Hotel Mentana

Good location close to shops and sights. 10 minutes walk to two metro stops, 10 min walk to Duomo.

Room was clean but the cleaning soap they used smelled bad, at first I thought there is a bad smell or leak in the room until I realized that’s the sheets. A bit overpriced for the room size and amenities.

The hotel is located near the main attactions of Milan and it is a very good choice for tourists looking for accomodation in the city center. The staff pays great attention to cleanliness, which can be observed in the rooms and surroundings. Pleasant smell in the lobby and common areas due to the personalised diffusers. Although the rooms are not large, the space is practical and the bathrooms are well equiped (comfy towels, bidet, cosmetic wipes, hygienic bags). The personel in the reception was nice, at our request they kept our luggage until leaving to the airport. Although we did not booked rooms with breakfast included, we could serve coffee each mornings.

I would have appreciated slippers in the room and a more variety of TV channels (all were in Italian language).

The location is excellent, very close to restaurants and shops.. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.. Tried their best to fulfill all our needs.. Also, after checkout, my sister forgot some of her items in the room, they asked us to call the next day and when we called we found out that they kept everything in the safety box at the reception all kept in a nice hotel bag.. Again, the staff were amazing and super friendly! I highly recommend this hotel!

The room was small and had a lot of corners, so was the bathroom.. The cleaning lady didn’t refill some of the items in the room..

The reception staff were so professional and personable. The breakfast was above the usual and the server so nice and quick. The hotel’s location and its small size — 32 rooms — is just perfect. Very quiet, too!

Will Fi was a bit wonky. It had to be reset for my room.

Hotel Mentana has an excellent location at walking distance from Il Duomo. My stay was short and I had business meetings most of the time, yet, thanks to the location of the hotel, I managed to catch a glimpse of Milan. Would gladly come back. My room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

The only thing that bothered me a little was the choice of food on offer for breakfast. As a person who cannot have a sweet breakfast, I would appreciate one more egg option, apart from hard boiled ones. Excellent coffee, though!

The breakfast was really good, including home made pastries and cakes, cheese, cold cuts, bread, juice, great coffee too Location was really amazing too, literally 4 minutes walk from the main shopping area (Via Torino) The room was really nice too, comfy, stylish, good size bathroom with toiletries. Reception service is also really good. 100% Recommended!!

The only small thing was that the air conditioning was not strong but the weather was not too hot (20 degree C max outside) so it was fine in the end. The thermostat was ignoring our temperature adjustments but at least some cool air was coming out (fan speed adjustment was working as well as on/off switch).

The room was clean the bed comfortable, the AC was great the location is fantastic everything was close to me by walking

The breakfast was very poor in options and very limited with no variety at all to be honest, the elevator was very slow, too small and old

Very warm welcome upon arrival. Always clean and the food was decent. The rooms were with everything needed. Combined with the location we most likely couldn't find anything better.

There was a slight inconvenience that is not worth mentioning and was a human error. At first glance the security measures, even though nothing bad happened, could be better in the hotel.

Rooms are nicely set-up, making them feel roomy. Breakfast was very nice and varied. The front desk personnel was always nice and helpful, including when we made requests. the location was perfect, we could access all of Milan city center by foot.

The lobby and stairs may give a feeling it is a bit dated, but actually the rooms are newly refurbished and nice.

Early morning when the breakfast starts around 7am they start baking the bread and the smell was very strong and it somehow comes to the room. I think something needs to be done for the ventilation.
