The Oberoi New Delhi

Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Mohit in the 360 restaurant ...e.g. at breakfast time, when we were in a rush to catch a plane he arranged a bagged takeaway. As we came for our anniversary -happy to see the effort put in to make it special. Thanks to the manager that personallt came to wish us and the card signed by the entire management team was a nice touch.

Minor point, no staff present at the time we were in the swimming area, needed help with the lockers. Figured it out in the end, and the sauna would not heat up enough to what we are used to.

Breakfast was amazing. Even if buffet is not enough for you they have plenty of dishes on their menu. The room was quite nice. We had 2 visits of this hotel during our travel in India, had a hotel arranged transfer, both drivers were excellent. Special thanks to Duty Manager Meher Nurpuri who finally solved the problem that managers in 2 other Oberoi Hotels were not able to solve even though im sure they tried hard. very comfy stay

maybe kids club open in the evening for parents to enjoy early dinner in restaurants where kids are not allowed. And they are not allowed in both restaurants managed by Michelin star chiefs

Sumptuous well spread breakfast, very personalized service, excellent staff. We placed an order for in room dining, which was missed out by the person taking the order. When we called back after 1.5 hours, we were told that it got missed out. However, the Duty Manager did a quick service recovery by personally visiting and adding a dessert to our order. Also, was very pleasantly surprised at check out that the order was nit charged to the room. So, a lapse in service was very well covered up. A huge shout out to all staff especially Gaurav from the breakfast serving team, Yash from front office, Garima from the Housekeeping team and Sachin, the Duty Manager, who went well out of way to have their service and names impressed upon our minds. Truly, the Oberoi experience was my best hotel experience so far.

We recently stayed at the Oberoi, New Delhi from 9th to 14th April. This was our first visit to the Oberoi Delhi, having previously enjoyed a number of stays at the Oberoi Mumbai. Success in any business sector - be it hospitality or finance is delivered through collective teamwork and inspired leadership. We found overall the stay at the Oberoi Delhi was great. One or two hiccups is only to be expected. What distinguishes great from the merely good is how we recover from issues should they arise. Personally I found the manner in which an issue was handled one evening during dinner when the fish was not properly cooked to be extreme and did not, in my opinion, reflect well on the brand. It really is not necessary to have quite so many people apologise when the problem of undercooked food arose. One apology and then move on. Otherwise I would take this opportunity of thanking ‘the team’ at the Oberoi Delhi for what was a most enjoyable stay. I am reluctant to highlight individuals as being ‘standout performers’ as I believe we are, as as team, strong when we collectively (as a team) recognise our successes and otherwise.

When there is an issue is does NOT take 4 or 5 people to apologise... and for this to be over there next 4 or 5 days... one apology and that's it done. In some locations in India, and in particular hotels it seems that the requirement for constant and continuous feedback is by Western standards truly excessive. They handle positive feedback by dismissing it But if there is anything slightly 'off' they go on and on about it for days. Quite unnecessary, in my opinion.

A lovely hotel with reputedly the cleanest air in Delhi. It was a pleasure staying at the Oberoi. The staff are most friendly and helpful and the breakfast very good. The location is good - near to Khan market and various places of interest

I would caution against using the taxis arranged through the hotel. We had an unpleasant experience. To their credit the staff handled the subsequent overcharging by the taxi driver well. The hotel arranged train tickets for us to Agra but I suspect a hefty commission was added. I would appreciate transparency around charges

I don’t have words to express my gratitude. I had an incredible time, they made all kind of arrangements to make me feel like a princess. Kapil my assigned driver was very professional and kind, Sonam gave me the best massage I ever had in my life! Chan gave me a facial that made me look 20 years younger. Harsh the Yoga instructor was wonderful as well. Anchal gave me a very informative tour and was very sweet and kind. The staff is so nice and hospitable, go to the rooftop for mesmerizing sunset views! I can’t wait to be back.

Breakfast room and offer were really amazing. such a large variety of fresh food and beverages. Hotel was clean, comfy and with an enjoyable design. Rooftop bar is a plus. In-Room service and food were good enough. Staff tries its best to support. The place is quiet which is very enjoyable after a busy day in the noisy city. Gym is well-equipped

Not the most efficient staff I ever met. Someone came to clean the in-room dining just with a simple tray while we had many dishes. When we checked out, it took more than 30mn to get our luggage (from our room to the lobby) Other rooms on our floor were a bit noisy, there is a guard on each floor but didn't feel he was here to maintain some serenity...

Location of the hotel is simply unbeatable. It’s in the heart of the city, yet it manages to provide a peaceful and serene environment. Attention to detail and level of care provided by the hotel staff was simply outstanding.

While the dining experience at Dhilli restaurant was absolutely enjoyable, I couldn’t help but notice the initial greeting by the host felt a bit less warm than expected. I believe a friendlier and more enthusiastic welcome would greatly benefit this otherwise lovely restaurant.

This is one of the best hotel I have ever been. An amazing experience. Very elegant hotel with plenty of space, highly professional and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the swimming pools. There is one inside and one outside (which is warm up in winter). We also used the fitness room, which offers a personal trainer for free. There is also a yoga class at 7am which is complimentary. The breakfast is exceptional. We will definitely come back.

The rooms were set out really well and very specious, the window was huge and perfect to watch all the wildlife flying around. The staff couldn't help you more, they were very attentive. There was a lot of food variety in the 360 restaurant and everything was clearly labelled and easy to understand.

The roof top bar was great in the evening, but be sure to prebook as it can get busy on a weekend. The prices are little more expensive in the restaurants and bar than anticipated so be aware of this.
