Location, location, location. This place was literally so perfectly located, from the incredible views from every single window of the room, to the amazing bars and restaurants that were only a few steps away. we were only here for a night, but everything about this place felt so comfortable, welcoming and just stunning. If you want to feel like you’re staying in a small piece of history and getting the full expert of Naples this is it!

The only piece of criticism I’ll have for this entire place is the pillows on the bed. It might seem kind of silly, but the pillows were quite literally hard as rocks. Both my husband and I ended up having to sleep without a pillow for the night (after not being able to sleep very well with that, I ended up using my airplane pillow.) as I said, this is not the make or break it for this place, the facilities were excellent otherwise and we would definitely returned here for our next Naples visit!

The rooms are recently decorated, everything is clean, the hotel is downtown, walking distance from all the attractions and many restaurants, practically in the pedestrian zone. You are feeling all the time that you have the whole hotel just for yourself, like you are living in Naples The owner of the hotel welcomed us, he was very polite, very helpful, and gave us lots of information. We arranged with them to pick us up from the airport for the price which was very reasonable. All in all, I couldn't recommend it more. I would personally like to thank everyone included in this stay starting with Giorgio, the owner, Flaviana, with whom we arranged everything and her father and brother, Ciro and Vicenzo, who drove us from the airport.

Giorgio gave us a wonderful welcome. He was extremely courteous and helpful and gave us a lot of fascinating information about Naples. The location of the hotel is fantastic - right in the heart of the old part of the city, within easy walking distance of most places of interest. The room was spacious, with a view onto the courtyard, so despite being at the centre of things, it was very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. A kettle and fridge, and a small table with chairs meant we could relax in the mornings and between outings into the city.

Next time I would choose one of the rooms with an en-suite bathroom. The hotel made it clear when I booked that the room had an external bathroom, but as an older couple who get up a couple of times in the night, it was hard not to be woken up completely, especially as the corridor lights come on automatically! Other than that, everything was perfect.

Great location and accessible for trains, port and local buses. Giorgio is a great host and was helpful when we had any queries. The room was quiet with no street noise and the hotel’s hidden, you get to it by accessing a huge graffiti covered door and within the door there is a smaller door which we described as a “Hobbit Door” you need a key to open this. Giorgio gave us a key as the big door is generally locked except when new guests are arriving - it’s a quirky place - we loved it ! Breakfast is next door at the coffee bar using a voucher which you receive on arrival. You are expected to breakfast like the locals - great for us espresso and Italian pastries- delicious

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like !

Wonderful B&B located in the quiet Piazza Gesu. Beautiful and spacious room overlooking the Piazza w/ a balcony. You put the key in the slot in order to get electricity, which saves electricity. Umbrellas were provided if rain was coming, which it did. Nearby restaurants and cafes made it easy to grab a meal. You had to get your breakfast at the corner cafe with your ticket. It is in the old part of Naples, so it is teeming with activity.

It was not staffed most of the day, so if you needed something you had to catch them when they were there. Only changed towels every 2 days, and we ran out of toilet paper.

Beautiful elegant 16th century house in the middle of historic core of Naples. We were greeted by Georgio who had kept in touch with us on our journey from Florence via Whats app to guide us in to Donna Elena . Perfectly situated close to all we wanted to see - archaeological museum, cathedrals and monastry as well as underground Naples. Bedrooms were large, spotlessly clean and we had a lovely view onto the square with local restaurants literally a two minute walk away. Breakfast was minimal in adjacent cafe ( croissant and coffee ) but adequate. Upon departure Georgio kindly arranged a taxi for us to take us to the airport - important to arrange a FIXED price with taxi drivers

There wasn't anything we disliked . Don't be put off by the graffiti on the large entrance door to the courtyard of the property- inside is a wonderful and peaceful haven from the bustle outside.Don't be put off visiting Naples by some of what you read ( pickpockets etc ) - just heed local advice . We found our admittedly short visit a wonderful experience .

The hotel is located in a beautiful old building and the rooms themselves are open, airy and very comfortable. Giorgio is a great host and took the time to patiently explain the history of Naples and gave us sightseeing and eating recommendations. The location is close to the Dante metro station, so we were well connected and within walking distance from the central historical district. Giorgio was also kind enough to treat us to some great local wine, which we enjoyed thoroughly!

Only thing about our room that was a little annoying was that our bathroom was not en suite but across the hall - although it was private for our use only. But that meant our room was bigger. The rooms had en suite bathrooms and since it was only for one night, it didn't bother us too much.

Our suite was everything you could wish for, perfectly located in the old town right next to Gesù Nuovo in Spaccanapoli, and easily accessible with a taxi stand close by. Situated in an old palazzo, the rooms have high ceilings and are perfectly furnished with antiques and tasteful textiles. The bed is large and comfortable, and, despite the central location, it is surprisingly quiet during the night. Giorgio, our host, a very kind man, helped us out with all kinds of helpful information. Whenever we come back to Napoli, Dimora Donna Elena will be our first choice.

Lovely building in great location. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Shower worked well and there was plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the light breakfast that was included at the nearby cafe.

Only downside was that because of the hard floors, you could hear all the comings and going’s of other guests (or staff) and people in the floors above. Most of time this wasn’t an issue, but on a couple of nights there was noise very late at night that kept us awake. Overall it was not significant enough to spoil our stay.

Very nice hotel, super clean and good location. Every required is in the room, very helpful staff. If I came back to Napoli, I would definitely stay here again, it was lovely.

only down side was the breakfast which is provided by a café very close by and NOT by the hotel. Staff there were not helpful at all and cups, glasses and all cutlery not clean. Staff handle your food without gloves. Not a reflection on the standard of the hotel at all, suggestions would be not to book breakfast included and find your own at a place of your choice.
