stop (Karkarduma Court) requires roughly 20 minutes of walking, and it is not a very pleasant walk, I am sorry to say. The best option for getting around is calling an Uber.

Hotel was out of this world. Wifi was great. The water quality and pressure was superb, didn't feel like we were in India. The rainfall shower was the best thing I have seen / used of its kind. Breakfast was heavenly. Fresh food made right in front of you and huge variety of items including eggless cakes / treats. Staff all kind and friendly. Cocktail lounge was pretty cool but have to wait a little while for drinks. Hotel takes a great deal to ensure safety of its customers.

there was only one pillow type and it was too soft. Staff constantly asking our room number when in the cocktail lounge even though details were given to their colleague at an earlier time. Got overcharged on the booking and the person on the desk did not help or confirm anything before proceeding.

Very helpful staff and well trained . Food is good ,chef himanshu paid special attention to ensure we have a good experience despite carving time from his schedule while serving a huge breakfast crowd ,kudos to you chef. The amenities while we didnt use much were quite upto the mark.

The non smoking rooms reeked of smoking we checked at midnight and it seemed that the room wasn't cleaned prior to our entry ,we were so tired to even ask for cleaning then at 1 am next day also when we raised only air purifier was given but the smoke smell gave both of us a bad headache so that was a very unpleasant part of the stay and highly unexpected of Leela based on my past experience in their properties never faced this . Kindly ensure such incidents are just not usual and visitors can relax instead of getting headaches due to others smoking 🚬.

The hotel staff are absolutely brilliant, very attentive and impeccable professionalism. The front desk, the gentleman that checked us in at the club lounge, porters, the front door staff, security, the wait staff and manager at Dilli32 and Cafe Knosh, the concierge, and the gentleman (I think his name is Adveshan) that helped with tidying and making up the room. This is proper 5 star service. The facilities and room were excellent! We really loved the way the room is configured. Wow!

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like. Book now, you will not regret!

The rooms were very spacious. Staff are incredible. Shayantan, Mona, Pankaj Vishal and chef Mahendra were incredibly hospitable. The chef made us his own few dishes at breakfast and Shayantan ensured everything was done to perfection. Mona told us all the best places to go for shopping and she was deffo right! Vishal was super cute and brought us a thank you cake on our last day. Ankur also at the entrance is soooo sweet - always smiling and making sure everything is ok. Very warm person. Reception staff should be a bit more smiley.

Then cleanliness was amazing. And the attitude of staff was top class. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. I would especially like to mention Divya at check in and Hushmeet in the breakfast restaurant, and Sandeep in the Dill32 restaurant just to mention a few, but everyone we met was very courteous and made us feel very welcome and looked after us.

I can't really mention anything that we didn't like. Except that you could provide cookies or biscuits in the room. Maybe the prices of the food and drink were a little expensive.

My last day ill never forget this was day I paid x2 ( rent )for the room I stayed for more than 10day I have requested your staff also on reservations counter to take this to management hope you can get it now

Lovely hotel, clean room and friendly staff. Nimal and Suhel were very helpful with booking train tickets for us.

1) ATM did not work at the hotel 2) Members of staff didn’t let us bring our own luggage down. They insisted that their staff would bring the luggage down to reception. However, after waiting 20/30 minutes our luggage was still waiting to be brought down from the third floor (whereas we would have happily brought it down ourselves as we had places to be). In the end, my partner ended up going back to third floor and bringing our luggage downstairs himself as the members of staff were just chatting away instead of bringing the luggage downstairs.

The hotel , facilities & management were very helpful. We had several issues throughout our holiday in India . They assisted us to make our trip very comfortable in Delhi. A special thanks to Ms Shirpa, throughout our stay was very pleasant and also upgraded our rooms due to all travel problems, as we were very tired and hassled. This made our stay very memorable. A special thanks to Ms Shirpa and her team during checkout too were very helpful too as we had a situation with my mobile phone being stuck in an uber car. All in all, hotel with a heart!

Breakfast was exceptional. The service quality at breakfast was also exceptional. Irfan and Anurag engaged in conversation at breakfast and Ashish had a ready smile. We noticed a similar level of service at other tables as well. There were a few issues with the room, however, they were handled quickly and efficiently. The beds are very comfortable, and the washroom is fully functional with hot water coming up quickly. We liked that there was a tub and a shower cubicle as well. The gym was well-maintained, and Om was quick to help and assist in a friendly manner. The gym was also open and cleaned before time daily at 06:00 AM with juices and towels available. The staff handle requests well. We had requested to meet the General Manager, Mr. Baury on check-out and we didn't have to remind the front desk staff about it.
