Location is amazing! Walking distance to everything! Staff were amazing so friendly and helpful

Room 312 the key card was difficult to use. Took a few goes each time, I think other people would have given up and gone to reception but it’s actually just glitchy. Aircon was not great in the room. I think the parking should be free for guests

In this hotel, we really got everything we expected: the staff is very polite and helpful. We got a spacious room on the third floor with a beautiful view of the bay. Beds, mattresses, pillows was comfortable, everything in the hotel was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also spacious and clean, there is no bad smell anywhere. The room was cleaned and linen changed every day. Several evenings we visited the hotel bar, where we had a pleasant time listening to the performance of good musicians. We also visited the pool every day, where we really got a good rest, the pool staff was very polite and hardworking, everything was clean, the water in the pool was warm, there is a jacuzzi and 2 baths. Comfortable furniture in the lobby of the hotel, where you can have a cup of coffee or tea. Lovely courtyard where you can also relax. Everything is cozy and homey. The location of the hotel is excellent, in the city center, close to the embankment, restaurants, many cafes and shops. Also, many sights of the city are located near the hotel. The breakfasts matched the price. The food was fresh and warm, we found everything we needed for breakfast, the coffee tasted pretty good. Parking for cars is located under the hotel building and is inexpensive for hotel guests. We plan to visit this beautiful city in the future and stay in this hotel.

Our Room 424 had a lovely view, the air con worked very well. It was clean and comfortable . Breakfast was very good, especially the fruit smoothies and coffee. The hotel is very centrally located, opposite the fantastic Arts Centre and a stone's throw from the Abbey and cafes. The underground parking at the hotel is very convenient.

The meal we had in the Library Bar was disappointing. It was inadequate and the tuna salad was likewise, tasteless. Otherwise nice surroundings and good service. I noticed also the exterior side of the windows of the hotel need to be be cleaned throughout. It is obvious when taking in the lovely views of the town and river/ sea!

Loved the location which was just a couple of minutes by taxi from the train station. Especially loved the very spacious foyer (and courtyard) area that provided space to meet visitors, or hang out while waiting for others to join us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The large breakfast area was very busy but had a good flow so we were not waiting for a table. Good selection for breakfast.

We went to the bar/restaurant to watch Ireland play in the Women's World Cup while having an early evening meal. It was advertised as being shown there and there were two large tv screens. Unfortunately, at least one of the tv screens would go black every couple of minutes with audio playing but no picture. It was extremely frustrating. The manager on duty there shrugged his shoulders and blamed the weather although another staff member said that the tv had been like that for years. It was very disappointing.

The only thing I would suggest is putting signs up in the lobby to point guests in the direction of where breakfast is in the mornings. As it's just convenient to know where to go when you're a first time stayer for such things rather than having to find a member of staff to ask them. Other than that, which is still a minor nit pick, everything was great.

The breakfast the quality of the food was very poor like most hotelels in Ireland cheep ingredients seem to be standard There was a function on the terrace below the bedroom block where participants were loud with no sign of management trying to control it At check out we were not asked how our stay was Overall, the hotel is good but some areas need to be reassessed Would I use hotel again yes And I would never post anything to TripAdvisor Better to talk to the main man or woman if they are prepared to listen This post was written by Cristina's partner Jonathan Cooke jonathancooke.cooke@gmail.com

This is a ok hotel staff all round are friendly and professional location is in the middle of town great shopping and sights near by along the quays.

There is 1 coffee machine at breakfast time meaning a que can build very quickly in moderate numbers i think a 4star hotel shouldn't over look this also menu in bar restaurant is overpriced to be honest we were shocked at the prices for a portion of chicken wings 😳 was €17/18 i understand its a "4star" but dont try rip people off at these prices. We had to request are room to be cleaned twice on the same day simply replacing towels is not a clean room job well done.Im sure a bit better is possible

Our room had an amazing view overlooking the sea and was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was amazing and the room was well equipped for our needs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and sorted out quickly without any fuss a problem with our booking when we arrived late and tired. We found the restaurant to have good food that was freshly prepared and the service was quick and attentive, without being excessively expensive. The hotel is positioned in the centre of town but is quite and allows easy access about the town. It has a good car parking facility. It has a great gym and excellent pool and changing facilities that were extremely clean and tidy.

The breakfast buffet room was a little dark in some areas and a bit mayhem at peak times. The food serving area is a funnel and creates a queue, where you cant escape. Perhaps a more openly accessible setup would resolve this.

I really liked the fact that I could make a direct order for either Porridge and/or Pancakes. I just wish that would include 'something' like an omelette - even the simplest like 'Herb Omlette' - so wonderful as opposed to eggs which are mainly 'left on a tray' to help oneself as with Poached or Scrambled Eggs - both of which I dislike when 'left on trays' as they tend to try out, especially scrambled eggs.

The room service when it came simply to 'remaking my bed' I may seem to be fastidious here, but when my bed is 'supposedly made for me' I like to SEE that this is the case when I lookout the bottom sheet and its has been completely flattened and not the necessity for me to do this myself ! Each night the bottom sheet was very crinkled and certainly not 'properly remade for me'. For me, these are the small things that matter.

The breakfast had a good variety on offer. Well cooked and the service was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and towels changed each day.

It was very disappointing that a bottle of water was not provided in the room on arrival. Guests who need water to drink or to allow taking mediation would expect at least to have a bottle of water provided. The queue for breakfast was long.
