Meliá Milano

The hotel is located just less than 5 minutes from Lotto metro station, also there is a large supermarket less than 5 minutes away. I choose Melia for its walking distance from MiCo. The staff were very helpful and professional. The hotel has a nice vibe from the outside and the lobby, but not so in the rooms. Hause keeping were excellent, they also provide a bottle of water daily.

The very loud music that you can hear every night. Also, the pillows were not that comfy, and the single beds were small. Room service was limited. Nothing major during my stay, and would recommend it for that part of Milan.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful when we needed to see a doctor. I really can't say enough about how fantastic all the staff were and so attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them. Beautiful products in the bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is a little out of the centre of Milan but very close to the underground station so you are still in easy reach of the city. Breakfast was also delicious!

The only thing is there wasn't really any parking for dropping off luggage etc, we drove to the hotel by hire car and wanted to do a drop off of our stuff before taking the car back to the rental place, but we had to pay even only for 20 minutes while we checked in. That's the only thing that could have been better and it wasn't that bad

Each room has Rituals products and a extensive range of additional facilities and toiletries to make guest feel very comfortable The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is superb and provides and outstanding quality level of food . Highly recommended. Close location to Metro

The climate control - effectively air conditioning in the room, was disappointing and didn’t cool the room very much during high temperatures. I also felt , with most hotels, the broadband is speed limited and for a 5 star hotel should be better.

It is near a metro station and has a nice elegance about it. It is a 10 minute walk away from the fairly new ‘CityLife’ area as well as the stadium. The rooms are cleaned daily and has everything one will need to enjoy their time. All amenities listed are provided and the staff are very courteous and friendly. As a solo traveller, I felt very comfortable staying at the hotel. It was very clean and the rooms very spacious. It is aesthetically pleasing and well presented. The Guest Experience Manager presented guests with a lovely dessert platter and small arrangement of flowers on the first night which I considered very thoughtful!

I felt the food options were quite limited at the restaurant/room service but maybe that’s just my preference. I also believe some cotton buds should have been provided in the bathroom kits. We were provided with steamers for clothes, but I believe maybe an iron would be better suited.

Giulia in the Guest Experience team also deserves massive recognition. Some initial issues we had flagged to reception around outside noise were immediately resolved but she also went above and beyond by providing a level of customer service, warmth and genuine care which I had not experienced elsewhere. As a seasoned traveller, I was highly appreciative of the added personal touches (e.g a note and some chocolates were left in our room on our last day as an unexpected gesture and Giulia was always there on hand in case we needed any further assistance) which made my partner and I feel valued as guests and made our stay at Melia Milano that even more special.

Stunning building! We were offered assistance with our bags brought to our room. We stayed with the Level package - so we had 24 hour access to the snacks, drinks etc. and it was nice after driving from Switzerland to sit and enjoy a beverage. I recieved a birthday cake and balloons in our room. Although, a welcome gift was supposed to be included with the level package - not sure what that normally is? Restaurant staff were exceptional.

Parking should be free and included for the price not just discounted. More milk is required in room and the other refreshments/mini bar should be free considering we were Level VIPs and these items a are free on level 1. Shower was a bit of a challenge and inside a bathtub. We arrived wearing a tracksuit and cold weather gear after visiting the Matterhorn Glacier in Switzerland and staff gave us the impression that perhaps we didn't belogn at the Level however we were served.

Had a lovely experience in this hotel. The value you get is tremendous as you feel like you are staying in a luxury hotel for prices that are very affordable when compared to other places in Milan. The rooms are good and the beds (and pillows) are GREAT! It's located 300m away from the metro station that runs directly to every tourist spot. All in all, a recommended place for families and couples visiting Milan.

Not much of a complaint...just going along with the other comments and confirm that this place is indeed NOT a 5 star hotel. Just as a warning for people that have those type of expectations.

- Very close to Lotto station (red/purple line) - but to access red line it’s a bit faraway than purple line. Still very convenient for me who go-and-back RhoFieraMilano for the expo and to-back Duomo about 10 times in 3 days. - We arrived so early, about 30 min before time for check-in. But I got 1 room, while another room as accessible in the evening. - Comfortable room with good service - Very beautiful bathroom, but easily to get wet after bath

- Hair dryer was only provided in one single room (which our male-companion use), while in our double room (female) didn’t have one. So we asked for one from the lobby at night and got it in the morning. - Room was a bit small and too dark.

Food at the restaurant was absolutely mind-blowing. Both the breakfast buffet and the lunch/dinner menu was delicious. Staff were friendly and very helpful Room was very spacious and clean, bathrooms were well kept and bed was very comfy

Poor facilities in the hotel- No spa, only gym Bathtub was broken but immediately fixed after complaint Not a very ideal location as its situated in the outskirts- CityLife shopping centre was huge and good for laid back shopping though- only 8 mins walk from hotel

The hotel is located next 2 metro station Lotto (M1 and M5) so it is easy to reach both the bus station and city center. The breakfast was splendid. It is the first hotel I stayed at which offers not only eggs as hot option. There were backed potatoes, backed tomatoes, mushrooms. Also enough vegan options as well as fresh fruits every days. The room had 3 pillows for each guest, safe and a fridge. The restaurant "Mami" by hotel has a wide variety of dishes. We enjoyed it as well. Wifi is good. The cleaning was done properly and our things were put accurately which was pleasant to see. Next to the hotel there is a shopping mall CityLife at the station Tre Tori where you can find Carrefour, dm, lots of clothing stores and nice food court which worked even at Ferragosto.
