Lovely room, thoroughly cleaned every day. Delicious breakfast, great variety. Very friendly and helpful staff.

No need to change towels every day unless they are on the floor. No clear instructions, even though we left the towels on hangers, they were still changed. Not great for environment. No packed breakfast provided for people doing early excursions.

We liked the location. In 15-20 minutes, you're in Piazza del Duomo, Piazza Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and many other attractions. We loved how clean the hotel it was. They came and changed the towels/made up the beds every day, which is a lot more than any 4* hotels usual offer. We liked the fact that there was parking for free, although we arrived at the hotel late in the evening they still had parking spaces available ( this is a great location and to find a hotel like this with free parking it's an absolute bargain). The breakfast was very nice, they had a very good choice from cheese, mini mozzarellas, ham, boiled eggs , yoghurts, croissants etc. The 2 ladies at breakfast were very nice and friendly. We had our 2 years old daughter running around and they were very understanding and patient. I saw in the previous reviews that someone said the shower was small. Personally, I think that's a bit unfair. The shower was absolutely fine, and the pressure was very good. They even give you shower caps. We liked that the mattress was quite firm, great for the posture and the pillows not too high ( both very comfortable) . Also, I liked the fact there was a mini fridge, very useful as we have a little girl, and it was perfect to keep things cool. We really liked the hotel, and we'd go back in the future. The only thing I would have liked better would have been a room that's on the same floor with the lifts. We had a baby, pram, 2 big cases, rucksack, and we had to go down a big set of steps, which was a little challenging with all our stuff. Also, we didn't like there were some noisy ladies talking quite loudly until midnight outside their room on the corridor ( this is not the hotel's fault, though just inconsiderate people). Everything else was great! Thank you, Hotel Golf. We really enjoyed our stay and we'll be back next time we're in Firenze.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the room and bed were quite comfortable. Marco checked me in late in the evening; he is very amiable, outgoing, and kind, as were the ladies responsible for the breakfast and housekeeping. Daytime staff were more reserved, and felt less approachable. Location was excellent for my needs (visiting the municipal offices). Convenient to the center, as well as transit. Also, I accidentally left items in my room on checkout, and the staff let me back in to retrieve them with no delay or hassle.

Price was a bit high for the location/amenities. I received a reasonable discount through Booking, but when I needed to extend my reservation I was charged nearly double the previous nightly rate.

The Hotel is perfectly located. Closed parking place (availability is not guaranteed), bus stop is 20 meters from the entrance to reach different must-see destinations in the city. Air-conditioned room, fair breakfast, no espresso (it is not a problem to get one anywhere in Italy, so we solved it..). The Central Station and the Duomo is max. 10-15 minutes on foot (tourist tempo, window-shopping ). Friendly staff.

The bathroom is a bit tight. Lack of air ventilation in the bathroom. Air-flow from the air conditioner is aimed to the bed directly. It is a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel is slightly out of the centre. Just an additional 10 minutes walk to the centre. However very convenient to join excursions from Piazzale Montelungo especially those leaving early in the morning and arriving late. Breakfast was reasonably good and fresh. The usual.choices and replenished often.

Slightly longer distance to centre, but doable on foot. No hand held shower was an inconvenience but the available bidet was very useful. The expected coffee making facilities in the room were not available.

The room is specious. There is a fridge and you can use it for your drinks etc. That is definitely an extra for an accommodation. It is close to the downtown. Walking to the downtown takes just 7-8 minutes. There is a parking area belongs to the hotel. It is limited but you can find an available space when somebody is checking out. I parked my car just across the hotel that is free of charge between 8pm-8am when I arrived there. Then I moved my car to the parking area at the morning around 9.30 am. So don’t be nervous but patient 🙂 The last but not the least the breakfast is included the price and it is fairly enough if you don’t have high expectations such us dishes from the world cuisines.

The internet connection is weak in the room. The facility must enhance the connectivity from the rooms.

Hotel was 7 minutes walk from train station. You get exactly what you pay for. Toilet was large, with shelves and room to store personal. Rooms was comfortable. Buffet in the morning was exceptional, they even had boiled eggs for breakfast which is amazing for us because we were annoyed of eating pastries and croissants every morning. Hotel is 20 minutes roughly walking distance from Santa Maria Novella Cathedral.

The room I stayed in was very quiet overall, no sound of traffic, the staff was lovely, and very helpful, AC can be on 24/7 (it helps since Firenze was constantly hitting in the 40’s when I was there)

The walls are very thin, so whenever someone spoke on the corridor or used the facilities in the room over I would be able to hear it.

Breakfast was very tasty with variety of choices for kids and adults. The size of the room was enough for my family. The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is the best thing about it. It is very close to the train station (10 mins walk) and really close to the main attractions (walking with young kids around 15 mins).

The location of the hotel is very good. It is 15 minutes walking distance to the city center and away from the noise. Train and tram stations are also very close. Room cleanliness is also good. All the staff are friendly and the breakfast is quite sufficient.

Not about the hotel, but the mosquitoes that enter when you open the window are very painful.
