Hotel Florence

The review is from the perspective of someone who only stayed one night. The location was fine for us, a few minutes' walk from a major metro station and probably about 15 minutes from Milano Centrale Railway Station. The area where the hotel is located does not look special, but not very bad either. Even the hotel building does not attract attention from the outside. Inside, however, the room was very nice, apparently recently renovated or at least well maintained. It had a flowered balcony with a beautiful view of the boulevard. The room and bathroom were big enough for us. The bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. The breakfast was quite simple but everything was tasty.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location is only 20 mins walk from central; however there is also a metro 5 mins away and a small supermarket shop just over the road. We didnt go for the breakfast option due to time; however, a bar on the premise is a nice touch. The shower was great and the beds comfortable.

The only problem with the room was that the extractor fan was very loud when first turned on. Not a problem in the grand scheme, but I was glad not to need the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also, some people may not be comfortable leaving their keys whenever leaving the property - didnt bother us though

Beautiful small hotel in a good location in Milano. All of the staff were very friendly and kind and always supported un case of need. Located close to the metro station which connects you easily via 2 lines with all places of interest in the city. Rich breakfast with many different tasty sweets, cakes, fruits and other things. I really liked our spacious room with two windows in it. Baggage storage until the evening of the departure day was no problem. Would take this hotel in the future again! :)

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Hotel Florence in Milan❤️The location is not only safe but also incredibly convenient, with easy access to the metro. The staff at Hotel Florence were not only friendly but also exceptionally helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed during my stay. The daily cleaning service kept my room in impeccable condition. The room's design was a highlight for me. It was not only new but also incredibly stylish, and it exceeded my expectations compared to the photos I saw when booking!!

The location was convenient, close to the main train station as we came and left by train. There were several restaurants and shops nearby and few kilometres to e.g. the Duomo. Metro station was close so you could take it if not up for walking. The breakfast was okay, not much fresh veggies though. Mainly very nice and helpful staff.

Only one key, which you had to leave to reception. Worked okay, but felt a bit unsecure. Our room was on the first floor and towards street so there was some traffic noise (earplugs worked just fine). Staff was otherwise vey pleasant but one of them felt a bit a rude. Luckily we encountered only once. Toilet leaked so there had to be an extra floor mat under it all the time (which was left for this purpose by the cleaning staff).

A good hotel with a friendly and helpful receptionist. Answered all our queries and provided a replacement hairdryer when the one in our bathroom did not work. He was also very helpful in calling a taxi. There was a problem that evening in finding a taxi, but he persevered. A charming a smiley lady in the breakfast room was also very helpful. An excellent breakfast with good quality ingredients. The coffee was also of high quality. I would go again when next in Milan.

The shower was quite small as I am over 6 feet tall, not overweight, but have had knee replacement so mobility was difficult. Good flow of water.

This is a nice little hotel five minutes on foot from the metro station and about 15 minutes from the main station. It is clean and in a quiet environment with two supermarkets nearby. We had a twin room which was spacious and had a small balcony. There are other rooms, though, with a terrace where you can have dinner or drink. The reception is open 24/7 and the staff is extremely nice. This was my second stay in this hotel and I would come back. You can hardly find a reliable place in Milan for such a reasonable price.

I would have preferred the shower with a handle.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Florence and were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were pleased with our room which overlooked the park. Breakfast was good, and I could find everything I like such as yoghurt, cereal, dried and fresh fruits and plain croisants. The location was very convenient as it is near to the metro, though you have to remember some landmarks coming out of the metro onto a big intersection which can be confusing. I would stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Super clean room and bathroom, which was refreshed daily. Nice and toasty warm room - in fact sometimes in the morning I had to open the window a bit to let some cool air in to balance it out, but this was a winter break so it was incredibly cold out anyway and I was glad for the under-floor heating and general cosyness. Bed comfort was great. Location didn't really have anything useful in the immediate vicinty but it was only a few minutes walk to metro station, shops and cafes, and 20 mins to Milano Centrale area, and bus/tram stopped nearby.

The shower door was coming off. The hallway light sensor didnt always work outside my room so I had to use phone torch. Neither of these a big deal for me.

We were really satisfied - nice room with a small balcony. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and towels were changed although we did not expect. The hotel is approx. 3 minutes from subway (red and green lines). One morning we had breakfast in the hotel which worth its prize. There is elevator in the hotel as well. One can get that the photos show.

If we really want to find a missing thing: a small fridge and plus 1 chair (only 1 was in the room).
