This really is a luxury B&B. Such attention to detail and oh so comfortable. From the minute we arrived, we knew it was a great place to stay. Alfie helped us with our luggage as it is up a good flight of stairs. He offered us a coffee or tea, and their were 2 complimentary bottles of water in our room. They have lots of herbal tea bags and a wonderful expresso machine in the breakfast area Our bedroom had a nice desk area with several chairs. The bed was very comfortable and a nice height. The bathroom had great tile work as well as matching wood accessories. Towels were fluffy, too. Even a nice balcony with a small table and chairs. The AC worked great for sleeping. Breakfast was a wonderful fresh pastry, fruit juices, coffee (I had cappuccino and it was delucious), or tea. Alfie carried it to our room on a tray. When I took back the empties, he even offered me a second coffee, tea, or croissant. There was even daily housekeeping. You don't see that anymore. In addition, he called a taxi for us at our request for the last day. He even was up early to make sure we got our roll and cappuccino. Great location, close to public transport. Grocery store and restaurants near by. You can't go wrong here.

great service, amazing location, very respectful person in the reception, he helped me a lot and explained everything in detail. The room was amazing and very comfortable, it has a TV and a balcony. I definitely recommend it if you want to spend some time in Catania and be in the central of the city.

I would only suggest the property to think about soundproofing the doors maybe. It seemed like people where in my room when they were talking, I also felt a bit uncomfortable to talk at the phone and I had to lower my voice for personal conversations. it’s just an advice that for me would bring the B&B to a different level! a part from that I loved it even if I spent only a night, I’ll definitely book it again.

It was a cosy, clean and comfortable place. Very close to city center, just across the bus stops. The host and the staff were very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and beds and pillows were comfortable. Although there was any fridge in the room, we could use the refrigerator, coffee machine, oven and kitchen equipment in the shared kitchen. Thanks for warm welcoming, and hosting. We felt at home..

The palace is really close to the main historic places - piazza Duomo 20 min walk. The room is spacious with a balcony and clean. The bus station and train station are 10 minutes walk. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good. I definitely recommend this place and would visit on my next trip to Sicily.

Everything was good.

Almost 10 Min walk to the bus and train station. 20min to the city centre high street. Room.was quite spacious and so was the private bathroom. Alfeo was kind enough to allow my girlfriend to check-in earlier. He also allowed us to leave our luggage in the reception area on the day of check out as we had our bus to Palermo late in the evening. Overall a great stay experience!

We felt very comfortable in the Iolanda. It is ideally located, close to the train station, close to the city center, in a small square/park and with two small supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The room was bright, modern, clean, cozy and tasteful. The team was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

A perfect variant to stay a few nights. Not far from the center, there is a good supermarket and restaurants nearby. Nice small balcony and shared place to make coffee/tea. The owner is very friendly.

It was a little noisy in the evening and early in the morning with the window open (people, cleaning equipment, and a fountain :)). Arriving at breakfast at 9 am, I was offered only croissant and coffee, so it’s better not to rely on a full breakfast from the apartment. Maybe earlier there will be more choice in the cafe.

The hotel is way better than expected. We arrived earlier and the host came in 5 minutes and was all kindness. The room is beautiful and big and so is the toilet, perfectly clean. Lots of free stuff and a proper Italian breakfast! We've stayed in 4 different places around Sicily and this was our absolute favorite!!

Excellent location (20 mins from the city center and 10 mins from the central station). The breakfast is served in a nearby cafe (pastries, juice, coffee). Perfect wi-fi connection and a smart TV with access to YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime. The rooms are cleaned every day and the host Daniela is helpful and kind. I highly recommend this place!
